Gents,

I am busily RTFF, (I'm on pg 109 working back) but need to short cut some effort.

In town tomorrow (BKK) for just one night. Want a top quality girl, very pretty etc. Cost not really an issue but don't want to 'waste' money. Where should I head to, can anyone give me directions. "The Man with the Golden Helmet" is one of the most famous and most majestic portraits ever painted. When some 20 years ago it turned out that the painter was not famous Mr Rembrandt it worked like a shock.
So all the thousands and thousands of visitors of the Rijsmuseum who admired and enjoyed that very painting were cheated at the end? I don't think so. They might have been embarrassed after reading the news - but they truly did enjoy this piece of art the very same way as if it was a real one. Because it was good and still is.

So far with this little story. And as we are still in the photo section I have to add at least a tiny piece of art.
Actually the lighting is a bit like Rembrandt.

Worth visiting? - Depends what you are looking for. But I would like to stress on the fact that Thailand is not a SevenEleven or a 24/7 McDonald DriveIn. With the limited time you've got it might be a far better option visiting a nice Massage Parlour. Let them treat you nicely and you will have a relaxing time in between your flights.

I'm just a guy with a few cameras who enjoys capturing the everyday beauty of Bangkok in the public realm. I usually take pictures in the morning while having coffee in my neighborhood. There are many pretty women on their way to work and light is often good. Sometimes I will go to other parts of the city, but then I feel that am lurking around with my camera. Of course, in the big picture, a farang with a camera is just another tourist, right?

Normally, I don't take pictures of my very occasional P4P women. I'd like to find a model someday to work with but that would require an investment in a bigger space, lights, etc. My shy GF might not like this.

I always thought non-P4P photos are not allowed, so I checked Jackson's photo guidelines today, it turned out I was wrong. However, did you know that the guideline says links to personal photo albums are not allowed?

All suggestions are appreciated, as I've only been here a week. Left my small camera in the US, will need to get a new small P&S for quick snaps, don't want to take my DSLR to work everyday.

Since this is the photo section, here is a shot of the streetscene at night on Suriwongse, where the taxi dropped me off at the Montien hotel, next to JC soapy.

PS. Don't think you need fancy lights and studio equipments, just go to a nice park, off-camera lighting with small strobes, a couple of fold-up reflectors. Still have to work on finding the models though.

Tough to get nice shots with a P & S camera, especially when your subject is moving. OK if you are close and the subject is still, like on a bed.

I have my Nikon D200 for quite a while now. Since I haven't studied all through the manual (a big mistake) I just recently found out about the unbelievable remote strobe features it has. It takes the camera and just 1 strobe that you can place anywhere and that can be remotely fired from the built in flash. (The intensity of even 3 flashes can be seperately set, and no matter how far the flash is from the object, exposure will be exact).

I admit it takes some experience to get what you want and I attach one of the first tries.

In the last decade, digital cameras, phone cameras, and digital video have changed the nature of photography. Add internet access and photo websites, and "snap," we're all budding Bob Guccionis! (Bob's the original publisher of Penthouse magazine for you younger guys.)

Bangkok sidewalks provide an endless conveyor belt of beautiful, well-dressed women. Add to that thousands of young women in their black & white university uniforms. Hmmm?

LOL. In public, it's ok. Your pics give a nice sample of what one sees near any university campus in town. Imagine that x 1,000, and you get an idea of what I encounter every day.

However, I do recall I posted a story once about a couple of shifty-looking, badly dressed Farang, I witnessed walking through the campus of Bangkok University, who were taking pics, as well as propositioning female students. They didn't even make it half-way to the exit gate (it's a mere 10 minute walk from front gate to back gate) before the cops showed up.

I'm not sure what truthfully happened to them. But, the rumour was that they picked the wrong student to come onto and were on a plane out of the country the next day.

Just keep your lovely observations in a public space.

To be honest, I've tried Premier League and Third Division with all points in between and find the Premier League to be full of prima donnas who often dont live up to the higher salary they demand.

Here is one of my regular squad members, got her on loan from Team Cowboy at very reasonable rates. Definitely build for comfort, not for speed !
She comes on for a full 90 minutes and goes into extra time with no complaints, penalties have never been required regardless of the length of the match.
Very versatile player, will willingly handle any position extremely well, can play her from the back or the front with no problem and with the right coaching, can even come up from the rear. However, not recommended for long spells in this position as injuries have been known to occur which can ruin her performance
for the rest of the match duration.

Can handle the ball on the left or on the right, but I am probably most happy with her performance when she is coming up and down the centre.
I'm looking forward to playing her again this weekend. I'm hoping for lots of dirty play an even a few dives in the box ! :D

The lack of proper exposure, the graininess and the level of reticulation isn't artful, just crappy.

Well not that anyone really cares here about such things, but there is in fact, and has been as long I've done photography a 0 grade paper. There is also a 6 (so, 0-6). I've been doing photography since the 60s, I have a degree in it, have worked professionally and have also taught it.

These pics btw aren't quite as bad as your last lot. If you're going to post pics, you need to learn to take criticism without insulting people.

OTH, you may be right. However, you are looking at the pictures on a monitor which in most cases are not "ideally" color balanced. So to make a judgment call based on your monitor is not correct.

Also, as Kaintuck says, that is his preference, and that's how he likes it. You may not like it but a lot of others do, like myself.

Just sounds a bit far fetched to me. Freelancers may have jobs etc but a job with an international firm such as a Lotus is far to hard to get for a girl from Isan especially with no degree (yes, they need degree's - check their websites). It is actually pretty difficult to pick up a Thai girl in a place of business like a grocery store. To be seen enthusiastically talking with a Farang would immediately draw suspicion from the floor managers who are always milling around.

By your remarks, it's obvious you don't understand the culture here at all and most certainly have never been in a large Thai grocery store.

Sorry OTH, whilst you usually have a pretty good handle on things, on this one you are just plain wrong. Whilst a 7-11 might be difficult given the relatively low number of staff employed, the cosmetics counters at any Central have been successful on several times for me.
Even the larger hardware stores have plenty of staff milling around ready to assist, and its never too hard to strike up a conversation. They even carry notepads so its easy for them to write down their number for later contact. Shit, I even picked up a sales lady at a Chevrolet dealer after she took me for a test drive.

Whilst I am not professing that it is the most likely place to find someone for a few hours of fun, if you put some work into it, then the possibilities are endless

Sorry folks, if my story got so much attention. If you all read my few previos posts and the post from the recent days in Bangkok, you know I am not into freebies. I went to Bangkok to have a lot of sex and was willing to pay for it every single time. This girl I met in a supermarket. That is true. Some of you forum members gave me a hint that she is working in nana parking lot in the night time. Many of these indipendent working girls have jobs the daytime and nighttime go out for some extra money. Ok now I know, why I had so quick success when talking to her in the supermarket, she did it very smart. Thought it was my charming voice and my good looks. Ok she was than after my money. The reason I wrote the post is because there is something of a trend at the moment for farang to take advantage of the unwritten system here in Thailand. What I mean by this is that if you have an inexperienced girl then she knows from talking to other people that if she goes with a farang then she will get money. She may not completely understand the system and if money is not mentioned upfront then she will not mention it either and will assume everything is under control and you will take care of it at the end. Because of their soft, non confrontational nature and the fact that you are older (normally) she will not bring up the issue (remember I am talking here about inexperienced girls and not hardened girls) but she WILL be expecting to get something out of it for sure.

An inexperienced girl will not argue at the end of the encounter if you do not give here money (in fact even some hardened go go girls will not ask for money if the punter plays it right, doesn’t discuss cash up front and then just plays dumb at the end....they almost feel that if they were stupid enough to not agree upfront then they have no right to ask at the end..mind you they will only make this mistake once).

Essentially if you go with a girl in the scenario you discussed and don’t pay then you have not got a “freebie” ...all that is happened is that you have reneged on your side of what was an unspoken deal. Guys do this here and I have heard a number of stories like this and to be honest it makes me sick as it is the lowest of the low in my opinion. Clearly Thomas you don’t fit in this category and it is great that you kept your side of the unwritten agreement and the girl will have obviously been very happy and this will make it easier for all of us genuine guys in the future...these girls have a tough enough life and no one should be making it any tougher or taking advantage.

Having said all of that it is absolutely for sure that you can indeed find real genuine girls here that do love sex and are not looking for money and I have very much tapped into this scene over the last year or so...however this group are almost excusively Bangkok natives and are part of the “new generation” as they are referred to here...i do not believe this type of girl can be found in the more conservative rural areas of Thailand and generally they are not in need of money.
