I lived in Kunshan last year. It's a small city with a hell of a lot of action. There are two main RLDs. The first is a series of alleys in the apartment buildings right outside the train station. These are low class. If you want to find a better RLD continue walking down the main street which starts right outside the train station. You will have to walk for 10-15 minutes. You will eventually come to a bridge. Don't cross the bridge! Turn right and walk down that street to the end. You'll be in a superb RLD. Don't pay more than 150 RMB. I'm sorry I can't give street names because my Chinese sucks. I believe that the main street is Renmin Lu. If these instructions are no good, don't worry because there are about 10 RLD's and any hotel you stay in will have room service.

This city is in between Nanjing and Suzhou. Periodically I go here for business and there is little entertainment accept for KTV and saunas. I have spent the last few days in Danyang. It is a relatively nice medium size city. It has a much smaller feel than the larger cities in China. As a foreigner you still get looks when you enter a restaurant, shop or in the more remote parts of the city.

Being here on business and traveling with business associates that I don’t know there thoughts on night activities (they are female) I have not had too much time to look for any local scene. I am staying at a very nice Jinling hotel in the city center and business would not get me back until after dinner and would need to leave early in the morning for meeting.

I find very few reports on Shaoxing. Happened to stay at Yuedu Hotel (Tel. 0575-5148888) No. 1 Shengli East Road, Shaoxing, Zhejiang. The hotel is at a good location, close to the biggest shopping street of Shaoxing. As I came here for the first time, and had no clue of the action whatsoever, I tried within the hotel. Now in Changzhou, I tried the aforementioned place, with good results. The staff and girls seem foreigner-friendly, but not much English, I think you'll need to speak some Chinese. Girls #21 and 22 were both very friendly, and active in bed. 21 was the more outgoing type, and 22 was more like a shy girl-next-door, but both seemed to like sex very much. They were both pretty enough for me. #12 was just so-so, and #25 was DFE, I would not recommend her. Well time for some well neaded info on Changzhou. I am staying at a 4* hotel called Jinling Mingdu Hotel on 39 Heping North Road. I have a card but no scanner so if you want a phone number or something pm me. This hotel is not cheap if you look ik up but for some reason I got a discount and now have a nice dubble room for 370RMB. It has great food, gym, sauna, bar and massage. I was in the bar chatting up the verry cute bar girl to try for a freebee (bar is on the same floor as massage; floor 4) and some very cute girls walked by. Bar girl explained that they were the special massage girls so inhouse action is possible. I will try later and post price (and if price is ok also quality). Well I'm back with bad and good news. I'll start with the worst news: I found the action but only in the last few hours of my last night here. Almost forgot: As you leave the hotel (to the right) you will pass two bars. The first I have no info about as I didn't enter the place. For both you need to go up a flight of stairs. The second is the only real bar I found in town. All others I entered in the city center were KTV and I am traveling alone so a no go for me. This bar however (pretty much empty during the week) play a mix of rock, r&b, regea at a volume where talking is still possible. I understood from the barlady who spoke crap english that on a vriday and Saturday the place is packed (fits about 200-250 I think). I won't be able to check this out though. I was there on a quiet night twice and both times had a good time. Bottle of beer is 20Y but you are offered 7 for 100Y. When quiet you can buy the 7 beer and receive them 1 at a time, when busy you will receive 7 at once. Spicy salty nuts on the house and a pool table plus some secluded booths. Seeing as this is the only real bar in the area of several high end hotels I think it might be a good place for freebie of wg on Friday or saterday. If you'r alone or with a group it is still a good place for a bit of fun, at least better than the empty hotel bar.

Interesting 3 days traveling in the outer reaches.

First, in Zibo, in Shandong province. I asked for #88 at the 5 Star Hotel Hawaiian Center for a 2 hour in room massage for 568. Red Coral Hotel (Chinese 4-star hotel, booked via "www", 260kwai/night (walk up rate = 280 kwai/night)

I stayed at the Red Coral Hotel, Zhengzhou earlier in the month.

Location: Er Ma Lu (# 2 Horse Rd? ) within easy walking distance of the Zz Railway Station, reputed to be the busiest (in terms of passenger traffic) in China and possibly the world.

Hotel layout:

I) reception is through the middle set of glass doors and turn hard left.

Immediately inside the double glass doors (within 6 or 8 metres) there is a lift well which has to be entered from the other side. This means that the "walk of shame" is only 6 or 8 metres long, as the lift well obscures the view from reception (where all but one or two of the night staff are).

Ii) entrance to the 2nd level sauna and massage area is to the right and up the sweeping stairway (report below).

Iii) entrance to the KTV also on the 2nd level (did not sample).

Iii) there is a small, and almost unused bar area at the right, beyond the stair case on the ground level.

Hotel summary: clean, comfortable, good location for my business, close to Zhengzhou railway station. Other hotels probaby closer to bars and clubs (in the eastern part of the city). Not a problem for me, as that part of the city is just a 10 kwai taxi fare away, and the railway station always has lots of taxis.

Day 1.

Checked in late in the afternoon. Hot in Zz, and warm inside the north facing room. Took a few hours to organise the details of my 4 days of business.

At about 9pm went out for a walk to find my bearings, find some food, and see if I had any "yellow fever". Decided that "yellow fever" I had, so began my multi-purpose mission.

Day 3 (second part)

Late afternoon tried the in-house foot massage 2nd floor, my first, after meaning to have one in China for the past year. Damage: 98 kwai. (Probably about twice that of non-hotel foot massage.) I arrived by train and booked into the Jin Ling Ming du Hotel (a convenient 4 star hotel) about 2 (big) blocks SSW of the train station. Sorry, don’t remember the name of the street.

The hotel foyer is often busy so any “walk of shame” will not be as noticeable as in a less busy hotel. Reception is immediately ahead, and the hotel’s Ground Floor restaurant is to the right. Lifts are located mid-left.

I bought a detailed map at the convenience store immediately to the left of the main exit from the train station (5 kuai).

For various reasons (mainly pressure of work, and access difficulties because of site blocking in China) I was not able to research CZ on the forum prior to arrival.

Curious at about 7pm, I rang in-house massage on the 4th floor, but they didn’t do “room massage”.

At about 8pm on Saturday night I decided to check out BBSs, my plan being to (i) undertake reconnaissance, (ii) have a meal, (iii) see how I felt later in the evening, and then perhaps (iv) re-check the BBSs with a view to stimulating their cash flow in these troubled economic times. :)

The area I checked was the big block immediately to the SW of the station, one side of which was formed by my hotel’s street, XXX

There are a number of hu2 tongs4 (alleyways). I found perhaps 4 or 5 BBSs without scissors with the ubiquitous swirling neon sign. One BBS had scissors and the swirling sign, but the air of a small establishment which also offered “specials” out the back. When I was there last May, I had dinner in a very nice restaurant in a Hotel, which I believe was very central, near the temple.

Since we usually stay in the Changzhou Grandhotel, but because even if it is 5 star looks a bit old & rundown, we have asked to see the rooms of this hotel, which were very nice but still stinking of fresh paint as the place was brand new.

I will be in Wenzhou and Changzhou for one night each next month.

I will try to find the 50 BBS area in Wenzhou and possibly one of the saunas mentioned in Changzhou, if not BBS.

For the BBS, did anybody enquire about take-out or delivery service? I usually prefer to do the deed in the comfort of my room rather than on premise when on the road.

I can tell you that I had an excellent time with a hot Wuhan girl that I got from a massage place. FS for RMB400. Zip on the forum and even Google stuggles to come up with anything resembling a nightlife - a real backwater by the looks of it.

I will be staying at the Kai Yue Hotel, one of only three hotels listed on Ctrip, and the only one without sauna or KTV. I would appreciate it if anyone can shed any light on FS possibility in the saunas or elsewhere as on-site action at my hotel will be tricky given my traveling companions/hosts.

Hi all,

I will be visiting Yangzhou for two weeks and it'll be the first time I'll have tried looking for some action in China. Looking for any specific pointers on that city and also to confirm my understanding of what to look for after having read the forum.

Looks like a fair price is about 400 RMB, and that I should be looking in hutongs for BBS "with no scissors" or else trying the massage at hotels. I will not be able to use my own hotel as I am travelling with people I'd rather not include--wouldn't want to run into them in the halls or lobby caught "red skirt handed" as it were.

With the BBS what do you say when you approach them? I am a little anxious that I might approach a legitimate establishment and say the wrong thing. Do you literally look to see if there are scissors? What then do you say?

For massage is there any way of telling in advance which places are likely to include some action versus regular massage?

I can speak some basic Chinese but not extensively so I will be working on simple phrases and gestures.

My first scout around, I wandered around town a bit trying to get a sense of where things might be. No luck in actually finding any trouble to get into, really hoping that one of you guys will pipe up and give me some clues.

What I know so far:

I wandered lots of alleyways and saw lots of BBS's but they all appeared to have scissors--people were getting haircuts in every one of them. Did not look like anything would be going on there. I am not sure these exist in YZ, maybe I just don't know what to look for, or where to look for them.

What are all these places with stairs that go upstairs and some little desk at the downstairs? I can't read Chinese. They have a sense about them like there might be something interesting going on there? Are they massage places? I realized I need to learn some Chinese characters, specifically what is the character for massage? I will be going to RTFF to see if I can learn that, or from somewhere.

The area that looks most interesting is in the alleys and small streets off Siwangtinglou between walmart and the tower. There were a bunch of alleys that plainly had massage places, but I didn't stumble across this area until I was out of time so I didn't give it a try. There are also a lot of little majhong parlours along those alleys and my suspicion is that gambling and sex somehow go together.

I will be exploring that area again and I'll let you guys know what I find.

Meanwhile if anyone can give me any clues to guide my search I would be not only very grateful but sure to post the results here next time I get a chance to do a wander around.

What I did not check out this time were hotel massage spots which would be what I'll do when I get desparate. I'm not going to use my own hotel but I guess no harm in wandering in to another.

Any way to tell which massage places are legit versus fun?

I stayed in the new nice hotel there, but I can't remember the name. Huge 5-star joint with multiple restaurants. Anyway, it had an in-house sauna that provided the desired services.

Also, when riding around by taxi I saw multiple BBS's that were obviously open for business, but I didn't get a chance to sample them because I couldn't ditch my co-worker.

I checked this forum before for zhoushan, but it was not any reports. I started looking around the place,even it is difficult to communicate in Zhoushan in English, I managed to find some places. East street is in parallel with Bingang Rd after 20:00 many small shops are open, where girls are sitting and waiting in the line. You choose one, my was perfect (9 out of 10). 300 Yan/60 min sex. I was hoping to have a regular full body massage from a beautiful girl for the 60 kuai that we saw at the front door. But that was not forthcoming. Well, the main point of me telling this story, since there was no happy ending, is the strange combination family package that this place offered. Has anybody ever seen a sauna that catered to families while still providing full service to those in need? Even with fathers and mothers with their sons and daughters running around, it still seemed like business as usual. Maybe this only exists outside of large cities? Quite strange. Yet wonderful, that something like this could exist.

I'm going to China for the first time in March for and will be making a detour to Haian a part of my itenary and might spend a nite there. Thus, I was wondering if there is anything happening in this town.

China is a huge country with more than a billion people and even the small provincial towns are big. So it is unlikely anyone on this forum will know anything about what is happening in Haian, or Jiamusi, or Handan, or Qiqihar or any other place off the beaten track.

Your safe bet in places like this is the large middle class hotel with rates of about 300RMB for rooms advertised and rooms going for 100-150RMB. Usually these hotels have beauty salon or massage service, sometimes even advertised in the room with scarcely clad ladies. Sometimes, not always, you get an inviting telephone call around 10. 30 PM. If they are unknown to foreigners, they might hang up as soon as they understand you don't speak Chinese. Say ''anmo'' to break the ice might help. If you establish contact, after some ten minutes there is a knock on the door and the lady enters. You can ask for another one, sometimes they are surprised if you accept the first one. Full service (one hour) should cost some 300 RMB for foreigners. Make sure you get it written down to prevent nasty discussions later on. The young lady may be more nervous than you are, so sometimes the second night is much better. And if they are used to silly foreigners, the prices may have gone up. If you want to make your own choice, try to find the bath house or beauty salon floor and ask for anmo showing your room key.

(This is What?) while pointing at the shop around. That way I wandered into small hotels, Internet cafes and realy small KTV's, but also scrubby looking Massage Parlors and BBS's.

Just walk in and ask, the chinese don't have the inhibitions posed onto us by our christian upbringing ("sex = bad") as we have in the western world. And if you're wandering off the beaten tracks the locals realy seem to like it that you show interest.

I spent a night in Wuxi and the board seems a little anemic on the info for that city, so I'll chip in what can.

Stayed at the Xizhou Garden Hotel. Chances are no one will go there since its a little outside the city but if you do end up there, there is a Sauna right beside it. Walk out the lobby, walk a few paces to the left and the "Tian Le Yuan" is right next door.

Pretty much the usual routine. Line up was one girl at a time coming to the room. The place seemed busy, lots of asians/mandarin speakers.

I had #8, a talkative gal with nice tits. The first go was great but as I was recovering for round 2 she distracted me with chit chat and suddenly my time was up. Make sure to keep track of your time boys.

First things first:

Hotels are where NOT to go if you are looking for pussy. The prices are just too high. There are also lots of saunas. I wandered around one night and found a sauna, and they wanted between 300 and 500 for one shot. There were some various levels of service, but I was not interested to hear the breakdown.

My price breakdown for what I *did* get:

A 20 year old girl for 2 hours, 300RMB. Overnight was 300RMB from midnight. I didn't have that much time (needed to go to work the next day).

Taxi fare, to and fro: Worked out to about 108RMB. I was nice enough to give her taxi fare back (30RMB), so that is included. On the way back, I took a "black/ illegal taxi," and it happens that he works in the Red Light District of the city (there is only one) and so he had the numbers of all the Mamasans. The area is called 湖塘东方路。

The district to which I went was one of the strangest places I've ever been in China. The taxi driver on the way there said to me: "I know of one place where girls are working, but I can't guarantee that they have started work." So, I went along and he took me to a place that was ostensibly a noodle shop (and there were people eating noodles), but in the back there were 6 working girls. They made a big show of being afraid of me (even after 15 minutes of gentle conversation in Chinese), and so I went down the street to the next place (which was a mini-mart/ place for the girls to sit). It took a bit of talking, but I managed to get one of the girls to go with me. She was a local girl, and a bit Rubenesque (which I like), and unshaved (which I like-- I had to make a point of gently asking if the girl had vaginal hair).

We came back to my place (a distance of 14km) and had a nice shower and unrushed service.

I will not share the number of the girl, but I will share the number of the driver (he only speaks HEAVILY ACCENTED Chinese): 13057165281. Because the sex industry there is very unstable, he is also a connector for all the various mamasans (they are his customers).

It happens that I took the same girl 2 nights in a row. Part II follows. This is just the section detailing the logistics of the trip.

There is another area here in Changzhou called 西新桥三村/飞龙路.

What I found here was:

There are lots of women working in the 胡同 and a couple of Papasans/ touts bringing in passersby, but there is NO take out in these places, and I was not able to steer the discussion into what the price would be for overnight. The price was something like 100RMB (that is the lowest I was quoted) and they are all short time --of necessity. (The rooms don't seem to have any air conditioner, and I could see my breath this evening. It's not hard to imagine why this was not an ideal place for fucking.) Chinese is necessary here!!!

Earlier, I reported on the other area that has women in it, and I have found that there are quite a few and that (unlike the area discussed in this report) those women ARE available for take out.

When I caught taxi back, I talked to the driver to synopsize the choices available here in Changzhou and he told me that there were 3:

1. Hutang Road hookers;
2. Xixinqiao hookers;
3. Saunas. He said that the price for saunas was something like 200RMB for a short time, but that sounded too good to be true. In any case, I did walk into one of those places and priced it and the price (as I remember) was 258 for basic service and higher for "other" services. I am not sure about the possibilities for bareback in those places, but I would gather that it is very low.

Talking to the driver en route, he also mentioned that there is a town not too far from here called 丹阳, and that it is about 1 hour from here by bus. He said that overnight there was about 300RMB (the same price that it is in the first place on the list) and that there is more selection. When you add up the time wasted going back and forth (guessing about 40RMB round trip) plus the added cost of opening up a hotel room (60RMB for an hourly room and 100 for overnight sounds about right), it actually ends up being cheaper to just find a reliable Mamasan in Changzhou and work with her. (I found a girl that I really liked and told her that she could come during the daytime and we could cut out the Mamasan, but for some reason she was not interested.) The Papasan/ Driver whose number I put in the first post on this city has been able to get me two other girls. One was SMOKING hot (with a good attitude) and the other had stinky feet, but both were ultimately not suitable for further visits.

What I found was: If I went to the Hutang Road place, the girls were afraid to go with me (loss of face in front of their colleagues) but when the driver brought them to me, nothing more was said. They came right in and showered and we went about our business. The price was marginally higher (because of the driver/ papasan fee), but it was worth it on the strength of the convenience.

Most likelly she is a migrant worker (most WG's are) and lives in the same house/shop/room as her Mamasan. There could realy be no way at all for her to leave the place she lives in for a large ammount of time without her Mamasan noticing she is meeting customers behind her back.

After settling in to the Holiday Legend Hotel (和平假日大酒店，He Ping Jia Ri da jiu dian) I took a long walk for the exercise, and to see if I could locate any places of interest for the hobby (BBS etc.), especially as I had found a few last time. My late night perambulation was confined to the area between the hotel and the railway station, along He Ping Zhong Lu (HPZL), a distance of about 2 km and a city block (approximately) either side.

I was aware of previous ISG research:
photos of a WG initially found in my hotel lobby by Andrew_2, 22 September, 2009,
an extensive field report in another area (suburb) of Changzhou by Clandestine782, 16 March, 2010,
as well as my own contributions.

Perhaps I was a little late (about 11pm), but the places I previously reported (on the rhs, as you exit the station and proceed along HPZL) either no longer existed, or were closed for the evening.

I then scoped on the opposite side of HPZL (from the railway station, on the left hand side of He Ping Zhong Lu) in the area between the Buddhist tower and HPZL.

I found only 2 shops of interest, 1 with only 1 WG (that I could see) and a Papasam, and another, with that alluring shade of pink, with about 10 SWTs. Many looked bored watching TV, but one or two were doing embroidery (as much as I could see), and 1 or 2 were reading, probably practising their English listening and negotiation skills. (hahaha) It advertises itself as a 24 hour shop. The shop is within sight of the Buddhist tower.

I wandered for a little longer, around a few side streets. There is a foot massage place closer to the railway station, which – given the gawdy advertising – probably has extras, either on site, or negotiable off-site.

I found a small massage place, also in this same area, and … given that I had a sore shoulder from an awkward lifting of my laptop computer earlier in the day … thought that "nothing ventured, nothing gained".

Massage 50 kuai, including, including some extra shoulder attention.

I was invited to partake of a HE (all included in the 50 kuai price, I think).

However, by this stage I was starting to think of more than a handjob, because she was attractive (even without beer goggles), and had a pleasant smiling face and manner. And, she had a few brain cells. Plus the fact that she had offered a HJ meant that there was probably a more extensive menu on offer.

After some gentle confusion and misunderstandings, she agreed to come to my hotel for 300 kuai.

Perhaps it is the safety or fear factor, and might have been the reason for the improved Changzhou performance on the second night.]
