Is anyone interested in talking about some experiences/stories in BellaVista here (names changed to protect the guilty....err..I mean innocent)?

I would have to be discrete, of course, as I still live here.

I've gotten the impression I'll just be flamed.

I would like to exchange intelligent dialogue on yall's views on causes, opinions, impressions, stories, etc. on stuff....obviously this forum would have to play largely into anything written on BellaVista.

I ask because I have seen some intelligent dialoge here, but, I have been heavily flamed in the past.

jdindc9,

I am at a total loss as to the BellaVista you refer. Perhaps i missed a description to it's location in a previous post. I have been to La Colonia by I10/85, but I don't think that is what you are posting about. A little help for me here?

The whole idea is to tour the MPs, starting with Marilyn's, then proceeding along Montes De Oca, stopping at LePetit and then Genesis. If nothing there, proceeding to 16 de Septiembre and going towards downtown to Corpus and then Felinas on Jose Borunda. If nothing there, then north on Panama to Sirena's, El Cantanto, Brendas, and finally Venus.

You ain't never going to get that far!

This is a great idea, especially for the newbies! You've come up with a valuable service for the dedicated MP hobbyist. Actually, I have done this once by bus and foot (ok--I skipped two of the places on your list); but it took quite a bit of time and effort. All these places could easily be investigated in one hour by cab, so $15 seems quite reasonable.

I do have one suggestion, though. If I were taking this tour, I would prefer to visit the places in reverse order to how you have them listed. I say this because if I can't find someone I like at the other MPs, I KNOW I can at Marylin's!

$15 is more than three times the daily minimum wage in Mťjico.

Here's a question I've been meaning to post for some time. Anyone out there have an approximate idea how many guys the chicas at the MPs screw per day? Ever since I've been visiting them, I'm pretty sure that there's only been two times when I've not been the only client in the place. I assume they do more business on the weekends, but I'm not even sure about this.

Not that this really matters much to me; I'm just curious.

Girls who work in bars can make $200 a week just serving drinks. Anyone with a little snap who opens up a successful business can make good money. Where do you think all those late model cars you see on Juarez streets and parked in front of the houses come from? You think those nice little houses with the locked up parking spaces are cheap?

No taxi driver in Juarez is going to haul you around burning up his gas for any less than that per hour--- besides which, you don't know where these places are or how to find them if you had the addresses...so good luck. Save your money.

But I'm not suggesting any lower price for such a good service.

A really hot one can go up to ten times if there is enough traffic, which most of the time there is not. However, Brenda's and Corpus and Marilyn's seem to be having pretty much a steady stream of men coming in all day long, so go figure. Nothing like in the *****bars, of course, where the number could be 20 a day.

I'm sure he would take you in any order, but I have to get Roger the list he will need to do this. He only knew of about half the places I mentioned. That will be on Saturday. I thought Marilyn's first would be better for new people, though. You already know your way around.

I promised coupons to Marilyn's and Sirenas to all who signed up for my discussion forum at the Juarez Tour Guide site. The problem is that some other people did, too, and, except for a few I am sure came from here or another monger forum, there are some handles I can't be sure about.

I don't want to send some soccer mom coupons to massage parlours in Juarez, Mexico by mistake, so if you need coupons, just drop me a line at elk_dreamer@hotmail.com, and I will get them off to you.

Ok,

Here is my trip report. I went to Juarez on a Monday night. I had to go by myself since it was a last minute trip. I went to M. Venus and went for seconds there. Fist was Alejandra and then Lety. Alejandra is an 8 about 22 and Lety is about a 7 and 26. Both were great, but Alejandra is nicer and her atitude is better. You can't miss Alejandra, she has blonde hair with hair extensions. Lety is always showing cleavage. M. Venus is 40 per 45 minutes.

I made it to Phantoms but it was slow. I went to Amadeus and hooked up with a girl with artificial top. The VIP section is nice. 10 dollar dances, but FS is allowed if you top the waiter working that area.

Trex: Go to M. Venus at least once. According to the folks there, best days are Mondays and Tuesdays. On my trip I saw 11 working there and I would say only one six all others with better ratings.

Good luck,

Juarez Defender

not doubting that you have good info on the area. but if i were a newbie, i would be apprehensive about getting advice from a poster who picked the worst place in town to live and also set up shop in a bar known for its drug addict girls and **** pimping. these are facts. i'm not trying to flame you if that's how it sounds. your story is an interesting one, though and i can't believe you are still there.

Rather than emailing everyone the coupons to Masajes Marilyn and Sirena, here are the URLs to the images, which are in a hidden directory on my web site. Just Right-Click on the image, Save As, then print the image whenever you need a coupon. Or you can bookmark the links and print directly from Explorer or Netscape.

This way you will have an unlimited supply.

BE SURE to cut and paste the links instead of typing them into the Location text box. Unix servers have case sensitive directory and file names.

Juarez Defender:

Your report on MP Venus was right on the mark. I went there this Saturday, and there were about eight girls available. Most were in the 7 range (perfectly acceptable!); but there were a couple who would rate at least an 8 in anyone's book.

Although I'm usually attracted to the sweet looking, girl-next-door type--and to dark hair--there was something about Alejandra that I could not resist (wild, blonde, funky hair and all); so I selected her. You were right on the money about her being fun! Lots of laughing and acting (in a playful way); but lots of serious sex too!

Venus definitely goes on my "A" List, which is very select. I think the few extra dollars they is probably worth it, considering the selection of girls and the above average decor and facilities. I'll certainly be back.

P.S. You had two girls, one after the other, on your last trip to Venus?! Either you are: a) 20 years old; b) on viagra; or c) even hornier than I am, which I did not think possible! At any rate, you have my admiration.

Here's my cultural question for the week: just how derogatory is the word "gringo?" I was under the impression that it is moderately so; meaning that someone could take some degree of offense from it. On my insult-o-meter, I thought it would rate somewhere around a 4 or 5; equivalent in intent (not in specific meaning) to calling someone a "redneck" in English.

Now my experience with a girl at Venus this weekend (see below), has made me re-evaluate my take on this. She was joking around with me while I was on my way out, and she called me a "gringo caliente" (I countered that "gringo rapido" was closer to the truth...but I digress). Now, I know she was joking around, and I took absolutely no offense; but I was a bit surprised hear her use the word. I understand that context is the key to most such comments (one of my friends always opens his calls to me with "hey, fucker, how you doing?"). However, maybe "gringo" really only rates about a 1 as an insult? Something on the order of a person from the south calling a northerner a "Yankee?"

Anyway, since a few of you here are well-versed in hispanic culture, I thought I'd ask.

Here's my rhetorical question for the week: who devised the censoring program for this site, the N.O.W.? How come "fuck" is acceptable, but "w-h-o-r-e" and "b-i-t-c-h" don't make the cut? Isn't this a BIT too politically correct, especially considering that this is a sex guide?!

The term "gringo" is totally dependent upon the context.

First, any friends you make in Juarez are never going to refer to you as a "gringo"---no more than you would feel any need to make any reference to their ethnicity. They are going to call you by your name.

The only time I heard "gringo" used with any derision was by a guy in the Villa Manport Hotel one night, when he said "Hey, gringo!"

Just leaving the word hanging in the air was enough to mean it was insult, but my friend Elva quickly stepped in there and told him I was ok.

I don't know what she told him, but he came right over and apologized, saying he was drunk and that he and his friends were customs officials. (Guess some of them don't like us very much.)

They bought me a beer.

It will also be used as just a descriptive term to distinguish between people who live there and visitors from El Paso or elsewhere. It is no more derogatory in this sense that saying "black people" when you are talking about something relevant to race.

It's strictly contextual, and being called "gringo caliente" means you gave her some good dick!

Keep up the good work!

a comment first, then a couple questions. DE is right about "gringo" depending on context--if it's said like an insult it is one, but can also be a friendly thing. I frequently apologize for my lame Spanish by calling it "mi espanol de gringo".

speaking of lame Spanish, what's the word or phrase for "blowjob"? And secondly, I usually spend the full hour at Marilyn or other MP, with massage and the whole bit. But if pressed for time, or just in the mood, is it rude to just ask (back in the room of course) to go directly to BJ?

last question: does anyone know of any Asian providers locally (Juarez or El Paso), whether in an MP or elsewhere? I love Mexican ladies but travelled to China recently (pre-SARS!) and developed a taste for the oriental style and body type (generalizing here of course).

All of the girls I've been with in Juarez always ask at the beginning of our session if I want a massage; I've understood this to mean that they'll get right to business if you wish. I've always taken the massage, mainly because I like a little "warm-up" and because it gives me a chance to practice MY lame Spanish before the games begin (and I lose any language skills that I thought I possessed). So, no, I don't think any chica would consider this rude.

As for "blowjob"..."por la boca" works for me. This and a few other other phrases are listed somewhere off the home page of this site.

The verb for "suck" is chupar. So if you say, "Chupame por favor" she will get the message. Personally, if she wants to suck, she can. I come to fuck, but I have used this phrase a couple of times when I was in the mood to just lay back and let her do all the work for a change. A Mexican man might say it differently, but I know it works.

And you don't even have to make any pretense of wanting the massage if you don't want to. If the first time I like to just pat the table, invite her to sit down, and tell her I want to talk a little first. After that, they know you don't want one. Kind of nice to spend the whole hour making love instead of wondering when she will get down to business, but that's just me...

Blow job = "chupada" or "chupita," the latter being the dimunitive form and so marginally more polite ("blow me a little bit," "give a me a little bit of a blow job"). "Por la boca" is probably a better way to start negotiations whereas the forms of "chupar" ("mamar" is a similar verb) might better be reserved for the bedroom. Even more polite and deferential would be "Ņquieres hacer el amor por la boca?" (do you want to blow me?) or "Ņpodemos hacer el amor por la boca?" (could we have oral sex?). "ŅTe gusta sexo por la boca?" (do you like oral sex?) is another possible negotiating tactic.

If you say "chķpame" or "mŠmame" you are by definition giving a command, so even if you add "por favor" it is a little demanding. But, I do it and get away with it. I would not say it out loud in a club in Mťjico, though. Stick with "por la boca" in the negotiation stage, would be my advice. Then, in the bedroom, if you are not too sure where you stand, you might try "Ņme chupes?" which is a question in the subjunctive mood, vs. a command tense. The subjunctive mood implies that you are not sure whether or not it is going to happen.

Hope this helps.

I'm considering taking some time off next week for some r. and r. further south in Mexico. Some friends of mine have suggested Mazatlan, Zacatecas, and Chapala, because they consider them to be worthy vacation destinations, for a variety of reason. I'll probably be taking a bus from Juarez, so these places are about the furtherest distance I'd care to travel.

Here's the problem: none of my friends knows about my hobbyist activities, and I'd hate to spend an entire vacation without some "assured" female companionship. Any advice/words of wisdom from the knowlegeable folks here? I'm looking for advice on places to stay as well as places (esp. MPs) to visit the chicas.

I am also going to put in an inquiry on the appropriate regions on the WSG; but I ask here because many of you guys are extremely informed and reliable on all things Mexican.

You can reply to me here, or, if you prefer, at rogeriusrex@hotmail.com.

Hmmm.... the Engineering Manager at a company I worked at a few years ago took a bus trip in Mexico. Bus got robbed by highwaymen. His dad had a .45 auto put to his forehead when the old guy was a little too slow producing his wallet. Everyday occurance in Mexico.

Paractically an every day occurrence in New York, San Francisco, Detroit, Las Angeles, Houston, Dallas, Atlanta, New Orleans, Miami, and Chicago as well. Sorry about your friend or acquaintance, but your post makes the insinuation travelling by bus through Mexico is likely to result in one being the victim of a crime. The story is tragic, but just an anecdotal story.
I plan to do the same thing sometime this summer and expect no problems whatsoever.

Funny how "horror" stories about crime in Mexico always ignore the fact we have the same identical problems in our own country---and on just as large a scale.

For the last few summers Iíve been taking the buses all over Mexico and have never had any problems. Most of them are Mercedes units with air-conditioning, comfortable seats, bathrooms & they even show movies - usually US action/drama along the way. The drivers are very professional - they seem to have the same prestige as airline pilots in the US. Its my favorite way to travel in Mexico! They tend to stop at lots of small towns along the way, which I always find interesting. Make sure you get your permiso (travel permit) before you go, then once you get to where your going have it stamped at a designated bank (listed on back of permiso) - the stamp will cost you about $20. Every now and then armed federales come on the bus looking for drug smugglers or illegals from South America. They usually poke through a few bags and ask some of the passengers a few questions. Iíve been asked where Iím going and Iíve been asked to show my permiso.
As far as mongering activities Iíve found that even the ďconservativeĒ cities have a zona within a one hour drive. For example, when I went to Zacatecas we had a cab driver take us to the ďcompoundĒ which was about 5 miles out of town. Once there you get searched for weapons before you go through a gateway into a circular compound which is ringed by cantinas and cheap rooms.
Chihuahua is a great city to visit, only because it is so close ~ 4 hours, but I havenít had time to checkout the mongering activities because Iíve always gone with an amiga.
Another option for finding the mongering opportunities in the various cities is to check out the local newspapers. Last summer when I was in Leon, I discovered a few very nice massage parlors on the outskirts of town this way. Anyway, good luck on your trip, Iím sure youíll have a great time.

Buenhombre:

Thanks for your reply. Everyone I've talked to who has riden the buses in Mexico has the same impression as you.

As for your experience in Zacatecas: can you give us some more information on your visit in the "compound?" I know things change quickly, but were there some good looking chicas there? Were any of the places "nice" (relatively speaking), or were they all dumps? Can you recommend any particular places to stay in Zacatecas? If I can pull this trip off, this is probably where I'll end up spending most of my time. I understand that the hobbyist scene is almost non-existant in Mazatlan; and I am certain I want to avoid the touristy places like Puerto Vallarta; although I'm sure my options for getting laid would be much greater there. But there is more to life than just getting laid (I can't believe I just wrote that!).

This may also interest you: all this talk about the dance scene has intrigued to such a degree that I'm taking a cumbia lesson on Friday! I guess maybe I do have some kick left in me after all!

Hey, that gives me a great idea for a page under the nightlife section on the JTG web site: dance lessons!

Not to mention it probably being the next best thing to sliced bread when it comes to meeting local chicas.

Would you might sharing where you are taking the lessons?

Last time I was in Zacatecas was 2 summers ago. I went to the compound during mid-week, so it was slower than usual. Most of the cantinas had a few gorditas, but there was one huge & classy cantina that had a large stage with a dance floor in front. There were about 40 chicas sitting around the outer edge of the table area. Lots of 7s, 8s & 9s. I donít remember the name of this club, but you canít miss it - it has the most clients & chicas. You can walk around the whole compound in about 5 minutes. Anyway, at this club, you asked the girls to have a drink with you and quite a few of them would go up and dance with some of the dudes. I think it was a dime-a-dance type setup where they would give them a few pesos after the dance. I had gone there with 2 newbies from my school (Spanish immersion) and they were kind of stunned by the whole setup. After a while a pretty good floor show started. A drop-dead gorgeous chica would do her first dance on the stage in a bathing suit then the second number in her birthday suit. About 6 chicas took part in the strip show, then the lights would go up and the other girls would go back to dancing with the clients. I asked 3 cute chicas to join us for drinks (donít remember the cost, but it wasnít much) and ended up spending the evening (just talking) with a little cutie who works as a singer in a traveling mariachi group. I didnít bother to check out prices for the room trip, but they did have them - every now & then a guy would step out with his chica, then stream back in after a while. I was content talking to my chica - she said that most of the girls there would come in from the surrounding towns to pickup a few dollars - unknown to their families. She herself claimed to go work there about 3 times a year when funds were low. It was obvious that most of the chicas werenít hard core hookers. I probably would have taken her to a room, but the guys I was with were stunned enough that I asked the chicas to have drinks... although they didnít complain. I left about 2:30 AM and the place was still hopping . I found it kind of surreal, well worth the effort, even though I didnít get laid.... Donít worry about a ride home, lots of cabs wait outside the clubs.

In Zacatecas I stayed a kind of a posh hotel right across the street from the Palace. I donít usually live so high on the hog, but work was picking up the tab. Even though it was high-end the price was still reasonable - somewhere around $45 a night. If you really want to go upscale, they have a hotel that has been build on a bullring - talk about elegant. Didnít bother pricing this place, but did walk through it and had a beer in the lounge. You can actually get drinks served in the previous toro holding stalls (cleaned up) While I was in Zacatecas, I did drop into a few lower-end places and checked out prices & availability for when I go back and found that there are many clean, functional places to be had in the $15 -$20 range. Food was also reasonable - thereís a Argentina steak restaurant near the center of town that has unreal steaks. I had a filet migon that must have been a pound & a half plus 2 beers for about $7.
I like Juarez & spends lots of time there because I live in El Paso, but it still has a bit of an edge that you donít get in the interior of Mexico. Prices are cheaper and if you go to a non-tourist place - youíll find you are unique & its kind of fun being different.
When I was walking at the market in Zacatecas a woman called me over to her candy booth and gave me a small bag of candy. She said (in Spanish) ďwelcome to Zacatecas American, I hope you enjoy your stayĒ. She then called over some of the sweet young things that worked in her section to ďmeet the AmericanĒ . They stood there staring and giggling - it was a trip!

Cumbia lessons huh? Good idea , vale la pena (its worth the effort). Without a doubt its the most natural way I have found to meet a chica in a strange land. I mean, they want you to approach them... not a bad situation.

Buenhombre: Wow...Thanks a lot for your extremely thorough report! All you wrote will be extremely useful to me; as I suspect it will be to anyone else on this site who's thinking about going into the interior.

Dreaming Eagle: I just picked this dance instructor out of the yellow page here in L.C. If she seems good I'll send you her name, etc. at your hotmail site.

Adios amigos!

I am TOTALLY dance impaired, which is interesting because I am a musician in addition to my "normal" gig. So the "dancing is better than sex" refer from a few posts back was a dagger to me.

Questions: does one need to DANCE or just make the attempt?
Dance lessons are almost out of the question for me given there are only 24 hours to a day.

To further muddle the waters,I'm guessing fast is preferable to slow to begin with, and that's where my problem lies.

Cumbia? a nightmare! (ha)

For all you dance wannabes - several years ago I took salsa lessons in Chicago. And the chicks just loved to salso. I even saw one ad in the paper - a lady seeking a salso partner who just wanted to salso all night long. But it was fun for six weeks and then I understood that it would require my either practicing or going out for salso at least three times per week to perfect my routine. And guess what - I did NOT have the time for this. The salsa dance is "in" but I was not interested in persuing a dance routine that took so much time. Now here's the good news, I would hope, for some of you - I gave up my salsa routine and discovered a very effective one that requires very little - but has immediate and powerful impact.
All you do is hold the chica in your arms. While the music is playing, you just gently bounce or rock lightly to the beat of "uno, dos, tres, cuartro" - all the while riveting your eyes into hers. Do not be distracted for one second with the eye contact. Keep your eyes riveted on hers and just sway back and forth - and you might softly say, uno, dos, tres, cuartro with a little smile. Get the feel of the music, the beat the tempo. Give her gentle squeezes from time to time. From there you can converse right smack in her face, eye ball to eye ball, and the solid eye contact will get her juices flowing if you don't distract yourself. You may or may not be surprized at how many chicks get off so to speak with the one in one hundred guys who know how to establish and maintain eye contact. You won't get all sweaty from swinging all around the floor as well. Save the sweat for the bedroom. I guarantee you'll score with this if you can repeat this dance routine with the same gal for a number of times (hell, I don't know how many times - but probably more than one dance).
Give me some feedback on this. I did this with one gal in the Zona and was shocked to learn she did NOt know how to dance. She was very embarrassed as I led her to the dance floor and ther were only 4-5 people in the place. After gently rocking to the beat, and doing the Uno, dos, tres thing, she very quickly calmed down and said something like, "Oh, is this all there is to it?" Now I don't consider my self a romeo, but I am confident that this simple technique is the answer for many.

Short Trip Report

I just returned from Juarez and must agree with the previous posts that the massage parlors are the best option. Here's what I found:

Border area clubs: Too expensive for average women and average service. Other gringos must be catching on to this...most clubs were completely dead.

Street girls: Poor quality.

High-end clubs :
Amadeus, Joker, and Phantom have some beautiful women, but it is very difficult to arrange a hotel visit. While you are negotiating, they're ringing-up $10 drink and $10 dances on you. You'll blow $50 without even knowing if you can get them to you're hotel which will cost at least $150 more.

Massage:
Good selection of women and the price is right ($40 for full service).

I drove past Virtigo dance club several times at night and saw several 10's standing outside each time. Anyone know what would happen if a gringo started buying drinks for these women? Would that [CodeWord140] (http://isgprohibitedwords.info?CodeWord=CodeWord140)-off the Mexican guys in the club or the girl you are buying the drinks for? I'm not too familiar with their culture and I'm a little afraid to give this approach a shot without having some info.

Are there any massage places open late (after 9 pm)? I couldn't find any and since I'm there on business, it's difficult for me to find one open when I'm available for some fun.

Almost everytime I drive to the border area at night, the Mexican police pull me over and give me the same BS: "we know you've been drinking and we need to tow your car, bring you to the medical for testing, and after that, bring you to a judge." Then they make obvious references to me giving them a bribe. I've also noticed they always ask where I work in the US. I now tell them I work for the US government with the Immigration and Naturalization services. You would not believe how quickly they get out of there. They know they can get in trouble for what they are doing if they pull-over the wrong guy. I would recommend anyone driving in this area at night have a story ready when and if they pull you over and NEVER pay them anything unless they really do have something serious on you (drugs).

ElPasoGentleman,

How quickly one forgets how to romance. Your post was right on, and I now vividly remember doing just that with a woman I cannot have or forget. Danced and sang to her, in fact.

God, here I go again.

"I now tell them I work for the US government with the Immigration and Naturalization services."

Damn boy, you got a death wish or something? I guess you didn't know that some of the drug families in Juarez have a bounty out for U. S. border officers. And some of these Mexican officers are beholden to some of these families.

Another good alternative is to have a pad and pencil in your hand writing down their name and badge number and if yu can see it, vehicle number. If they're trolling for bribe, many times they'll exchange your license for the information you've written down.

Also, if you're sober, tell them, "Let's go!" or demand to see the commandante or a judge (juez) If they're on the level they'll let you follow them to the station.. Legitimate fines are often much cheaper than the bribe.

On thing to watch out for though is Juarez has a new liability insurance law. Mexican insurance not American and they're enforcing it. Read about that in the El Paso Times sometime ago. No doubt this is going to be a source of revenue for the cops!

Not surprised about the clubs. They've been deteriorationg for some time now.

None of the MPs are open past 9 which means you have to get there by 8 to have your hour. The law dictates they close by 9.

Regarding your experiences with the police, I think you can bribe them 98% of the time, but I would not risk my liberty having drugs in the car. The penalties usually mean prison, and, if for any reason you cannot bribe your way out of the situation, life as you know it is over for a good long while. There are hundreds of Americans in Mexican prisons for drug offenses, so obviously counting on being able to bribe your way out does not always work. If the offense is drug related, the American Counselate will bring you a toothbrush and a Time Magazine and say bye-bye...

Regarding the cops in a larger sense, the only time I seem to have problems with them is when I go downtown at night and get off into those streets around the ***** bars. I have never been hassled in any other part of the city, and with the work I'm doing for the web site I am on the streets about 5 hours a day Saturdays and Sundays. Kind of amazing how different things are away from the hustle of el centro.

Dreaming Eagle, thanks for the info. I knew there must be a reason for them all closing at the same time.

Does anyone have any information on the escort/massage services advertised in the classified section of the Juarez newspaper? They claim they will go to your hotel room for $30-$40 and they show pictures of goreous women, but I'm a little afraid to try since I might get stuck with a dog (as often happens in the US).

Also, I noticed something at Amadeus about tipping during my last trip. The Mexican men never seem to tip the bartenders nor the dancers. I throw a $1 tip every now and then, but with tipping the dancers, it had absolutely no impact (I barely got a thank you) and with tipping the bartenders, it seemed to label me as a sucker. Do I have this wrong or is it best not to be tipping in Mexico?

I have used the "night services" as they are called 3-4 times with very mixed results and don't recommend them, but if you don't like what the guy brings you you can give him $5 for his trouble. (It takes a lot of gas to haul all those gorditas around...)

And unlike the MPs, the price will be $45-50 the minute they detect a gringo on the other end of the line when you call. For some reason, they want to raise the price even more it you are staying in a hotel.

Also, I can tell you the girl is going to be pretty scared being alone with you for 2 hours. My ex-neighbor worked for a night service and had some really horrible experiences being dropped off at some guy's house for 2 hours. Also, two of the girls I got had that "on-edge" "on drugs" kind of look to them and would never relax no matter what I did.

Once I had a good time, though. The girl was not a druggie, was smart enough to see I was OK, and said she really enjoyed being in my apartment. We talked at my kitchen table for about an hour and spend the last hour in bed really making love---but I would not count on getting lucky with the night services. They were just part of the learning curve.

Regarding tipping, they may not tip in an expensive clip joint, but I assure you Mexican people do tip in normal bars. I have heard this myth over and over that Mexican people don't tip each other, and that's all it is, a myth.

I just don't care for the strip joints anywhere even though I worked my way through college playing drums in them in Dallas, TX. Judging from my limited experience with them in Mexico and from the posts on the boards they do not seem to be good places to find all-nighters or even a good time for an hour or so---incredibly expensive in a cold, uncaring atmosphere where you are up against some of the worst greed manifested in human nature---just like here in the good ol' US of A.

The massage parlours are the true jewels of Juarez, Mexico, but do have to get familiar with them to make that scene really click for you. Short of having the time to explore them the ***** bars are the best bet for the infrequent visitor or someone with only a night to spend in the city. They ain't great, either, but it sure beats getting clipped $11 for a shot of tequela and $12 for a table dance...

Thanks for the info Dreaming Eagle! You saved me $50 on the escort thing.

I agree the massage places are the best deal. I'm still intrigued by the strip clubs Joker and Amadeus. They are a definite rip-off 90% of the time, but I just have this feeling like there's a possibility of meeting a really great woman there for a GFE. I guess I like the thrill of the hunt and while massage places get the job done, it's almost too easy.

BTW, I do business in Juarez and my customers seem to think the Joker is the place to be. They kept making references the good time one could have in the back room. Trying to be professional, I didn't probe any further, but the locals seem to think the Joker is the best place to be. From my limited experience, it seems more wide-open the Amadeus and Phantom. I'll explore this further in June when I return to Juarez.

Listen, man, I think you should explore what you're customers are trying to tell you. They may know things about that club no gringo is ever going to find out without some help, and they may going in there and getting what they want for a very reasonable price.

There might be a whole 'nother scene for those who are trusted connections versus the walk-through-the-door customers.

Just ask your clients to show you the ropes and put yourself in God's hands some night and go back with them. They would probably be thrilled you had enough balls to want to see the "secret" side of the city.

And there are plenty of secret sides to this city. She is the old ***** in a work dress and boots with crooked teeth and broken streets who reaches into her apron strings and pulls out a diamond for you now and then because you gave her a big hug and told her you loved her...:)

These guys are trying to accept you and make you one of them, so don't slink away like some high powered gringo who only comes down to talk business. Go on down there and have a few laughs in that club with them. They will make it a point of pride that no harm comes to you. They know you are a stranger in a stange land, and they will watch over you just as you would watch over an unknowing visitor you liked from some other country who did not speak English in a bar in our own country. Just think, it would be fun to play that role for someone, wouldn't it? Why think your Mexican friends are any different from us?

No monger guide could ever replace what these guys can tell you. We are all just dancing around the edges of what's there, even the most knowledable of us, and I hope you will take the plunge and report back to us. I suspect a big adventure is about to happen to you.

I'll do my very best to explore the underground world in Juarez from the locals perspective. I'm a little restricted as my company has made it clear that when I travel and represent them, I am to always protray a respectable image. An innocent comment by one of my clients to my company could get me in a lot of trouble, even if my client was thrilled to take me out.

BTW, I did get 2 Juarez restaurant recommendations and after trying them, I agree they are excellent:

Barrigas (great Mexican food at a great price): Several locations...one on Avenue de la Republica just past the bull fighting ring. I ate here nearly everyday last week. Outstanding sit-down meal and service for about $10. I think they have one in El Paso, but I'd bet the service is worse and the prices are higher. Anybody know?

Taco Tote (great Mexican fast food...price surprisingly high for fast food): Intesection of Avenue Hermanos and Avenue of Americas. It might cost you $8 (this is no Taco Bell), but you are getting both quality and quantity here. There are a few of these in the US as well.

Well, KDog, I have not learned much in life, but I have learned the job is the first thing since about everything else comes from it...so I totally understand. I would never do anything to jeapordize mine either.

Here is another great restaurant recommendation: The Villa Del Mar on V. Guerrero, across the street from Futurama, has the most fantastic shrimp dinner I have ever had.

Since I discovered their "Fiesta de Camrůnes" special of 17 shrimp for about $9.00 US the restaurant review section of the Juarez Tour Guide web site has totally died! I don't want to spend my money anywhere else. The shrimp are cooked three different ways. 6 fried shrimp; 6 shrimp cooked kind of Chinese style with an egg batter around them; and 5 shrimp cooked with bacon and wrapped around a sliver of green pepper and served in a spicy brown sauce that makes the rice indescribable. They have other locations, but only the chef on V. Guerrero prepares the shrimp in this way...the chef at the location on Ave. de las Americas is a very distant second. If they were hanging me in the morning, that would be my last meal.

DreamingEagle,

I have thoroughly enjoyed reading all of your posts - they're SO informative!

Couple of questions:
1) Are the masajes open on Sunday afternoons?
2) Since this forum is getting so huge (38+ pages), could you possibly post a quick summary of names and addresses of masajes you'd recommend? Or is the Juarez men's guide up and running?

Muchas gracias in advance, amigo!

I agree with Beavermich post below, much information on a lot of pages, very active forum. I am from the LA area with twice yearly trips to Thailand.

I visit Juarez about 8 times a year for very short business trips. I am always stuck at the Garden Hilton Hotel near the Airport. I have been quite intimidated by the Juarez traffic, though it is nothing compared to Bangkok's. Last summer I just had crossed the border into Juarez when the skies opened up and was hit by a big downpour in huge thunderstorm. All the streets were flooded, got lost and wandered all over the place until finally found my way on to Technological and out to the Hilton.

For business reasons I must confine myself to short trip to a massage parlor. Are there any near the Hilton? I can drive or take taxi, would be best if I had landmark to direct taxi driver to, do not want the hotel to know what I am up to.

Thanks for any suggestions, maybe I can provide any help on Southern CA or Thailand if you plan visit that way.

This will soon be it's own site, but for now it's buried in a secret directory of my main Juarez Tour Guide web site.

I'm posting it to get you guy's input on the concept of the Guide.

Whatever you do don't mention this in the guestbook or the discussion forum o the main site.

I cannot aford to have an association made between the two sites in Ciudad Juarez for obvious political reasons.

Once the site is finished (4-5 weeks, and no burla this time), I'll be hoping for some kind of link exhange with Jackson, because nothing will be able to replace the WSG for depth and breadth of coverage.

You're comments would be appreciated and should be posted here or sent to DreamingEagle@juarez-mexico.com.

I've spent thousands on the main web site and the store, and I'm glad I did it. But I've finally realize I'm going to sell more pussy (albiet indirectly) than I ever will colorful alebrijes wood carvings from Oaxaca.

Give it a look when you get a minute. I'd appreciate your advice.

DE, that looks very good. It will definitely be most helpful.

Note that at first I was at a loss to make out 'Companionship Bars'. I thought this might be a bar where you just buy girls drinks
with an aim for arranging for a later rendezvous (i.e., a special type of local bar). But then the comparison with MP's made me realize that these are the ***** bars. Perhaps you should change it to something like 'Companionship Bars (aka Brothels)'.

Also, regarding being very easy to pick up girls in the local bars for speakers of Spanish, it probably depends on the bar. For example, a few years ago I was at Rodeo Medianoche, and had trouble just getting a girl to dance, let alone pick one up. Of course, it is probably much easier than in the US, since then you aren't like a lottery ticket so to speak (i.e., for a visa).

Greetings All.

Just returned from CD Juarez (third trip this year).Had a great AND bewildering time.I guess i am learning more about the culture there, along with spanish, but some things (especially concerning the women) are maddening.

Do they want you to be "aggressive" when trying to meet them? I had a few chicas around the markets make serious eye contact, smile and "Buenos Dias", and then drop out of sight immediately.

Maybe it;s the "catch me if you can" game. Not sure what to make of that.

Secondarily, i went to a well known bar (PL) in Juarez, and met a very sweet girl.had a great time the first nite (ie room etc). went back the next nite, had another great time with her,but she wouldn.t go to a room. Finally found another girl who explained that this girl thought of me as a boyfriend, and so she wouldnt take money from me for "that".

Has anyone had this happen as well?

People at work are now making a pool as to whether i will return from my next trips to Juarez.

Well, I thought about this issue a lot and finally decided not to show any nudity on the site or make any direct reference to prostitution. This decision came about after some pretty in-depth conversations with one of the MP owners. If you will notice, none of the sex businesses in the newspaper ever advertise anything about the word "sex".

The laws in Juarez are bit schizophrenic about prostitution, truth be known. In the MPs, it's technically illegal, yet everyone knows the truth. Note, also, that the rooms are always separate from the *****bars themselves. This is to support the thinnest veneers imaginable to where the owner can say, "Hey, I have a bar, and I have some rooms. The girls pay me to use the rooms. I got no idea why they take all those guys over there..."

So it's best not to use the words "prostitution" or "*****" or allude directly to money for sex in any way.

Club Panama had a web site once upon a time, but the owner got in trouble for stating explicitly what was being offered. Note, it's been gone a couple of years. I don't know what he had to pay, but that man has no interest in anything to do with the word "internet" these days...lol. When I asked him if he wanted his bar to be included in my Men's Guide he just started shaking his head no the instant he laid eyes on some sample pages.

The sex trade exists "under the table" in some regards in Ciudad Juarez, and there are a number of concerned citizen groups and religious leaders who go into a rant at the fact prostitution is tolerated. Now and then the city raids all the MPs with "inspectors" to placate these people.

Why [CodeWord140] (http://isgprohibitedwords.info?CodeWord=CodeWord140) them off with a web site which openly talks about sex for money, expecially being a gringo who lives there and has a promotional web site for the city? I think I'll play it nice and safe. Just as you did, anyone who knows anything about about Latin America is very quickly going to cognite that "companionship" means sex.

Thanks for taking the time to look at the proto-pages, Crespo.

DE.....website looks nice. Hope it all works out for you. If I visit the forums, I promise not to flame anyone. lol

WS6.....Ladies Bar has quite a few different connotations in MX. Usually it mean that ladies (and I use that term loosely) are welcome, but it could mean anything from TV's to amateurs. The "real" bars in MX do not permit the women. That is by customs of the old days. Nowadays, it is much more of a grey area in regards to women in bars. The semi-decent girls usually will not go, but they will do the discos or dance clubs instead (as if they were more respectable). Kind of rambling here...yeah they are worth checking out, but as always be careful. GL

RearWindow.....the one thing I have learned about Latinas is that their actions have no basis in logic or reason of any manner whatsoever. They are pure emotion, which is great "bajo las sabanas", but in everyday life is pure hell. About that one in the PL thinking she was your GF, it is a possibility. However, I have gotten close to a few from the bars, and they never had trouble taking my money. I looked at it as a "release from all liability". lol Yeah, I have gone home with a few and gotten freebies. I'm sure they thought I was their knight in shining armour, but I guess they have seen WAY too many novelas. Maybe yours was there looking for a BF, and found one in you. It is very hard for us to understand what goes through these girls minds. Just enjoy it and try not to hurt anyone. Even though they are pro's, most of them have big hearts.

Forgot a few things.......Never,Ever get attached to these girls in the bars. It is almost always a mistake. Don't go shopping for diamonds at the Flea Market. It is easy to feel sorry for them and want to be their saviour. I speak from experience. Don't do it. Now, if you want a nice girl, that's a whole different story......

Loryed is behind Hipermart on Triunfo de Republica. As you may know 16 de Septiembre is one way west running towards downtown, but at Ave. de Las Americas is turns into a two way street, the name chancing to Triunfo de Republica. Just keep going east towards the airport. It's a few miles past Futurama. When you see a big globe shaped building on the left side of the street get in the right hand lane, because Hipermart will be on your right after you go around the next curve. Take the street on the right side of Hipermart. Loryed is in a little two story building right in front of you, facing the back of Hipermart, on the second floor. It was only $25 my last visit a month ago, and I had a great time.

Anybody else agree that
press coverage which labels Ciudad
Juarez "the City of Death" in the minds of the American people might
just lack a little balance? Can I say this without anyone thinking I'm not sensitive to the presence of a mass murderer in the city?

Just a little tired of unbalanced coverage which makes the place sound like a den of cutthroats and thieves.

Does anyone have pics? I saw your recommendation not to visit the SG. For $10 -20 how much time does that get a gringo?

First of all, I hope I qualified my remarks enough as personal opinion. Obviously, lots of guys visit these girls with nothing out of the way happening. I just don't choose to run the risk of being associated with drugs in any way in Mexico.

None of them ever quoted a length of time to me, but none of them ever rushed me either. Not to say that won't happen, though.

Plus, my experience with them is limited to about 5 weekends when I was attracted to the price and the fact they would actually come to the house.

Regarding the differences between TJ and Juarez, from reading the posts, there are apparently a heck of a lot more girls available on any given night in TJ than in Juarez---and in a real red light district. There really is no official red light district in Juarez, just three large bars in the downtown area with 20-40 girls in each (on a busy night) and a few smaller ones. The posts indicate the MPs are just as expensive in TJ as the bar girls, though, and upselling seems to be reported a lot. In Juarez, the MPs are as low as $20-25. Upselling is rare. They are mostly in residential neighborhoods or business districts.

I suspect in TJ just just have to show up, and in Juarez you need a little more information to find what you are looking for if you stray away from downtown.

Most of the SGs in the zone in TJ are drug free. Usually the pimps and hustlers have narcotics on their person. It is usually best to pick your own chica. All the pimp does is cut the girls price down and he takes a cut for geting her a customer. $15 chica $5 for the hustler. The TJ girls also charge more for sin ropa (no clothes) Its average $20 girl $3 room fee but she will only remove her pants and panties. For an additional 10 -20 she will remove her top and become completely nude. If you have any questions ask and I will try to answer them Eagle. $20 will get you 15 - 20 minutes.

I just returned from a business trip to Juarez and had 3 nights out on the town.

Sunday 5 PM: I didn't have a rental car, so I took the hotel shuttle downtown because I knew there would be plenty to do and see via foot. Most of the strip clubs are closed or just opening at this time. I went to Yankee club (regular bar) and had some 2 for 1 drinks. There were a couple hookers in there and one wasn't half bad. Then I went to Panama and it was dead (it always is when I go). Then I decided to have some fun and check-out just about every club in the area. The best I found was called Queens (closer to the border than Panama). Again, 2 for 1 drinks there. Must be the norm for Sunday night. There were two outstanding women there. One tall and skinny and the other short and tight named Nellie. The tall and skinny one was too good to be true, so I passed thinking she'd have a bad attitude in the room. I guess I'll never know. Anyway, Nellie was great fun. I took her to the room for $60 (I know that's high, but I was having a lot of fun with her and figured she'd be worth it...and she was). More on her later.

Tuesday 7 PM: Thought I'd try Panama again before heading to Queens. Again, mostly dead at Panama. Just as I was finishing my beer, a beautiful young babe walked in. This was her first night ever working. The manager said I could have her for $40 including the room. I should have known better. She was really sweet and tried to please me, but she was just too shy. She didn't rush and enjoyed kissing, but she wasn't very aggressive nor open during sex. At first, I didn't really believe this was her first time, but after the session, I believe that to be true. She wasn't bad, but it felt more like a first date than a sex session. She'll learn the ropes...then it will be no more kissing, but better sex. I guess you can't win. Needless to say, I never made it to Queens this night.

Thursday 8 PM: First to Amadeus. Great great club to have a beer or two. I can't get over how beautiful that place is and how good the sound system and service is. The women are dam good too. However, it becomes a waste of money after a few beers if you're after sex. Around 9 PM I headed to Queens. Nellie was there. She immediately recognized me and sat with me. We talked for about 30 minutes and went upstairs for $60 again. This time, she was extremely open and was really into me. A true GFE. During our session, she asked were I was staying. I told her my hotel. She asked if she could spend the night with me. Of course, I said yes. Her shifted ended at 1 PM and it was only about 10:30PM. So I went back to my hotel to rest expecting to return to the club are 12:45 AM. Unfortunately, around midnight, I became really tired and dosed off. I woke up around 2 AM knowing I missed an opportunity for a great night.

Juarez was pretty good to me this trip. The main thing I learned was don't give-up on the other clubs like Queens, Hollywood, etc. They have better drink prices (2 for 1 usually) and often better women than places like Panama.

Where exactly is Queens? I have that great Mapsco Juarez book, so can find it if you can give me the nearest corner streets.

I'm ready for a quick change from the MP scene. I've generally done ok but had a very mixed experience last week at Corpus. My first visit there, and there was only one appealing girl IMHO--I have no idea how the other four or five there that day, ever get takers. But the one girl was cute, nice body and ass, so I went for the gusto.

She still looked good naked, but the massage was perfunctory and the sex was ultimately pretty dull and mechanical. The problem came after we finished--she pointed down, and I understand Spanish well enough to know she was saying the condom broke. Which it had--an awkward moment, and she didn't seem too happy about. Hell, it wasn't my fault--she supplied the thing. And I wasn't thrilled about it either. I'd like to think it was my extreme size--lol--but am pretty sure it was the cheap Mexican rubber. I suggest you bring your own, guys, which is what I'll do next time.

Do you remember her name? Corpus is a short walk from my house, but I have quit going because they have had no one worth getting excited about since Aracel quit. If it was Alexandra, she is the owner of the place. The other girls are really sweet people. I often used to visit with them a while just to pass the time, but, you're right, no way I'll part with money for that.

The way they get customers is from local married guys who don't want to be seen popping in and out of MPs all over town...they will often settle for what is there having run the risk of having their cars parked outside...:)

sorry DE--she was petite (especially for Corpus!) and rather dark-skinned, but I don't recall the name (don't think it was Alexandra). and ultimately, despite good looks, she was nothing to get excited about...though your apparent charm might get you more interest and/or enthusiasm.

Out of curiosity, where have you had the best results and beautiful girls recently? and any idea where that Queens bar is located, or experience there? I'm glad to pay for the Men's Guide when it's up and running, but until then...

My God, could it be Aracel has returned? Was she so dark she was almost red, had small breasts, and a cute face with faily short cropped black hair---small c-section scar on her otherwise perfectly flat little 20 year-old tummy? If so, Dreaming Eagle esta veniendo Sabado que viene!

Ok, I am going to tell you guys the truth and make you crazy at the same time. There is a Perfect One working in one of the MPs. She came into my arms after just a bit of conversation and began kissing me passionately. She was affectionate, hot, young, and had a perfect face, body, everything. She began to squirt almost as soon as we started doing it. I had just had another girl, had been there on business when I saw her, was not looking for a girl, so was therefore able to just plow into her with complete control (for quite a while, anyway). She did not move afterward and said that sex had come her heart.

We then had a long conversation in Spanish in which I understood everything she said, and she understood everything I said---my first perfectly relaxed first conversation with any girl in Mexico---as though some kind of invisible golden light was shining down on us to let each other read each other's minds for a few minutes.

I can't tell you where she works, because I don't want to read about anybody fucking her---something I swore I would *never* do and something which, inwardly, I had always thought was kind of silly when some other guy did it, and am slightly embarassed to admit. But I guess it's part of the story. I will never tell, however dumb it sounds. I mean they are working girls. I took a friend to see one of my favoritas two weeks ago without a twinge of anything but being happy to see that smile on his face when he left the room. Had her the next day myself, and things were hot as ever.

The Perfect One, however, asked for my phone number after learning I had a place in the city, and I hope she never calls. That one could spoil all my mongering from here on. Horror of horrors, when I came back from an outing on Sunday there was a strange number on the cell phone. I left again and did not bring the cell phone with me. I do not want a girlfriend or a wife, but all she would have to do is say "boo" and some silly, irrational part of me which wants to believe a 52 year old man and a 20-something year-old girl could have a future together and hold up laughing little babies to the blue sky....

Until 6 weeks later I see she is mortal and want to find the next Perfect One.

We've been down that path before. It won't work. It always hurts the girl more than me (because I am a monger). I will never say anything more about it, because none of this ever happened. I was never there. I was home sleeping and had a dream.

Regarding the Men's Guide I did take more exterior photos this weekend and make a checksheet of the few items of information I still need. I need to visit 8 more MPs and get what information I can from them. Then it will be ready. I have already registered the domain name.

The first dollar bill I earn after spending thousands on these web sites it going to get framed, and I am going to buy the first monger who buys a Men's Guide a personal tour of the MPs and buy him his first girl!

How nice it is not to be working tonight. The JTG is finally #3 under keywords "Juarez Mexico Restaurants" and "Juarez Mexico Attractions" in Yahoo and Google. It was getting 50,000 visitors a year without Google or Yahoo, and it can coast for a while. So can everything else...

So I thought I would post one of my little secrets for having a good time in the MPs. It might not even be something which appeals to you, but it works for me 90% of the time, so I had to pass it along.

Just remember you have her for an hour and that she will do about anything you ask---especially if it's something nice and normal like massage your cock with her hands.

I like to stretch out on my back like I want a normal massage, but then take her hands and put them on my dick. "Necisito un masaje aqui mismo, mi amore, y solo aqui!" (I need a massage right here, honey, and only here.)

(You Spanish critics give me a break. It works. What could be easier to understand that wanting to have you cock rubbed.)

I grease her fingers up with the baby oil bottle I have thoughtfully snatched up from wherever and placed right beside me on the table.

She always begins that slow slide that soon has me hard as a rock. I smoke, and I even have a cigarette as she stands beside the table and does my bidding. The ones I pick always have a nice beautifully tight little ass (or they don't get picked), and I begin to slip my hand under her little MP gown (if she is even wearing it), and let my fingers enjoy playing across those sweet curvaceous butt cheeks.

"Estoy en paraiso," I tell her. "Que manos tienes!" (I'm in paradise. What hands you have!)

Just make up your mind this girl is going to massage your cock as long as you want her to. You have her for a whole hour.

She will always begin to get hot, her eyes fastened to your towering member. I mean it's pretty hard to ignore.

Slowly lean over and take one succulent nipple into your mouth. The hand will start moving a little faster now. Hunch sensuously back, like this is how I am going to fuck you.

Sometimes she will get so hot she just leans over and starts sucking sin condon, baby oil or not. Take her head and press it down hard pushing it to the back of her throat. She's your's now!

Had you tried to dominate her up front she would have gotten that "ok, go ahead" glassy-eyed I can fuck John Holmes and still chew my gum attitude, but now she is your little sex slave, letting you impale her pretty head up and down on that rock hard cock you got because things were so relaxed like a perfect little sex slave.

Now she's ready to be fucked...

DE....Awww, c'mon let us all know where your sweetie works so we can all go down there and give her a good rogering. lol. I'm just playing with ya. I feel the same way about my favorite girls and bars. That's why most of my "advice" on this board is only general info. Even thought they are pro's, I still have a little feeling for each girl I have ever had. As ostrich as it may sound, I like to think that they are not as productive as they actually are. It's all part of the fantasy known as Juarez.

There is also the issue of the Ugly American (great read, if you haven't already). Hell, I don't even take my friends to most of the bars I go to, simply because of the the backlash. I work really hard to overcome the negative gringo stereotypes, and it doesn't take much to undo all that peace-making.

DE, that was her, no question about it. The description is perfect right down to the c-section scar, which threw me at first. She said she has a daughter, two years old I think. Obviously my mileage varied toward the low end when I was there--give us a full report when you return por favor.

And I'd be delighted to be the first (or at least early) buyer for your site, with or without a tour. I'm sure you'll get plenty of takers--best of luck.

Hmm...actually, my take on the girls in the MPs is that they are pros in the sense they sell their bodies, but most of them are really sweet girls who don't do drugs and are just there to feed the kids. This one conversation (letting them know you understand the situation) will buy you more mileage than other you can have with one of these girls. They are not prostitutes in their hearts.

So I think there is some basis for your fantasy, especially when you become someone she knows and is glad to see again, as I suspect you are with your favoritas. I don't even have to believe I am the ultimate customer in her life, just one she really enjoys being with.

I also travel alone in Mexico. Two weeks ago I made an exception, and the guy is really a nice guy whom I work with. But he walked out of my neighborhood bar with a beer in his hand, and presently we had the security guy, the bartender, and two of the girls out on the street telling him to hand over the beer. This guy would never have walked out with a beer from a bar in the US but he assumed everything is fair game in Mexico, never dreaming he could have gotten the bar shut down on the spot had the cops seen him leave with the beer.

Then there are the really ugly Americans---the ones who sit in the bars 3 feet from each other and talk loud enough you can hear everything they say across the room...the ones who think (as the Mexicans like to say) they can buy all of Mexico with a single dollar.

Harmless but amusing are the Americans who walk up and automatically assume we are buddies and that I want to talk to them because they, also, are Americans, never realizing my inward reaction is that of a seasoned tom cat at the sight of strange children in the room.

Even more amusing still are the gringos who have been coming to Mexico for a long time, even perhaps living there, sometimes for decades, who consider themselves experts on the place, but still see hostile conspiracy theories in almost any situation when someone is just trying to tell them their pants are unzipped or that they dropped something on the ground.

The truth is I don't hate my fellow Americans in the least. I can actually enjoy a few beers with about the most ignorant among us and truly enjoy the company of intelligent people with a decent sense of humor. I just wish more of us could free our brains of the constant negative programming about Mexico and see the place, and the people, for what they are instead of how we imagine they will be.

I'll conclude by hastening to exclude 99% of the Mexican people I encounter in el centro around the *****bars. My reaction to them is that of the old tom cat wary of becoming soup for dinner. El centro has no more to do with Ciudad Juarez as a whole than do Harry Hines Blvd. in Dallas or the seediest places in LA or Chicago have to do with those cities as a whole. Drugs and poverty are just not a good mix.

On a totally separate topic, has anyone else noticed how much the quality of the posts on this forum has improved in the past few years? It used to be mostly "that little ***** was enjoying sucking my big pole so much I shot come right in her eye!" kind of stuff...

Hi guys,

I have just had a BLAST over at MP "VENECIA". I went to J town to have a few drinks thru the ZARAGOZA bridge and went to "La Juerga" it's a sports bar. Then I started talking with this guy and, he ended up been the owner of several MPs. One of them is by the ZARAGOZA bridge. When you cross the bridge keep straight for about half of mile then you will se a store called "Rapiditos Bip Bip." VENECIA will be almost right at the front of this store on your right side, there will be a stand were they sell tacos de machitos, then next to it you will see a purple light of the name VENECIA. Listen, this guy told me that the owners of all MPs are trying to open all the MPs 24hrs. I don't know if its true or not but this one is already OPEN until 1:00 am Sun - Thurs and Friday and Saturday are OPEN until 2:00 am. Their prices are pretty normal. $40 for one hour or $25 for 25 minutes. I saw 5 girls tonight and they are all above 8s. The one I got is a 9+ I mean nice everything. If anybody goes during the day, I will like to know how it is OK. He also mention that is going to open 2 MPs more until late at night and early in the morning near the other bridges. I soon as I'll know I'll post it.
Thank guys for all the other Info.

Take the "Zaragosa" exit (one past Lee Trevino on I-10 East) off the interstate and head south for a couple or three miles. I haven't been to this MP yet but I've been to the border crossing more than once. I'm pretty sure it's still technically in El Paso (county), but definitely at or near the eastern limits.

I do know the Lee Travino exit, and you'd better believe I am going to check out this MP Venecia. I would love to see 4-5 girls in the same MP who are all 8's or above.

Something has been telling me there has to be a lot in Zaragosa, but this new is the first time I've had a compelling reason to actually go.

I went by to check out Venecia in February. All I can say is that the choices weren't impressive during the day. The girl did say they had a lot more girls at night. I really didn't like the girl telling me it was $40 for either oral or vaginal, extra for both. Upselling?

The only other MP I know of in Zaragoza is Stephanie in the Plaza Waterfill. It is even closer to the bridge than Venecia, on the left.

Lol at the people who think Zaragoza bridge is at the far eastern limits of El Paso County. If you take the Border Highway, bridge is only about 15 minutes from downtown. Be advised there are actually two bridges there. The one you want will be straight down Zaragoza road, or the first bridge you see after you exit the Border Highway if you are coming from downtown. It will be immediately on your right. The other bridge is a little farther east (say an 1/8th mile). That one is strictly for truck traffic.

I posted a few weeks ago inquiring about Stephanie MP, a place I used to visit a while back in Plaza Waterfill, just over the Z bridge. Well I was in the area last week to visit my old boss at a maquila. Decided to see if Stephanie was still there. It is, but I didn't even go in. Reason: as I drove into the parking lot I saw a few girls walking towards the MP. They were obviously massagistas and were all gorditas.

Bummer. Back then, this MP was always staffed by attractive girls. I think it is under new management, cause they seem to be hiring completely different type girls & not advertising anymore.

I had seen the ad for Venecia, so decided to take the short hop over to check it out. Easy to find. As you go south from the bridge, Waterfill takes a turn to the right; Ramon Rayon Y's off to the southeast. Right as you go right on Waterfill, there is a small shopping center on your right. A small Bancomer there, Venecia is all the way at the end.

Place has big windows up front, like a bakery, except the goodies are different here. You can see the girls sitting watching TV as you drive up. Don't go there if you're shy! I'm not, So I went in and asked for information. 40 bucks (guess they saw my Texas plates!) not all inclusive; your choice of oral or vaginal for the price. Said no thank you, and left. There were 2 girls, about 5-6 on the scale, average build.

Too bad these 2 MP's aren't decent, as easy as they are to get to from the Z bridge.

Hi all,

DreamingEagle, there are two routes to get to Zaragoza Bridge, the long way is to take I-10 East and after you pass Cielo Vista (Hawkins exit) keep on going then pass Yarbrough, McRae, Lomaland, Lee Trevino and Zaragoza exits. After Zaragoza exit the freeway will announce "International Bridge". After you pass Zaragoza exit the next one is AMERICAS exit same as loop 375, or Joe Battle. On this street up the freeway towards north is called Joe Battle down South is called Americas Av. and all of it is Loop 375. Ok, you have exited Americas, then in order to go south to Americas Av take the right lane and be careful because there is a sharp right turn curve, now your facing south. Once after this right turn take the left lane ASAP, and you go in like a kind of small 2-lane freeway going south and this is the Americas AV. Going south on this Av. after 2 or 3 exits Zaragoza (Internacional) bridge will be announced then exit and stay on the middle lane, the first set of lights to turn left are for truckers and the second set of lights turn left (for cars) and there at the booth pay $1.25 to cross the bridge just like the down-town bridge. Then pass the Mexico Aduanales and follow the previous directions I mentioned before.

Short Way,
Traveling from Las Cruces, get off at the only Down-Town exit, make a right on the first lights, I believe is "Santa Fe ST" go down the street pass the Grayhound Buses, then pass the Paisano st, pass some RR crossings then after the Parking Lots the only way to go on this street is a sharp left curve, make a left here and now you are at the Border Hwy. After this left turn (curve) you will drive under the down town bridges and pass a couple of lights, keep on going the there will be some curves, and also this highway will mention I-10 and I-54 but stay on the left lane and don't take any exits. After these exits there will be the following exits: fonseca, midway, yarbrough, and Padres exits, I believe after Padres exit there will be a sign of the Zaragoza Bridge exit, take it, then right turn on the first set of lights and pay your $1.25 to cross the bridge, and you are on your way to your adventure.

Five girls all an 8+ at Venecia, I would like to see that. I have scoped out 4 or 5 Massage parlors in Jaurez and have only seen a 7 in one place, at Laura's.

I have not seen an 8 in the Panama club in over 10 years.

Thanks for the great directions. I decided to take Wed. as a vacation day, however, so I will already be in the city and will reverse them out and be coming in from Cd. Juarez.

The email address in my profile here is a Hotmail account I've had for 6 years, and it gets so much spam now (about 80 spams a day) that unless the topic line has something to do with "Juarez" I am apt to miss it. I thought I had written back to everyone on this forum who has ever written me, so my apologies. Keep in touch. I like correspondence on and off the board.

I'm setting a goal to have the guide finished in 30 days, meaning written and ready to go in book form along with an accompanying web site. It will not be part of the Tour Guide site, and I would appreciate it if everyone here would never make any association between the two on either web site. I'm kind of sticking my neck out here a bit, if you know what I mean.

But I don't see what they can do to me as long as I stick to facts in the guide such as locations and hours or business and prices for "massages" or "companionship". These are, after all, legal businesses in Cd. Juarez.

The big hang up has been maps. So guess what? I'm going to draw my own friggin' map which will cover all of the *****bars in el centro and at least 15 MPs.

Tell me if it would help you guys who don't know the city real well to have: 1) a big map with numbered arrows and a legend showing which location each number represents; 2) the MPs organized into 2-3 routes, each of which comes with driving and bus directions, so you can cover a lot of ground fast to find what you want; and 3) the Planos de Juarez City street map thrown in as a freebie in case you need a more detailed map.

The guide is not going to have any reference to the web site in it, nothing to indicate where it came from, and no pictures of girls to make some daddy or brother or boyfriend killing mad if they fall into the wrong hands. The domain name is registered private. All you would be able to tell them is some guy on the internet wrote it, because that's all you know about me.

I think I've finally thought my way through most of the complications of doing this and am determined to finish it now. I'd hate to have everyone here think I was just full of hot air after discussing this for almost 6-months.

I must apologise for my lack of posts over the past 6 months or so but for some reason I couldn't log on. I just discovered that for some reason, I wasn't able to log on through my AOL browser.

I'm not aware of any MP named Laura's. Did you mean the bar.

Regarding the quality, I've had tons of 8s and a few 9s in the MPs. You just have to keep moving and keep looking.

I meant Brenda's on Hermanos Escobar. I cannot remember her name but she was really petit and gave great service. It was about a month ago.

At Laura's bar, next to the Casa Colorado, I scored with a cute 21 year old about 2 weeks ago. Cannot remember her name either. She originally asked for $60 but I bargained her down to $30.

There's two or three at Brenda's right now that are hot. They were having a special last week: 3 girls for 300 pesos.

A big map with numbered arrows and a legend would be great! That would be enough for one to build their own route for walking or driving. If you could assemble some information on the various bus routes, how much to pay, how often they run, etc., that could be handled in a separate area....handy info for non-mongering pursuits as well!

I'll be in Juarez this coming Thursday and Friday. I've been there a few times before and taken advantage of a couple of bars and a couple of the ladies. I had a lady para la noche from one of the notorious strip clubs but wondered if there were other options for all night visits. Any advice in that direction would be appreciated. Money is not really a problem, but I certainly don't want to add to the "Gringo's have all the money" myth and hurt future mongers. Any idea on anything other than bar or street girls?

still around, though not in el centro. i decided to return to dc.

the final straw was when i met a girl who was **** (17), was convinced/practically-sold by her boyfriend to a certain well-esteemed bar owner who also was my landlord. i was there the day she was "sold". well, she originally never did cocaine, had her money saved by the esteemed bar owner so she could go back to her home city....any guess if she was addicted to cocaine by the time i left? any guesses on if she ever saw the saved money?

fyi, she has short brown hair, a little chubby, good looking, and has a small wolf tattoo on her back. i have sat with her outside on the sidewalk as she cried about how she hated going with the guys. but she couldnt go home (bad home life), she couldnt go anywhere. now, before you guys label me a sucker, realize that i know these girls lie, i have been had many times in el centro, she wasnt lieing. by the time i left though, she had been properly broken-in and was a good little drug-addicted prostitute.

but on the upside , i did get to see the famously described circle of women getting more and more addicted (search others past posts) ...first they work at bars like pink lady and panama, then - as they get more addicted - they move down to bars like laura's. then, when they wear out there welcome there (and by this time they are *real* addicted) they move to the cave or directly to the street. from the cave, the street. if you want to find them, go around the gym.

crack cocaine, really is the tool of the devil btw. at the risk of giving away my identity, i put three women/girls through rehab. i offered rehab for the girl that originally robbed me when i first visited el centro (search past posts). she declined. i spent alot of time and money on this rehab. i saw some of the girls/womens mothers, fathers, and brothers and sisters on visiting days when i would visit. kind of changes one's perspective on things. the problem is that once the girls are rehabilitated, then what? go work at a factory for less then fifty bucks a week? so they go back to el centro.

yes, i am still as screwy as ever, but the fantasy of living in a really bad place to write about it is over. i was sick of the place at about my third month there.

but i sure love latinas. they are the most beautiful, the most passionate, the least predictable, women in the world. now i plan on learning spanish and perhaps going back to juarez (the east-side) *after* i find an it job. i love latinas and mexican women are awefully damn sexy. and i really do like the culture. i had normal women hit on me all the time, but the lack of spanish kept me shy.

Disregard any of my previous posts about El Centro. Very quickly my greeness wore off and I saw the place for the cess-pool of human misery that it truly is. But I have never listened and always had to experiment for myself. That I never got addicted to Cocaine (never even did it once) is amazing. Everyone, yes I said everyone, there seems to be addicted to cocaine. The girls, the bar owners, the expatriats that live there, everyone. It is really a sad thing to watch. My book, if it ever comes out, will document some of the stuff I saw which was stranger than fiction. People can do really f*d up things to each other.

There were some good things, but even people's "goodness" there seemed an illusion after awhile.

BTW, the esteemed bar owner (you insiders all know who he is) doesnt drink or do drugs, which is why he is such an expert at manipulating drink and drugs to his favor.

Do like some of the others here and move to the east-side of Juarez, or better yet, El Paso.

Before any of you start ragging on Mexicans, though, for every bad thing I saw an addicted girl do, I saw worse from American men. Listen to this story. One day, a pregnant girl came to a neighbor's apartment crying. She didnt want to have her baby born while she was on drugs. She was tired of being a puta was her exact words she would tell me later when riding with me to rehab. Well, she asked my neighbor if he would ask if I would pay for her rehab. I agreed, but she would have to wait at his house for about an hour while I waited for my apartment owner's crack-addicted flunky to fix my electricity. Well, I kept checking on her every few minutes. Well my neighbor had gotten horny and put in a porno tape. About twenty minutes later, when I went to check on her, the door was locked. He decided to get in one last minute six dollar f* before she went to rehab. Later that night, in the bar, he bragged how she told him how when she got out she would give him sex for free. I was sure to tell the rehab, so they would rid her of that nonsense before she was rehabilitated.

Anothor funny story, seems that lurkers on this and other boards can take admonishments about avoiding taxi drivers and other ilk (and I say ilk inclusively - as a denizen of El Centro I suppose that made me ilk too) a little too seriously and get themselves in bad situations.

Me and my neighbor were sitting on our stoop drinking beer. Along walks a white guy, looking really nerdy, and looking really lost, looking at a computer printout as he walked. He heard us speaking English, so looked up and asked us how to get to the Pink Lady. He was about twenty blocks away from the Pink and heading in the wrong direction, and if my memory is correct, he was wearing black socks with shorts. Based on his appearance, we suggested he take a cab. Then my neighbor told him he would take him around to alot of bars for five dollars, if the guy prefered.

He triumphantly turned the offer down, saying that he knew that he would get overcharged at the bars because the taxi driver or my neighbor would get a cut. He had read it on either this board or another competing board (I forget which one). I tried explaining to him that it would save him time and effort and that he would have much more fun with my neighbor who would/could take him to the good places faster. All my neighbor really wanted was a free drunk.

He still refused, so we told him where to go and where not to go. We got our jollies by telling him stuff like: go to Casa Colorado two blocks that way, but dont go three blocks or you will be at the canal with the transvestites and they will pick your pockets. Or, go up to Panama, but dont go up past the convenience store to the diagonal alley or the cops, or worse, will get you. Or, take the first right to Panama but be sure not to miss it and take the second right or you will be smack dab on the drug dealer's main alley for dealing drugs. We were having fun, but, at the same time we were telling the truth. If you search some of my old posts, let me tell you I am *really* lucky I wasnt rolled my first month here, I wandered blissfully through some of the most dangerous streets in El Centro.

Last we saw of our friend he was beating a fast path back to El Paso Avenue...an adventure ruined cause he didnt want to pony up a couple extra bucks.

Yet another, "funny" story. When you go to El Centro, look for a little boy of about ten or eleven on the streets near the convenience store and the apartments across from the gym. If he is still alive when you get there I will be suprised. He's a crack addict and a prostitute. I know this because one day when I was photographing him in the restraunt I used to eat at some local Mexicans came in and started telling the bilingual owner all about the boy.

I had lots of candy in my apartment because of the rehab. People in rehab like lots of candy. Well, I ran to my apartment and got him a ten year old's king's ransom in candy as a tip for his photos. Didnt want it. All he wanted was the six dollars we agreed on for his photos- the exact price, incidentally, for the local single dosage of cocaine (called a paper).

Now its not our fault that most of Mexico's population are youths. Its not our fault they are so poor and so desperate, I mean there have always been street urchins - just look at Disney's cartoon Aladin. But, it was kind of like seeing a dead person for the first time - something I've seen on TV, knew existed, but was still freaky.

Speaking of dead people, they found a heroin addict, murdered, wrapped in carpet and bound with cord on the sidewalk of my favorite local cafe one morning about a half hour before I got there. Seems it takes Juarez's finest CSI team about thirty minutes for a homicide. Just think of how much tax dollars we would save if our CSI was this efficient [insert appropriate sarcasm].

I suppose a humerous - yet bitingly sarcastic - "I told you so" post eminating from DickHead is in order here :-)

Well I'm starting to ramble, getting late. I will post more misadventures here, if and only if, some of you lurkers, defend me to the inevitable flamers that flame me for being frank. Seems that any posts other then this way to that massage parlor or that way to this massage parlor ruffles a few feathers.

I've got even more stories to make your skin crawl and reconsider looking for street women/girls. Trust me, the Costa Rica, Jimmy Buffet style expatriated american myth is not Juarez - at least not El Centro. I've lived with drug addicts, street walkers, Americans that shuttle truck drivers to the street walkers, and many other kinds of "undesirables".

And no, I'm not preaching. I stuck my Johnson in most the girls that I later came to know. So I wont be preaching on the immorality of prostitution. Personally, I think it is fine, but I would like to see the girls get a more equitable deal. Of course it aint our fault they blow it all on drugs and dont eat...is it? And for you flamers, dont kid yourself, alot of the bar girls are druggies too.

But, you know what, despite my seeming negativity, I have left El Centro with the conclusion that they are generally good people who were given a bum deal in life (but I guess thats the liberal in me).

I apologize I only lasted about five months in El Centro. I feel kind of like I failed, but I just couldnt bring myself to live there any longer. I have, however, been changed forever. This was perhaps five of the most horrific yet life-changing months in my life and I would gladly do it all over again.

But let me get in one pre-emptive strike against the jerk-offs that always seem to strike anyone down with something interesting to say here. Since there will be adhominen attacks on me.

Yes, my adventure did coincide with me getting a separation. No, I didnt leave my family for drug-addicted putas, as some flamers have suggested. Yes, as is often the case for men, when my marraige went to hell, I started seeing escorts and even went so far as to see Baltimore prostitutes. And yes, I did have this deep-rooted urge to live in a dangerous place as an expatriate and then write about it. When I seperated, I saw that chance. Maybe it was f*d up, but how many of you have lived your dreams, however screwed up they might seem? So a pre-emptive f* you to the flaming MP goers....jesus christ, all the way to Juarez for a "rub-and-tug" deluxe - now that seems loony to me.

JDInd, this is not a flame; it is the best I can do the bring some perspective here.

Quite a few people here knew perfectly well it might be you who wound up wrapped up in a carpet some morning, but you were hellbent on finding out for yourself---which would be fine, except that you seemed to have the attitude it was us who did not know what we were talking about, as though you had discovered more in three weeks than we could possibly know after having been here for years.

Second, you turn up your nose at the MPs when, once again, with all due respect, you have no idea what you are talking about. You apparently hit 3-4, saw some fat girls, and decided---once again---you knew more than anyone else. I've been with tons of chicks who are 8-9s in the MPs and had sex with them that just about knocked the table down. There is no polite way to tell you how off base your comments about the MPs are.

Now your advice is precisely what was suggested to you when the el centro adventure began: get a place a few miles east of el centro where it's mostly families and a person can feel safe in his own house.

As far as living your dreams I've lived with the Mexican people for three years now, made friends with some really *decent* people in Juarez, and even buried my dead there. There are guys here who have also lived or are living in Mexico or Latin America. Some of them have married and raised families there. You act like you are the only one here with enough sense of destiny to take chances, so don't be surprised if other people take offense at that attitude, because, once again, it's a hasty conclusion based upon an insufficient number of facts.

I hope you don't consider this to be a flame, because a part of me admired the way you plunged in headlong into your experience, and your stories are interesting to read. I also suspect it required a lot of finese to get along down there for three months.

You've seen the worst the city has to offer. Why not come back and see the best now?

BorderRat,

Thanks for the reply to my novio/novia dilemma. I'm going back to Cd the first week of August, so I should get a feel on the situation then. And I will look for that same girl.

I now know three ladies there (Cd) "very well" (ie real names etc), and it's fun to walk into each bar, get a beer, turn around, and there they are! They seem to be as happy to see me again as I am to see them. And it becomes much more low key (el cuarto?) each time I go back.

I'll avoid the diamonds,

Thanks!

Thanks, Rat Fink, but don't even look, because you can't just copy someone's map and then stick your head up on the internet as a business. Sooner or later someone is going to give you a legal problem.

Mapsco is offering me 3 year written priviledge to use their map of Juarez for $300, and I think I am going to take them up on it unless I can find the Planos de Cd Juarez map company in the next couple of weeks.

I bought hosting for the web site today and have the domain name. I've got a good start on the book. The maps will come last, but I've got to have them. There is no way I am going to ask guys to fork over hard-earned money until I have good professional quality map segments showing each location in the guide. The ones I started drawing myself looked like <starts with an "s">, believe me.

If any of you guys run across the Planos de Cd Juarez map company on one of your adventures, give me the exact address and I will buy you a steak dinner at El Herraderos.

If you want to see what the map looks like it's here. http://www.juarez-mexico.com/More%20Info/CityMap/city_map.html

Neither the address of the company nor the telephone number are published with the map.

The image that lingers in my mind from JDInd's stories is the guy who runs the bar who doesn't do drugs and actively manipulates the girls until they are addicted to drugs and thus more under his control. If there is such a thing as evil, there's a pretty good candidate. Perhaps he will be reborn in some third world country and become a pregnant 21 year old girl who has been abandoned and has no family to turn to.

Everything about the zona actually reminds me of South Dallas, a poverty sticken area which can produce stories just about as shocking as those from el centro. I happen to know a lot about the place since I had a computer job down there for a couple of years.

I even woke up this morning wondering if publishing the Men's Guide is going to be good karma or bad, because in some small way I will be contributing to that sleazeball's income.

I just have to realize most every guy who will be using it is a decent person just out to have a good time and not abuse the girls. I think all we can do for them is show them a little respect in return for the good times we have with them. It sure would not stop, even if no Americans ever crossed the border. If anything, they would be worse off.

The one thing I am sure JDInd and I could agree on is that things are damn sure not simple down here on the border.

de,

man, the recent discussions here sure got me thinking about a few things regarding your mens guide, so for whatever it's worth, i'm going to throw my 2 cents in.

i guess it has been all these comments about our favorite drug-pushing bar owner that got me thinking about the mens guide you are working on and tuorism in general. i got to thinking about the several posts on this board alluding to **** girls in el centro, and the fact that the us congress recently passed a law saying that people who travel to other countries for the purpose of having sex with minors can be prosecuted here in the states. of course, they have to have lots of proof which would require surveilance, etc. but lets say someone who purchased your mens guide got nabbed by the feds for doing this very thing, could they through the book at you since the guy they nabbed had purshased the mens guide?

now i'm not saying it's a bad idea, and i'm certainly not a legal expert, but it's just food for thought. it seems that you have discussed at length all aspects of this with your mexican contacts, but have you had the same diligence with anyone state side who might know the legal ramifications better? i guess this also goes back to your comment about every guy being descent and just wanting to have a good time. there could always be that one crack pot, and you just need to make sure you got your butt covered from a legal stand point.

don't get me wrong, like i said, i really like the idea, and i am all for free enterprise. if you can make more than a buck or two with this, then more power to you.

since you were looking for opinions and these were the thoughts going through my little pea brain, i just figured i would throw this into the pot (no pun intended, yet).

My first trip to Juarez! My two day report. I paid for parking and paid my .25 to cross the border. After that I took a cab who took me to few bars like the Pink Lady. Nothing in there was my taste. So I walked around for a a hour and a half and saw a bunch of hags and TVs (yuck!) Finally I saw a 6 (a little on the chubby side) We agreed to go upstairs for $20 and I got my nut. Not a bad experience. Later I saw a nice slender 19 y.o. named Elizabeth. She was kind of hard to reach because she was walking around with a guy I thought was her novio. I almost gave up after following her about ten minutes. She spoke no english but I speak enough spanish to get around town. Elizabeth was patient and didn't rush me. It was a good experience and her breasts were magnificent. I even tipped her. Later that night I seen her make a transaction which confirms she is a druggie. Later that night there was a gorgeous 18 year old. 8.5 out of 10. but I couldnt bring myself up to give her a date. She was also hard to reach and I began to think she wasn't "working" The thing is with Juarez is its a first come first basis. and money talks. It is perfectly acceptable to walk up on a girl while she is negotiating or hagling with someone else. Like Dreaming told me the girls on the street are more than likely are involved with drugs. I never visited the massage parlor even though i arrived early enough on day 2. Tijuana is more commercial than Ciudad. In TJ they charge you more for sin ropa. (fully nude) In Juarez they dont. In Juarez 1 out 3 occupants in the panocha market is a man. This is alarming so use extreme caution. Even in some of the reputable bars I saw TVs. I went to a bar and it had 1 obvious looking TV. That alone was enough to make me leave. TJ has more selection and variety. The girls in TJ are also easier to find. At times it is a hunt to find a true bonita seniorita. On my second day I was looking for the chick i couldnt bring myself too get on the first night. she was with some guy the one time I did see her. so I didnt bother. Their was another looker I seen later that night that had 3 dudes with Texas plates interested. I offered $20 but she said $30 I didnt budge. I overheard say in spanish $20 to some guy. I guess she wanted to overcharge me because I'm American. I stood firm with my offer and later balked. Her lost. she should took the sure deal instead of negotiating. Juarez can be the dumps at times. I almost walked away from Juarez without getting laid. That is almost unfathomable in most places outside the U.S. If compared to other places overseas Juarez would give them a bad name. As far as mongering I'd rate it on Japan's level. 2.5 out of 10. This is merely my opinon. And in no way disrespects the city. The town can be dangerous if your not street wise. Juarez is cheaper than TJ but definitely not superior. Anyone got an info on other parts of Mexico? Especially Mexico City? Thanks.

You went to the part of town which is essentially the cess-pool of the city.

As has been pointed out many times by many people, the MPs are the jewels of Ciudad Juarez.

I suspect if you knew where to go your rating would jump to at least a 7 or 8.

Nor is the city dangerous outside of the downtown area.

But I am glad you had a resonably good time anyway.

I've had some sizzling experiences in those *****bars myself, and with the SGs.

But they are not worth it. Too many drugs, hustlers, and corrupt cops down there for me.

still around, though not in el centro. i decided to return to dc.

the final straw was when i met a girl who was **** (17), was convinced/practically-sold by her boyfriend to a certain well-esteemed bar owner who also was my landlord. i was there the day she was "sold". well, she originally never did cocaine, had her money saved by the esteemed bar owner so she could go back to her home city....any guess if she was addicted to cocaine by the time i left? any guesses on if she ever saw the saved money?

the image that lingers in my mind from jdind's stories is the guy who runs the bar who doesn't do drugs and actively manipulates the girls until they are addicted to drugs and thus more under his control. if there is such a thing as evil, there's a pretty good candidate.
<snip>
i just have to realize most every guy who will be using it is a decent person just out to have a good time and not abuse the girls. i think all we can do for them is show them a little respect in return for the good times we have with them. it sure would not stop, even if no americans ever crossed the border. if anything, they would be worse off.

the one thing i am sure jdind and i could agree on is that things are damn sure not simple down here on the border.

okay, more fodder for dickhead (feel free to flame me on this one, i deserve it - just realize i really tried to do the right thing, regardless of how looney it was)

amount spent on trying to rehabilitate three women: 1500

amount blown buying supplies for clinic: >1500

amount buying clothes for girls that then sold it: > 2000

amount blown trying to help a rather ****d drug-addicted mexican american girl reunite with mom and go to *private* school > 4000 (shes back in el centro presumably doing drugs again)

days for one rehab girl to go back to drugs: -7 (she sent a letter to her favorite scumbag - owner of hotel verde a week before getting out of rehab).

i see, though, that even though i might be loony, im not unique. in the baltimore board, a guy is considering sending a girl to rehab. well, if any of you guys do, remember, that helping is good, but don't expect it to change anything.

de,

man, the recent discussions here sure got me thinking about a few things regarding your mens guide, so for whatever it's worth, i'm going to throw my 2 cents in.

i guess it has been all these comments about our favorite drug-pushing bar owner that got me thinking about the mens guide you are working on and tuorism in general. i got to thinking about the several posts on this board alluding to **** girls in el centro, and the fact that the us congress recently passed a law saying that people who travel to other countries for the purpose of having sex with minors can be prosecuted here in the states. of course, they have to have lots of proof which would require surveilance, etc. but lets say someone who purchased your mens guide got nabbed by the feds for doing this very thing, could they through the book at you since the guy they nabbed had purshased the mens guide?

now i'm not saying it's a bad idea, and i'm certainly not a legal expert, but it's just food for thought. it seems that you have discussed at length all aspects of this with your mexican contacts, but have you had the same diligence with anyone state side who might know the legal ramifications better? i guess this also goes back to your comment about every guy being descent and just wanting to have a good time. there could always be that one crack pot, and you just need to make sure you got your butt covered from a legal stand point.

you are quite reasonable in your concern. many of the women that are supposedly 18 are in fact minors - even if they dont look like it (not trying to claim i know mexico - just my experience there over last six months - and i really dived into socializing with mexicans as well as whites). the age of consent in the state mexico city is in is 12 (legal - im not saying thats ethical!) - see age of consent web site. most mexican's in juarez mistakenly believe its 18. but remember, mexico follows napoleanic law, you have to prove yourself innocent. moreover, the laws are kind of convoluted regarding sex. basically, it seems like what the judge decides is the law. the us law seems convoluted too.... but i will say one thing, though, based on my experience in el centro, where i got to know and observe several **** girls, i will say that i see the purpose of the laws. too bad our governments (mexico & us) don't devote their efforts to helping these girls instead of busting (often unknowing) clients. just my 2 cents.

That nice room across the street was where I lived. Did you know that he ran a 13 year old girl? Did you know that he repeatedly punched a girl in her face for spilling beer on his pool table (I wasn't there that night otherwise I'd be in jail right now)?

One day, the son-of-a-***** personally thanked me for the way I was with the Mexican people. What did he offer? Credit for beer, drugs, and his sisters. Never mind a free beer, he'd give me credit. Wow, what a nice guy.

i certainly have thought about this matter. see this page on the new web site: http://www.juarez-mens-guide.com/home/options/street_girls/street_girls.html

(for those of you who don't have time, the entire page is a warning not to mess with the street girls and about el centro in general.)

i am working on the book form as we speak. i had planned to just omit the street girl option from the book entirely, but i think a page of stern warnings should keep me out of trouble---warnings about **** girls in particular, the prevelance of drugs addicts in the area, and the accompanying general dangers of being in the area.

(in fact i just wrote the opening sentence: "if i were to see a vampire walking sideways up a wall in the red light district of juarez i would not be the least bit surprised.")

another concern is the safety of the book buyers in general. i don't want some kook in shaboygan, wi, filing suit against me because he went to mexico on my recommendation and got injured or harmed in some way. therefore, there will be a terms of agreement contract drawn up by an el paso attorney before the first guide is sold...(yet another expense which will make the first order all the more satisfying...)

This is not true. The age of consent between two minors is age 12 - 17.

The age of consent if one of the "consentees" is 18+ is 18+.

My lawyer happens to be a former state prosecutor and I asked him this specifically after someone posted this in the Juarez forum about a year ago. It was and is erroneous, and they too cited the Age of Consent website as well.

I admire you for what you tried to do JD pero in most cases in the zona de Juarez, you're wasting your time and money...I don't know why it is over there. Here in Nuevo Laredo there is not that much of an obvious drug problem.

Don't give up though. come and try Nuevo Laredo for a weekend or longer and xperience the difference. That would give yu additional fodder for your book as you culd see the extreme differences.

Just my two cents DE, but it might be better and just as legal to have a disclaimer in the front of the book saying in essence that the purchaser releases you....yada yada and that should be sufficient for the purpose.

I think JDInd has taken quite enough heat about his decision to move to el centro for three months, and the fact he spent a few thousand dollars trying to help some fellow human beings speaks to his credit. It doesn't make him a fool. I suspect he knew the odds were poor of anything working to help these girls. The fact that he had the financial means to try and help them also speaks to his skills as a computer professional.

This weekend was spent working on the men's guide. I barely left the house and didn't even think about pussy until Sunday afternoon. Went by Brenda's and gave one of my tiny little favoritas a good 3-5 orgasm experience after a nice cool shower. It had to be 100 degrees here today. She's about a 6-7 in looks, but I like her attitude and see her often.

She tried to be mad at me for picking a different girl there the past week and kept pointing to another girl when I first arrived. "I would say, no, 'Tu!'", and she would reply, "No, 'ella'!". She got up from behind the desk and was walking out the front door. I thought was really ticked and was going to leave me sitting there, but she turned and said, "Vente!" Well, that means "come on", but you generally say "vente" to a dog you want to come with you, or a little kid who's not listening.

Then she gave me one word answers to all my questions about her kids, etc., in the room, whereas she normally talks a lot. No matter, I thought, all she has to do is let me get a hold of her. Her little chilly attitude didn't bother me one bit. There is some part of her that wants to regain perceived lost territory, I surmised, and she's going to be hot as ever once we get down to business.

That's just how it worked out, too.

(I knew she wasn't *that* mad, or she never would have taken me over to the nicer rooms next door. They have showers and nice decor and are supposed to cost me more, but she's never even asked for anything additional.)

Like a total fool I left my $500 digital camera in the room and was about gone when she stuck her head out of the door, called my name, and dangled the camera. What a sweet kid. She could have hid it after I left, denied ever seeing it, and then sold it for a few hundred bucks. It would have been a couple of hours before I noticed it missing.

If you do like it, please dont put it elsewhere or provide links to it, as I have submitted it to a major men's magazine already.

And for those of you who wonder, yes, it is actually like this in El Centro as far as I could see.

Thanks, Geof, but I need street maps already annotated.

There has at least been a ray of light. I finally contacted Senora Estrada tonight, the lady who has the map company. Her maps have been selling quite well on the JTG website. I explained to her I needed wholesale prices on the maps and that I would continue to promote them on the web site. I also asked for permission to scan and use map segments on the web site and in printed materials in return for promoting the map. When we turned to the internet, she got kind of lost.

At this point, she put her American husband on the phone, and he did understand and thought what I had in mind was a good idea. They, and their daughter, are going to check out the Juarez Tour Guide web site and make a decision as to whether or not they want to help me.

I think they will, but you never know...Mapsco's offer of $300 might be worth it if they will give me the map in digital form, so either way I'm going to have maps.

I searched the archives and havent found directions to any of the mp's except some driving directions to one that seems kind of distant. Are any of the mp's reasonably close to the bridges? Is anyone willing to give directions, or point me to where directions can be obtained?

I've been living here (Las Cruces) for 2 years, and haven't yet tried the scene in Juarez. I have a feeling the mp's will leave me with a better taste in my mouth than the bars. I used to know the Philladelphia scene pretty well, but I can't afford it any more when I go back.

i hope i'm not wearing the subject out, but many of you have expressed interest in the men's guide both here and in private correspondence.

well, i have some serious questions to ask you.

background: tonight i shelled out $500 for a quality black and white laser jet printer and toner carteridge. then i came home and did a real cost analysis on what's involved in printing a 60 page book, with 1/2" binder, along with a complete map of the city (every monger really needs one), and the box it's going to have to get shipped in. (bubble wrap envelopes might be an option but cost about the same.)

here's the bottom line:

there is no way i can bring this book to you for less than $34.99, and it will be in black and white because color printing is astronomical when you factor in a $1200 color printer (minimum) which uses 4 toner cartridges which cost $100 each.

but, here's the bright side.

this gets you into the member's only web site, which *does* have color pictures of all of the exteriors and reviews of many locations. by the time you are on location with the black and white photo in the book you already know what to look for. at that point in time it's just there for the utilitarian purpose of helping you locate the establishment.

all the guide contains is the information you need to find the place: a photo of the exterior (more than one in some locations), address, telephone, etc., a map segment of the surrounding streets, and directions to get there. (large area maps are published at the beginning of each area in the book so you always know how the location map segment fits into the big picture.)

nor is the title of the book even "juarez men's guide", but just "guide to juarez".

here's my thinking. when you are actually there, all you want is "how to get there" information in a book which is not going to attract a lot of attention should the police peek at it or on the part of anyone else who sees it. you can get the in-depth stuff on the internet at the web site *before you go*. the book has a purely practical purpose.

each location will have: map of the exterior, and directions. the *****bars are covered, of course, and so are 15 mps. the street girls are not! they can be discussed on line on the web site. (besides who needs directions to find them?)

the bulk of the mps are divided into three areas: area 1 contains 5; area 2 containes 4; area 3 contains 2; and the other 4 are off isolated by themselves and covered separately. there are a couple more mps i'm not going to cover because they are just out of the way and not worth the trouble of finding them (imho). perhaps later just in the interest of inclusivity.

directions have to *begin* somewhere, so the categories for each location are: 1) from the free bridge (driving); 2) from the villa manport hotel (driving and walking/bus); 3) from avenida juarez (walking/bus); 3) from the last location in the area in which the mp belongs (driving and walking/bus), and 4) from the decoy destination used to shake a cab driver (walking), if a decoy destination is available.

that way you can find the place as an individual location, or just follow the area guide to hit 4-5 mps pretty guick until you find the kind of girl you are looking for.

so my questions are many: 1) does $34.99 sound reasonable for this kind of information; 2) if the black and white photos in the printed guide are big enough for you to recognize the building does it matter they are not in color; 3) do the direction categories make sense to those of you who know the city pretty well; and 4) do you like the idea of having a private web site exclusively about juarez where we can further share information?

now i think i am going to check out jd's short story for a little diversion...

DE - for $34.98 - that's only 1 good blowjob which is a real bargain in my estimation. (Now 2 or 3 blowjobs - Id have to think about it). I'm not frequenting the scene anymore but sure like to keep in touch with the posts here. This board opened a new world for me.

Anyway, maybe jd whatever, will fork up some start-up capital for you. Best of luck.

jTownJoe I'd second this. Or instead of PDF, just a full featured members only website. Password protected, and we can print out only what interests us. I would certainly have little need for a full printed book.
Some people might prefer a printed hard copy, so you could set up a two tier structure: $20-$25 for website access, $35 for website access with printed book. With a website only version your only overhead is getting the information/rights. No fixed costs.

In the Seattle area, a couple of members contribute their knowledge for the common good, not to make a profit or recover their expenses. Why don't you just post your information since this is a bulletin board, not a sales forum? No offense intended, just a question. I'm sure lots of members would benefit from it.

Wmtell,

Of all the people who have posted in the Juarez section of this board, DE has contributed as much if not more than anyone. The guide he is referring to is something tangible when in Juarez. The city can be confusing for newbies. Also, some of the massage parlors are very difficult to find. This is a way to have easy access to the information with you. Believe me when I say that the pictures will be needed in some cases.
DE thanks for what you are trying to do.

Iím new to this so go easy on me. First Iíve rented a house in J-Town for 2 years. I say rented not ďlived inĒ because I lived in El Paso. The house in J-Town was for my mongering activities. The first one I rented was just east of the zona and the second was several miles south of the zona. That one was a lot nicer but not as covenant. This is all past tense as after 9/11 it got to time consuming on the bridge. Also I did something I swore Iíd never do again. I got a steady girl friend in El Paso. So when my lease was up I gave up the house in J-Town. I was a regular at Ano Nouvo, the Indian Princess and Casa. Got to know many of the girls pretty well. Took many of them home for all nighters or sometimes to dinner or drove them home after work saving them the cost of a cab. Before I had the houses to use I would use the sex hotels over on Ave 16 de Sept. the El Rancho was one, the cost was about $20.00 then. It has cable TV with an X rated channel . You drive in and park you car in a garage that is attached to the room. Someone comes and collects the money and you close the garage door and go into the room. The is one further down on behind the domed shaped building on the north side of the street (canít remember the name) Iíd used also, it had Jacuzzi in some of there rooms and they cost $35.00. Iíd use the Jacuzzi rooms if I were to stay until morning. If I was only going to use it for a couple of hours I go to the EL Rancho. I never saw any post about these hotels. If you know your going to stay all night or your going to stay for a couple of days the Villa Manport is a good choice. But if your not sure your going to hook up with some thing you like and if you donít you wouldnít stay in J-Town this hotel is probable a better choice.

I donít do the bar seen much any more, but since Iíve been reading this fourm Iíve tried a couple of MPs. To date Iíve only found maybe a 7 in the Mps. In my oppion the girls in the bars a better quality if you use looks as you criteria. As I said I only tried a couple so I could be off on that. Because of the time on the bridge and a steady girl friend my J-town mongering is much much less then before. But once in a while !!!

I concur with Gonzo: Dreaming Eagle has been a huge contributor to the CJ section of this board. If you've never been to Juarez, especially if you don't speak Spanish, access to information that includes maps and pictures would be a big help. This board can't really handle that type of data.

That being said, through directions provided on WSG by DE, I found my way to Brenda's MP. After walking across the border and an additional 10 blocks, I presented a piece of paper on which I had written the major intersection next to Brenda's to a taxi driver. He read it and nodded, One of the few Spanish words I know is "Cuanto", how much, and he replied, "Cinco dolares"...$5.

He dropped me off at Hermanos Escobar and Avenida de Las Americas. Brenda's is on the 2nd floor of a shopping mall that's just to the west of that intersection, on the north side of Hermanos Escobar. The door is at the far left of the mall. There is a sign in the door, but the letters are 1/2 inch high....and the door was open, so you couldn't see the sign anyway!

Instead of the customary $20 for 1/2 hour, I was quoted $30 for a full hour...that probably makes more sense for an old guy anyway. Only one girl available, a bit older and heavier than I prefer, but she looked better than going back out into the 95 degree heat to track down another MP!

This woman was a delight! A GFE, starting with DFK, tongues playing, then she moved down to nipples, and then further down to really get my attention. BBBJ without being asked, ball licking, and an occasional pass of finger around the rim. Very enthusiastic.

On with the condom, cowgirl, doggie, and then mish to finish. I didn't ask about anal, but I suspect that would have been possible as well. A great attitude and lots of smiles from this lady. She really wanted to please, and knew how to do it. A shower and back into the heat of the day, but this time with a smile on my face. I definitely got my hour's worth and $30 worth.

Once again, DE's advice on how to conduct yourself in CJ and patient detail with directions was utilized successfully.

So if you want to see them there you have to go after 12:00 when some of the strip bars close. However, by the time the girls change and collect there money from the tickets they get for the drinks you buy them it is more like 12:30. A lot of them also go to Noa Noas if they leave work early and want to party. The Acapulco is on the same street as Casa and Ano Nuevo only it a half a block west of Juarez street. Good hunting

DEs experience tells me the girls in the MPs are very similar to the girls in the bars. Its been my experience if you become a regular at a bar and go with a girl more then a couple of times sheíll claim you. After that the other girls will stay away. If one does try to move in itís not unuaslly to see a cat fight. I havenít had a lot of experience at MPs but there is apparently some of the same jealousies there. But it seams we have more control in the MPs as we can pick what ever girl we want. But as DEs experience shows there is consequence

Actually, those of you who know me know well that I answer personal emails and post detailed directions to individual places all of the time here.

As far as posting the information for free somewhere, I don't think the person who suggested this really thought the matter through. Hundreds of hours are involved in gathering this much information, plotting the locations on maps, typing in the info, laying out the format, and purchasing the necessary equipment to actually put a book into production---not to mention the time and expense of creating a password protected web site so updates will always be available. (I forgot about the hassles and expense of setting up an emerchant account for internet transactions.)

This project has pretty much called upon everything I have learned in 25 years in the computer business and is an enormous amount of effort, I assure you. I figure it's a product someone is going to get if they really want it---or they can just pass on it--- and that there is nothing wrong with asking a little something in return for your work, provided you are providing accurate information.

Unfortunately, it is not possible to protect my work using a file download, because it would quickly become an email attachment. It would certainly solve a lot of problems but just won't work.

90% of all of the information in the book is *already* posted here in previous posts if anyone would care to spend a few hours digging them up and "putting the pieces together". There is nothing secret about locations, telephone numbers, and hours of business, etc. It's the pulling it all together which has value along with the exterior photos. I'm not really a very commercial kind of person, but I guess I felt if I could keep the cost down to around the price of one single girl everyone could benefit, including myself, yes.

However, this is not a sales forum, as someone has said. I have been trying to make sure I'm on target asking for these pointers from you guys, granted, but the suggestions are in now and this will be my last post on the subject unless it's to reply to questions until it's ready (two more weeks).

Once it is ready, I assure you I'm not going to be here posting "buy...buy...buy!" I'm just not that kind of person.

Thanks to all of you for your suggestions. Write me at webmaster@juarez-mens-guide.com if you have anything to discuss on this subject. I'm going to shut up about it henceforth.

To the poster who was at Brenda's, after all that effort I thought you might like to know you were within walking distance of two more MPs. Had you continued west on Hermanos Escobar you would have come to a small park on your right. At the end of the park, on the other side of the street (south side), you would have seen MP El Encanto. You could not have missed it. Another block west, on the north side of the street, at the light at Calle Panama, across the street from the Hotel Villa Manport, you would have seen a small strip center. The dark glass door is MP Sirena. You can get a coupon for a $30 session at Sirena here:

http://www.juarez-mexico.com/Coupons/SirenaCoupon.jpg

The normal price is $40.

El Encanto at Hermanos Escobar and Txcala has really really improved. They have gone up from $25 to $30, but they had three really slim little treats in the line-up----one of the Carina from the old MP Sirena days, meaning 2-3 years ago. (I mention this because some of you have mentioned her in your posts and inquired about her whereabouts.) She goes by Perla now. Great little bod with firm tits and a nice attitude. Her mouth dropped when she discovered I can actually say something half-way intelligent in Spanish now. I told her about the book project, and she is eager for me to meet Sr. Munoz who owns the place. She said he might want to offer a coupon.

If you are in a taxi just ask to go to the El Herradero Steak House on Hermanos Escobar. Every cab driver in the city knows the place. (The El Herradero offers one of the best dollar values on steak dinners you will find in the city, by the way. )

One of those bars is El Vaquero (The Cowboy) in the market at the end of 16 de Septiembre. The girls line up on the left side of the building and will dance with you for 50 cents a dance. I can't remember the exact location, but if you go to the market and ask around anyone can point this bar out to you.

But you are in a purely Mexican bar and will likely be the only gringo there. The two times I went everyone was very friendly, but I have learned than in Mexican bars all it takes is one cholo to take exception to your presence to present a pretty big problem.

A much more up-scale bar where you are not likely to have this problem is Papallon's on V. Guerrero near the baseball park at Ave. de las Americas (within one block or so of that intersection). It's a very well lit place with lots of pretty girls working behind the bar and a more affluent clientele.

But I think Spanish is pretty much a pre-requisite if you are going to get to first base in a Mexican bar. You can't just offer money for sex, because you might offend some girl who never dreamed of selling herself. You will also have to deal with the men there. If you do speak Spanish, even half-ass, you are not going to find it hard to attract a nice girl.

Just be careful.

jTownJoe John I just read DE answer to your question. I wasn't aware any working girls went to the bars he refers. But he brings up a point I didn't address. When the girls finish work they usually change there cloths. If you don't know the girl from seeing her at her work be carefull before you offer money as she may not be a working girl and be very offended. A lot of the girls that hang out at the Acapulco are not working girls. So be carefull

I went a bit away from Avenida Juarez so as not to ge the first taxi offer to take me to "pretty girls." $5 for the ride. I watched where the cab went so I could walk if I wanted to. It was further away than I thought. Walkable, but I don't recommend it in the hot sun. I'm only vaguely remembering the street names, but from avenida Juarez you go left on something like "Mejia" (someone correct me here) it the 3rd or 4th cross street once over the bridge. This goes for a while, makes a turn, and becomes part of Hermanos Escobar. Walk from there to Panama. About a half hour walk I'm guessing. Or dont be so cheap and get a cab.

I tried Encanto first, but there were only two girls, both older and heavier than is my taste. Then tried Sirena. The door was locked, and I started to leave, but then someone opened it and let me in. About five girls there nothing spectacular, but a couple were good enough to tempt me from the heat. Went with a girl $30, I think her name was Racquel. I'll spare you the details except to say that a small tip ($5) as we were dressing, went a long way.

I walked back, (will the MP call a cab for you? I didn't see any in the area, parked or driving.) Like I said, about a half an hour. It was 7:30 by then and cooling off, so it wasn't too bad. $.25 back into the US and a 45 minute drive home.

Total spent: $43.40. If I was more broke I could have parked closer to the free bridge, where I've usually been able to find free parking, that and walking both ways: $35 (the tip was too worth it to skimp on.)

Comparison: The majority of my experience is with Asian MP's in Philadelphia. There the rate was $150 (I made more then.) I've always loved asia women and the asian body type, Compared to this experience, the Mexican hospitality was far better. Most AMP's don't like to let you choose, the girls are in the back, and they get one for you before you have a chance to ask. Most of the girls I've had there are pretty tepid, and will only do a couple positions, and once the feel like they've done thier part, they're done. This was much more accomadating.

My only real complaint was the massage tables, which are real massage tables, and too narrow for some of my favorite stuff.

(The El Herradero offers one of the best dollar values on steak dinners you will find in the city, by the way. ) Does this place take American money? The location didn't seem very "touristed".

I saw a girl from Brenda's at El Vaquero one night, and she told me some of the girls went there afer work sometimes. (She is now married by the way and is no longer working.)

I suggested Papallon's more as a place to meet local girls. Tamara at Felina's once told me she liked that bar, and I do, too.

But *most* of the MP girls have kids and go home after work, and I agree that you had best be very careful offering any financial incentive for sex in Mexican bar you are not familiar with...:)

i went to massaje encanto last week. i was quoted $50 for an hour of massage and relation, but was able to bargain it down to $40. i then chose perla as my therapist. in the room, she asked for $15 more for a blowjob with condom, along with sex. being so horny at the time, i gave her the $15 as a way of a tip. now my question is: does $40 generally pay for both massage and sex or just massage. needless to say, after reading the forum here, i feel that i have been ripped off by perla and will probably not go to encanto again. since sirena is just a couple of doors down and they give you a drink along with sex and massage for $40, i would rather go there.

I have a question for you guys that live in Juarez about paying your bills. When I had a house there I always had a problem paying the utility bills. The use of sending checks through the mail is unheard of . The writing of checks is unheard of. Everything is done with cash. I had to go to a bank or S Mart to pay these bills in cash. And if the bill was due in less then 4 days they would not accept the payment. Then I would have to go to the office of that utility to pay that bill. It was all very inconvenient. Here in the US I donít even write many checks. I use the web to pay most of my bills. Itís more convenient and much much faster. I know itís really a 3rd world country but I found this type of thing to make it almost impossible for me to maintain a residence part time there. Iím always pressed for time and thatís probably was my real problem. I asked a bar owner how they paid there bills. She said she had a trusted employee go pay them with cash. Doing business there must be very difficult and different there. We sure take for granted some of the conveniences we have here in the US. How do you guys handle this?

When lived in Juarez, the only bill I had to pay was the electric which came every 2 months and that was done at the CFE office. The butane dealer was right across the street. No phone and no cable. Now, living in Nuevo Laredo, it's about the same. Pay the lights in cash every two months at CFE office. We have natural gas over here and that is paid at the Gas office. The water is paid every two months at the Water office in the Pallacio, Cable TV/Internet is paid at the Cable Office the first of every month. SKY satellite TV is paid at the bank into SKY's accoun. TELMEX, our telephone provider is paid either at the main office in Centro or over the internet with my Bancomer Visa card. It takes a bit of getting used to but in the end, it works out ok. takes us about an hour to do the bill paying each month and then we can sit back and relax.

Other options you have are paying at the supermarkets nd at some of the money exchange houses. I've never heard of the 4 day rule, at least over here.

Another thing that is a little hard to get used to is that there is no grace period on your bills. If it says fecha de corte 01 agosto 03, service will be cut on that date! Never happened to me thank god but it happens.

Speaking of mail; In Juarez, we were never able to recieve any, even a letter mailed from El Paso to Juarez never showed. Here in NL, it takes about two weeks for a letter mailed from northern Texas to arrive, but it does arrive....Strange!

there are much better places, everywhere is hit or miss, never know till look inside, but $30 is the norm.

I went to Encanto several months ago. I paid $30 for an hr. But was very rushed and I too was asked for more money if I wanted a condom bj. I think she wanted $10 more. I always tip afterwards but I refused. I give a tip based on the service I get. Not for the service I might or might not get. She was only about a 5 (the best there at the time I went). I canít remember her name. I got the job done in about 20 min. and left. I thought Iíd go back again some time in the future because these situations are very fluid. Things usual change from week to week. From reading the recent post here it seams its gotten worse. Maybe its not worth trying again being there are so many other places to go to. I think that the Juarez guru, DE had a good experience there as he gets special treatment because he is so well known and has developed a relationship with many of the girls. Just like in the regular world of relationships these girls talk about there ďdates ď. If your presence becomes known youíll develop a good or not so good reputation. I think DE has developed a very good reputation . I donít go often enough to have a reputation , good or bad. I think that is the case with many of us. We just all need to keep posting our experiences at the various places we go and will all benefit from the information.

Perla used to be "Carina" at MP Sirena a couple of years ago. I had a pretty good go with her weekend before last, but she is a bit harder than she used to be. Still a pretty sweet girl, though, who didn't even start that upselling crap with me. Thank goodness upselling is uncommon and not the usual in the MPs.

Regarding the damn utility bills, I'd say I like 90% of living in Mexico, and paying the utility bills is among the 10% of things that irritate me now and then. Let's just say the instant I arrive on Friday nights about that time of the month, if the bills have arrived, I don't even finish carrying my things upstairs. I get right back in the car and drive to Futurama to pay the bills there.

I don't think they have their act together very well on the time rule. (It's five days for the gas and 3 days for the electricity, or vice versa. Can't remember because it seems to be more up to the cashier on duty than anything else.) Also, weekend days are not counted, and neither are holidays. One time, the week of Independence Day I was there 7 days before the due date, but because weekends don't count and the holiday didn't count, they would not accept payment.)

If they do not accept it at Futurama, I then head to Hipermart, further from the house but vastly more likely to accept the payment. Last month they let me pay both the gas and electricity even though it was only three days before the due date, including the weekend days. That was really something to celebrate, until last weekend when I woke up wanting a cup of coffee and noticed I had no gas. I had to buy an electric burner and am still using it.

If I strike out at both places, then, before Carmalita, the building manager, died I would pay her $5 for each bill. Being a smart old owl she had already paid her bills in person the day they arrived, or the following day at the latest, so it was an extra trip for a 90 year old woman who would have to stand in line with 100s of people in the heat. She did it more as a favor to me than for the money. Like so many other things this lady did for me, I will have to find someone else now that she has passed. Fortunately, the owner's wife offered to go get the gas turned back on this coming Monday.

In fact, some of the biggest laughs you can have with the people in Juarez is to talk about what a pain in the ass paying the bills is for everyone. "When I see the bill, whoosh!" Carmalita once said. "Yo voy!" (I go!) It's one of those things you either laugh about or stay angry about, and I guess it's easier to laugh, as I am now, a bit surprised but delighted the subject came up tonight.

Border Jumper is sooooo right about them cutting off the service promptly. You might scoot by a day or so before you get disconnected, but going any longer would be a miracle. One neigbor could not pay, and the electricity was gone the day after the due date, and the gas was gone two days later.

Another funny thing about the bills in my apartment building. I pay the gas bill under the name of "Teresa Martinez", who, Carmalita told me, lived in my apartment for a while in 1998. It says apartment 6, which is correct. I pay the electricity bill under another name, and it says apartment 10, because a long time ago my apartment was #10, which means that account is even older.

One neighbor noticed his hot water heater would go on anytime someone washed clothes in the big sink by the stairs, so whoever lived in there was paying for the hot water everyone used to wash their clothes. When I lived upstairs in a different apartment, if I overloaded the wiring in the apartment, all of the hallway lights would also go out, which meant I was paying to keep the building lit at night, which is why the wiring got overloaded in the first place.

At least I know I am paying only my own bills in this apartment, because they correspond exactly to the amount I use the gas or electricity.

Still, for $200 a month and about another $25 in bills, with a locked garage for the car, the apartment is a heck of a deal. I have never seen any deal quite like it anywhere else in the city. So I just blow off these things as part of living in Mexico. The descrepiencies are more due to people losing track of things and workman taking shortcuts with the wiring and plumbing than any desire on anyone's part to rip anyone off. When I complained about the hallways lights, for instance, the problem was fixed the next week. Sure, it's nice to be able to pay my bills online here in the States, but I can't have a good stretch after breakfast here on Saturday morning and walk two blocks and get some great pussy. So I'll take Mexico any day.

I'm going back to CD Juarez this weekend, with great expectations. I am a bit put off by the denigrations of el Centro, I guess because i know what it is and what it is not.

You will not find your soul mate there.

You will not find the love of your life there.

What you MAY find is a woman who just flames all of your senses when you are with her, and if you can do the same for her for that night or hour, or try Vale de Pena.

At any rate, your assessment is sure right on in my opinion. I have certainly been critical of the situation in el centro, but, on balance, I should also say I've had some hot times there, too. For about the first six months I was here, Club Panama, Casa, and The Pink Lady where all I knew about, and I looked forward to going every weekend. I also find myself looking forward to going back to get some information for an on going project. There will be three girls I am looking for in particular---one of which I know is still down there from posts here on the forum.

Most MPs will call a cab for you, but it may be a long wait until the cab actually shows up! From Sirena's, if you were to walk east a few blocks, you will come to a park on the north side of Hermanos Escobar. There are usually a few taxis parked there.

On H. Escobar all you would have to do is probably stand there 5 minutes and flag one down. I just finished reviewing 15 MPs and all are within a short walk to a major street. I can't think of a single exception. So, if worrying about getting back in a taxi is on your mind, don't even worry about it.

Went to Loryedís a couple of days ago. All the girls were groda except one. Donít remember her name But very nice. Not outstanding but maybe a 6 and very sweet. No rush, gave me a full hour of fun. The price is reasonable $25.00. I gave her a $5.00 tip and she was very happy. This is my second trip there the first time there were only heavys there and I left without participating. It seems there have mostly heavy girls there most of the time but the one I went with was very nice for the price.

Can someone explain to me what ďgirl friend treatmentĒ is. Kissing, bbbj, no condom sex, exactly what. My girl friend gives my all of that plus make me coffee in the morning. I donít think it means that. Iíve seen the phrase referenced many times but I not sure what it means exactly. I wonder if it has different meaning for different people. The girls Iíve been with in the MP very seldom will kiss. In the bars after I got to now the girl really well they seamed to love kissing. I once read that the working girls reserved kissing for there real boyfriends and husbands and considered kissing very personal while sex was just business

Went to Sirenas for a lunch time quickie. The girl that I picked was Lili - not a super hard body, but was OK. She gave a good massage and tried her best to fuck my brains out on the table. Cost was $40 - an overall really good value as the place was clean and the girl was pleasant.

Just got back from Juarez and wish I didn't live 2,000k away because it was super!

Walked across the border, took a cab to Villa Man Port, met Efrin who I called by name and he was surprized. Asked if I knew Ron so I said yes. He was really helpful with all my questions, mostly caused by being a dumb gringo that can't speak Spanish.

Walked across the street to Sirene's and chose Nancy, a little rotund and has a great attitude. Great interior (the building and Nancy, I suppose), a Beatles collection playing overhead, overall a perfect experience. She accepted 30 with the discount card.
Afterward, had dinner a block away at restaurant Mitla. Fantastic steak with mesquite roasted tortillas and beer for 10.

Next AM watched the shop open from my hotel room. Three of the most beautiful girls had been standing outside the building so I assumed they were in the shade waiting for the sports medicine clinic next door to open. Their boyfriends dropped them off, and in one case, the two of them made out and groped each other for several minutes before he drove off. I thought the guys would have more feelings of possession after learning what they were there for. When the owners arrived at 11:30, they all went in. Two Mexican guys followed so I ran across to get # 3- Vanessa. Sweet girl, stunning body. Asked for 40 and I showed another discount card. She said something like "Mayora" ( I have no idea what that means) nodded her head and she left with my 30.

Upon her return she gave me a bottle of water and after a so so back rub, I gave her a glorious one, had her moaning, then she rolled over so I could do the front, so I obliged her. In both cases I tipped the girl 5 and they seemed happy with that.

Left for the border having spent a total of 130 on two marvelous girls, a great dinner, a stay in a fine hotel and my transportation from and back to the border. I took a taxi to the hotel, and a bus for .50 back.

The room was 33.00 not 28.00. I double checked with Efrin and he said 28 was a special.

I have to confess that I could have not had such a successful trip without Dreaming Eagles advice and advance work so I take back my earlier comment about selling that info. DE has done a lot of work way beyond just giving advice that can make the difference between a fantastic occasion and a disaster. I initially tried walking from the border along Ave. Juarez and turning R onto Martinez to find the spots as was suggested elsewhere but found myself in a scary neighborhood and headed back to Ave. Juarez and grabbed a cab to the hotel. Whew, close call for the gringo.

I won't be likely to get back down there soon, but when I do I'll get a copy of the guide!

Thanks for all the suggestions.

Do you think the Tijuana mp scene is as good as Juarez's? The mps beat the heck out of the streets and the bars as far as I'm concerned.

No. There are no verbs ending in -or in Spanish, only in -ar, -ir, and -er. This verb is valer, or "to be worth." It is normally used in the third person. Worth the trouble = "mas vale de la pena." (literally, worth more than the pain).

After visiting Guadalajara (and Zacatecas, Durango, and Santiago), I headed to Ciudad Juarez via autobus (Chihuahuenses), arriving on July 20, 2003, and staying for 2 days before flying back to Chicago. Much to the advice of previous posts, I stayed at the Hotel Villa Man Port near the intersection of Calle Panama and Av. Hermanos Escobar. From the main bus terminal near the airport, the cab ride is about $80.00 Pesos ($7.62 USD). I met Ephraim, the hotel manager. He is a very nice guy and if you have any questions he's more than happy to help you out. He speaks very good English and he did have coupons available for Serenaís Massage, but it was closed being Sunday, re-opening on Monday. I did not go there this trip, but will very soon. The room was $660 Pesos ($62.00 USD) for two nights. Breakfast is also served in the attached restaurant and was very good.

I did try massage El Encanto next to (upstairs from) Papaguyos bar, about one block east of the hotel. There were 6 girls there about 4 pm Sunday afternoon. After careful consideration I chose Lorena who is 26 years old and single. She is very slim and toned very nicely, small firm breasts, pretty facial features, about 5 foot 5 inches, and not more that 115 lbs wet. She held my hand and led me to her room. The ďmassageĒ portion was $300.00 Pesos ($28.57 USD) and her tip was $20.00 dollars. Do not expect a GFE, but it is possible if you are respectful and sincere with your chosen partner (I tried this technique in Guadalajara and it worked very well).

I took a shower first and when I was done, she dried me off very softly and made sure all areas were dried thoroughly. After drying me, she proceeded to remove all her clothes and directed me to the massage table. Since this was the first encounter with Lorena, she took her time and was very sensual towards me. She rubbed in all the right spots making sure of the response before continuing to different areas. She was very pleasing and her touch was very passionate. After about 20 minutes into the massage, the fun began. She started giving me a CBJ to which I responded with a question if she liked oral (on her). She said "Si." Lorena has a sweet smelling pussy that just dripped cum as she became more excited. She became so hot that she just about tore my ears off as she planted her tight pussy on my now very throbbing member. She screwed my brains out until I came. We both showered, dried off, and I left for the evening with a big smile on my face.

Now hungry, I had dinner at El Herradero, just down the street (east). The previous posts were right on the money here. The total cost for a T-bone steak the size of a large plate and one beer was $10 USD, including tip. I then turned in for the night.

The next day (Monday July 21, 2003) I returned to massage El Encanto and again chose Lorena, even though there were some different girls there from the day before (8 all together). We went to the massage room and we both looked at each other and made love like itís been a year away at sea. She was so passionate, and even more so as we both gave into our desires. She just loves oral on her pussy and must have had at least two orgasms. She moaned so loud I would not doubt that she was heard in the office area. We screwed in several positions for a good length of time (it seemed long) and I just must have been over horny and could not cum. She sensed this and tore the rubber off, stuck her finger in my ass, teased my gland, and continued with a BBBJ until I came in her mouth. She sucked me dry until I went soft. We showered together, dried each other off, hugger her, and went on my way, legs unsteady. I hope to return here one day. WOW!

Then, I took the local bus to the bar/club area (west of Av. Juarez) and walked around for a few hours. I saw many street girls this evening and I must agree with the others that some of them are pretty scary. You couldnít walk fifty yards without getting some advertising information from some local cabby or street walker (girl and/gay/TV/TG etc.). In fact, if you come anywhere near Hotel Rex, expect to get propositioned by guy-girls. Some of these are foolers and you wonít know until itís too late (unless you like that kind of stuff). One smaller blond street walker (about 5 foot tall) wanted to come back to the Villa Man Port with me and service me the night (until 7AM the next morning) for a mere $50.00 USD, but we just ended up talking. She seemed very nice and hangs out just south of Club Queens.

I also took a break at the Club Queens (closer to the border than Panama). Two drinks for 1 drink are still being offered (even on Mondayís). There were at least three very nice women there. I zeroed in on Nellie, who is very thin and about 5 foot 4 inches. After talking with her for a while, I thought she was a good possibility. However, because I had just blown a very potent load earlier with Lorena, I was not recharged enough to perform. Anyway, Nellie would have been just perfect for me. The previous posts for this girl seem accurate. I should be returning to Juarez soon, so I expect to have just as much fun on my next visit. Thanks guys for all the great posts, it made for a very exciting time!

Hi, all

Dreaming Eagle, by any chance you have in your guide, Masajes Consuelo. They were closed before but, now there is new administration and sometimes they have good girls during the weekends. I believe they are located right in front on the Hotel Montecarlo but on the following street up North. I have gone twise and there were always different girls. I guess the new administration is trying to get skinny girls from what I saw. There not that bad. Try them and let us know your experience. Ok. We all enjoy new posts from different points of views.

I need to apologize to you for the "vale de pena" heat you have taken. Re-reading that post by moi, I left out the all important comma or (..... ) that it needed. Lo siento! Had a great time again on my visit. Saw old friends, made new ones, and baked in the 105 degree temps. AAAhhhh, Mexico.

Una pregunta: If a woman brings her children to meet you, is that a big deal? I have heard that it is, but am curious as to whether that is accurate.

EDITOR's NOTE: Posting of this report was delayed pending revisions to capitalize the word "I". To avoid future delays, please refrain from using "i" instead of a capital "I" in future reports. Thanks!

What is the price for Vitamin V in Juarez pharmacies? I was quoted $15 for a 50 mg pill at one pharmacy and $10 for a 100 mg pill at another. Am I paying too much for them?

The price varies a lot, but it's always very expensive. Here is the cheapest source of quality viagra available anywhere, as far as I am aware: http://www.generics-online-pharmacy.com/

It comes from India and takes sometimes a month to arrive but is identical in effects as the Pfizer product.

Consuelo's: It's true. Someone posted somewhere recently that the place was under new management and that there were a number of slender girls working there. The new owner is actually an American with dual citizenship. He knows what we want and is working very hard to find pretty, slender girls. He had a couple of honey's on duty Saturday afternoon. I got with a young lady who had beautiful skin and a very nice body. It was no GFE, but she was a very sweet person. I'll be going back to try my luck with some of the other ones...to get there head east on Triunfo de la Republica almost to the San Lorenzo curve where de la Republica swings to the south. You will come to a red light at Del Charro before the curve. Turn left on Del Charro. Turn right on the first street, Melquides Alanis. Drive about four blocks and look on your left for the sign. It's upstairs. Nice rooms, too.

Here is the website: www.juarez-mens-guide.com. However, if you can't, the easiest way for me is to get on Stanton in downtown El Paso and follow it to the border bridge to Juarez. However, for a newbie, the easiest way to experience the nightlife of Juarez is to get off Exit 19 on I-10 and go south on El Paso Avenue (try Yahoo Maps if you have to), park at one of the large parking areas near the border bridge, pay the crossing fee of $0.25, and go across the border by foot. The name of the street on the other side is Avenida de Juarez. Follow this until you hit Martinez, turn right on Martinez and go past the gymnasium. (Just a warning, this neighborhood looks scary. Just walk straight and pretend that you know what you're doing. Knock on wood, I have never had any problems here). Go all the way until you see a red building on the left hand side of Martinez, this is the San Souci. Inside you will see available women for your picking. The cost should be $40. Afterward retrace your step to get back to the US, pay $0.25 at the bridge and declare yourself that you are an American citizen inside the immigration building while you're brandishing your driver's license for the border official to see. He may ask you what your purpose was in going to Mexico--just say you wanted to have a good time. TOf course there are other options that you might want to pursue, such as massage parlors and other clubs, such as Panama and the Pink Laydy. However, this is the easiest and safest way to get to a legitimate brothel in Juarez.

With regards to your questions on US plates, there are a lot of cars in Juarez with Texan and New Mexican plates, so I wouldn't worry if I were you. Americans from El Paso and Las Cruces NM visit Juarez all the time. However, you might want to get Mexican auto insurance as your American insurance won't be considered legitimate in Mexico.

Do get the insurance. Most people drive without it, but if you have an accident you'll be in hot water. Also, even if your insurance will pay claims in the "free trade zone" (all of Juarez, I believe) does not mean the insurance is considered legal coverage by Mexican authorities. Lot of people are confused on this point.

I've got State Farm auto insurance and my agent, (I trust him 100%) says that my insurance covers my car in Mexico unless I would venture further than 25 miles. He said that State Farm has attorneys in Juarez that are just a phone call away. I thought I had to buy extra insurance, but my agent, after I ask him three times, informs me that extra insurance is not required (and my total premium for an older car is only $425 per year.
Just my two cents worth.

You get a lot of conflicting information about what is and is not legal in Mexico, even from Mexican sources. This is another example. I plan to keep my Mexican policy, though.

de's right as usual, but i need to add one thing: watch your ass, driving in juarez. two main things to be concerned about, the first of which is corrupt cops. if you get stopped, for good reason or bogus (it's happened to me both ways), be prepared to fork over ten or twenty bucks, or have your license confirep001ed and/or "go downtown".

the second possibility is scarier: i know from experience that even having valid mexico insurance may not be enough, in the event of an accident. i know two americans who had minor accidents in juarez in the last few years--fender benders with mexican nationals. despite having proper insurance (and their insistence that it wasn't their fault), they were put in jail until someone came up with enough cash to pay for the other driver's damages.

i love mexico, travel there frequently, and my father even lives in juarez, so i'm not speaking as an ignorant yank trying to demean the place. but i've personally known this to happen (i delivered $600 to the juarez jail to get my own well-insured father out of stir, after he'd been held 2 nights with no phone call), and i'm told it's not uncommon there. that said, i myself drive there sometimes--carefully--but for a newbie i recommend walking over and taking cabs if needed.

Gee, I almost missed all of that...

Yes, as any dickhead knows Spanish verbs never end in "or". However, nouns sometimes do end in "or", and the word "valor" means value or worth. Hence, the expresssion "valor de la pena" (worth the trouble) is a perfectly acceptable Spanish phrase, just as "sin valor" means a person (or something) is worthless.

i'm chuckling a bit, because westex makes the point even clearer. it's not going to matter if you have a piece of paper from a mexican or american carrier if there is substantial property damage or injury involved in an accident. you are going to jail. why?

because 1) auto accidents are automatically both a civil and criminal matter in mexico versus the u.s. where they can be criminal but are usually a civil matter; 2) no one knows if your insurance policy is really paid up; and 3) any mexican person with half a brain knows if you get back across the border it's a hell of lot more likely of lightning striking than for an american to come back and live up to his/her responsibilities (let's leave aside who's really at fault for the moment).

all that being true either way, you are still better off with insurance from a mexican carrier. at least it shows you went to the trouble to obey the law, and, having worked for three insurance companies, i would sure not be expecting some american adjustor in demoines to be having a lot of patience with my story of having a wreck in mexico. they only pay anything right here when they absolutely have to pay. there is the smiley face who sells you the insurance policy, and then there is the old ***** i used to carpool with who's life's mission it is not to ever pay a single dime on any claim unless her big, devious brain cannot think of a way not to.

mexico is a strange place where they let you run with the ball a long, long way. you get to thinking it's basically lawless and do as you please, and it is---until something comes up. then you find out there are all kinds of laws on the books that can be used to nail your ass, and you left your "civil rights"---if you even really have any these days---at the border. best bet is find out what the law is and do your best to obey it. no one's going to bust you for going to pink lady's or a massage parlour.

get caught with drugs, though, or with an **** girl, and---if for some reason you can't buy your way out right there on the scene---life as you know it is over. your job will likely be gone before you come to trial. you are guilty until you prove yourself innocent (napoleonic law). jury trials are rare. the judge usually makes his decision based upon written statements. the american counselate can't help you. the party is definitely over if you are caught up in the mexican criminal justice system in any serious way.

sorry to digress from the subject of insurance, but the thought of me standing there waving state farm papers and thinking they will really help me in a serious accident in mexico just made me chuckle a bit. much as i truly do respect elpasogentleman, i really think he has been misled by his american carrier.

An amigo and I stayed at the Hotel Colonial this past trip.I left 5 days before him,and it turns out that the hotel in NOT amiga friendly in the least. (much to his surprise).

So I need advice as I go back in mid september, and will need an amiga friendly hotel (and that being a quality hotel).I'm looking at the Manport, and have heard the Lucierne (sp?) is AF. Any others that I need to consider? Or is this a matter of telling the hotel that i will have a friend with me while I'm there?

Any opines on this are very welcome!

Not sure what you mean by quality. Forget the Lucerna or any of the other high dollar hotels. They are all going to frown on you bringing back girls. The Villa Manport is more than nice enough unless you just must have golden plated bathroom fixtures. It has AC/heating units (real AC), a small bar, and a small cafe. (Think nice, clean Motel 6 style rooms). It's located within walking distance of 5 MPs, and if you want to bring back a girl nobody is going to make an issue of it.

The manager Ephrein knows why we come to Juarez. $30 a night. Can't be beat. My only suggestion is that you tell him that you want to park your car across the street at the Cabana rooms because they have 24/7 security in that parking lot. Hermanos Escobar is a busy street, so no need to leave it parked in front of the hotel.

I was in the process of crossing the Lerdo Bridge when I was stopped by US Custom officials. He asked me to open my bag and did a search of my stuff. He also asked me to empty my pockets, which I obliged. In addition, he asked me my occupation, what was I doing going into Juarez, and what mode of transportation I took to get from Arizona to Texas. Mind you, this was on the United States side of the border, where we have certain rights as citizens. I held my temper and remained calm and collective. Now my question is whether there is a legal issue with this. I am not sure whether custom officials can search a US citizen leaving the US to go to another country without a search warrant. I can understand about searching airplane travellers because of security reasons but I was on my foot when this occurred.

I remembered something like this occurring a couple of years ago when officials conducted the search the bags of travellers on Greyhound busses but this was stopped by Congress or some government body, I don't remember whom, because they deemed it unconstitutional. Now here we are with these US Custom people.

The funny thing about this whole affair was that when I crossed back into the US, I was only asked by the border official what was in my bag. I told him that I had clothes and toilet items. He then told me that I can cross the turnstile. That was it--my bag was not searched at all and I was not cross examined as to what my purpose was in being in Mexico.

Sundevil...In response to your question about the legality of the searches. The law says that they can search your vehicle, personal possessions and your person without cause when you are within a "Customs Compound". Definition of that would be the facilities they have there at the LErdo bridge. You're going "gray area" when you're talking about on the bridge. Any ther place they have to have probable cause and a search warrant to conduct a search. Bear in mind though that we have a bible thumping Attorney General that thinks the U.S. constitution was written on toilet paper for his personal use and it and the Bill of Rights is open to his and only his interpretation.

Strangely enough, and I don't understand it, over here in Laredo, they are doing the same thing going into Mexico before the toll booths. U.S. Customs or Laredo PD and sometimes Texas Rangers and DPS troopers stopping cars, asking the same foolish questions and checking VIN numbers.

Generally coming back across is not a problem as most of them know me by now. I had one asshole Customs officer though a while back wanted to know
1. What the FUCK I was doing in Mexico
(I live here)

2. What I was doing driving a Mercedes Benz in Mexico
(My preference and yes, it's mine)

3. Where I worked

4. See my Passport

5. Ran my drivers license.

6. Where do I work
(told him)

7. Did I have any "Work Documents"
(What the fuck, this is the U.S., not Russia)

And a whole list of assinine questions that being the smartass I am, I answered.

Ceossing back into the U.S. from Canada recently, I told this to a supervisor at the Calais Maine POE and he gave me a complaint form to fill out and mail to the district office.

Beleive me, you will get action and a letter of apology. I did and have had no more trouble out of the idiot.

I've been driving across the border every week for over a year now (Free bridge - Cordova) to see my sweet chica. I have yet to have a bad experience with the border agents. I told my brother, I'm inviting the whole damn bunch of border agents to my wedding because they are the only ones who are actively taking an interest in my life. They want to know where I'm going, what I'm doing, where do I work, what's in the trunk, is this my car (old Mercedes), etc., etc. It feels good to have people take such an interest in my life. Hey, esta'ba bromeando.

I'm wondering if some agents can sense a bit of irritation from some crossers and maybe get a little troublesome out of spite. Don't know. But if one thorough check on some dumb a*s who has some type of biological agent he's ready to insert in the water supply is prevented- it's a small price for me to pay. There may never be that one dumb a*s to pull such a trick. But more sh*t is going to be happening and no place is safe. I have mixed emotions about all this border checking - but it doesn't bother me that much.

On another note, I think I WILL get phone numbers of the Juarez attorneys who work with State Farm. I certainly do have phone numbers on my cell of two very good friends who are Juarez citizens. Anyway ... have a good weekend everyone.

I guess I will have to use the Santa Fe bridge if I want to be free from the hassle being searched. I have no problem with that.

I was able to locate Masaje Consuelo last weekend. The cost of for an hour of massage and sex was $40. Unfortunately, the place did not have hot water at the time but, because of the heat, I did not mind. In fact, the girl and I performed some standing doggie while we were in the shower together. The good thing about this chick is that she speaks fluent English. She told me the reason for this was that she was raised in Washington state but her family moved to Juarez while she was a little girl. However, I tend to believe that she is a chicana living in El Paso and she goes to Juarez to make some money. The good thing about doing her was that we were able to have a full blown conversation while having sex, something that I cannot do with other girls due to my Spanish. Thus, she was able to tell me what positions we should be doing in order for her to enjoy herself. One of the best hours I've had in a Juarez massage parlor.

I tried to locate Loryed but I could not find Hipermart on Triunfo del Republica. Is this street past the Rio Grande mall or Del Charro? While trying to locate this massage parlor, I noticed that there is another El Gran Herradero de los Soto restaurant in Juarez. This place was on Triunfo del Republica. Prices were similar to the establishment on Hermanos Escobar.

Finally, I noticed that LePetit on Montes de Oca was closed, with a padlock on the door. Does anyone know the story behind this? My guess is that the landlord of the building did not get his rent and evicted the proprietor. I went to Genesis instead. The good thing about that place is that there is a kitchen in a separate building out to the side where you can rest up and drink sodas or juices. I don't think they serve alcohol there however.

I have State Farm and asked my agent about coverage in Juarez. He told me basically the same thing. That I was covered for short visits and short distances. I would think if you if you live there you would be in another classification and would need a different type of coverage. Iím with the ElPaso Gent. on this one. Iíll go with the word of a professional first. Having said that I am also aware when I go to Mexico or many other countries I will not likely get equal justice or treatment. When finding fault in an auto accident. It will probably be me found to be the party at fault in a county like Mexico regardless of the facts. It will make no difference what company or country you buy your insurance from. I think it is at a time like this you will find out just how friendly our Mexican neighbor are to us. I ím sure all of us have made individual friends in Mexico but as a whole the Mexican population is not that enamored with Americans. It can be argued of course they have reason. It makes no difference which side of the argument you are on regarding that we must live with that situation. Thatís assuming we wish to pursue the hobby there. If I had a problem I would not call the Mexican attorney first Iíd call my agent and have him call the attorney. I would also tell him I was being held and I expected him to get me out. There is a good possibility I am going to lose my car and it is also possible I will spend a night or two in jail. Hopefully it will never happen to any of us. But if we chose to go to Mexico we should be aware of the risk and be prepared (as best one can be) for the possibility.

i'm glad everyone's having a blast at consuelo--i had a very different experience friday afternoon. went by around !:00 to find two girls available, both a little larger than i prefer but with nice smiles. i didn't have the time or interest to drive around more so i chose "[CodeWord901] (http://isgprohibitedwords.info?CodeWord=CodeWord901)" (no doubt her real name!). paid her forty bucks, we undressed and showered, then to the table for a perfunctory massage--par for the course.

she enventually put the condom on and asked if i wanted her to climb on top. not yet, i said--how about first "en la boca"? no, she shook her head, that would be extra. how much extra? twenty bucks...so i declined. well, i said, how about if i give you a nice massage first? no, she didn't really want that either. of course, by now the atmosphere is totally ruined...we did the deed but it was my first time ever, not to leave a tip.

that ymmv thing is for real--i'm always clean, dressed business casual, and polite in the mps, and i get dates regularly in the "real world" so i'm pretty sure i'm not flat-out repulsive. but i was very turned off by the upselling and poor attitude of this particular girl at masaje consuelo, and i won't be going back.

Perhaps you will believe the U.S. State Department:

"AUTOMOBILE INSURANCE: Mexican auto insurance is sold in most cities and towns on both sides of the border. U.S. automobile liability insurance is not valid in Mexico nor is most collision and comprehensive coverage issued by U.S. companies. Therefore, when you cross the border, please purchase auto insurance adequate for your needs in Mexico. A good rule of thumb is to buy coverage equivalent to that which you carry in the United States. If you are involved in an accident, you will be taken into police custody until it can be determined who is liable and whether you have the ability to pay any penalty. If you do not have Mexican liability insurance, you may be prevented from departing the country even if you require life-saving medical care, and you are almost certain to spend some time in jail until all parties are satisfied that responsibility has been assigned and adequate financial satisfaction received. Motor vehicle insurance is considered invalid in Mexico if the driver is found to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Drivers may also face criminal charges if the injuries or damages are serious."

General question about getting to Juarez from El Paso:

I am driving in, and want to stay at the Villa Manort. Since I will have a rental car, I want to park it near the border. Where is there a reasonably secure parking lot near a reasonable bridge?

Once I cross the border, I plan to take cabs everywhere.

Explorer, when I walk over I always park at Border Parking. It's the last lot on the left as you drive down Santa Fe. In fact, the Santa Fe walkover bridge looms over a portion of it. They have someone in the lot 24/7 and I've never had a problem in all the many years I've parked there.
If your looking for an even more secure lot, you could park up in the Civic Center parking lot, which is about 1/4 a mile up Santa Fe street (heading north).

I arrived in El Paso on August 16, 2003 and headed to Ciudad Juarez for a relaxing time. I walked over the Santa Fe Street Bridge to the bar/club area (west of Av. Juarez) and walked around for a few hours late evening. I saw many street girls this evening and met one in front of Hotel Rex that spoke very good English. We talked for a while and she asked if I liked her looks. She was short and thin and appeared well taken care of (clean, good teeth and smell, no scars etc.). She had 3 kids and not married. She asked if I wanted her and we agreed on a price before going to the room. I paid her $20.00 USD and $5.00 USD for the room. I had my own protection and did not have to pay extra for anything else. She was very sensual, which I did not expect. She got me hard BBBJ, slipped on a condom, and I entered her from behind. She was pretty tight (another surprise). After a while, I blew my load and after finishing, she cleaned me off with a wet towel. I had a late night snack down the street and returned to the USA for a nights rest.

The next day I crossed the Santa Fe Street Bridge then down Ave. Juarez. I met a cabbie named Martin Daniel who stands on the corner of Calle Colon and Ave. Juarez. He owns a cab (#0126 Sitio - Blanco & Negro) and can be reached at 612-06-02 or from the USA at 001-52 (656) 612-06-02. He speaks very good English and just bought a house that he is transforming into a B&B. He says this B&B has 4-bedrooms and will provide 2-meals a day (plus liquor) to guests. Additional guests would be welcome to stay the night with the paying client (if one was found around town). His cab and services will also be available and is included in the daily price of the room. He expects to cater to executive type clientele from the USA (and other countries), but I expect that he would also entertain some of us mongers who are not the executive types. He is currently setting this up and expects to open for business in February 2004.

Martin took me by cab to Masaje Encanto located 1 block east of the intersection of Calle Panama and Av. Hermanos Escobar ($6.00 USD). Serenaís Massage, located across from the Hotel Villa Man Port was closed (being Sunday). There were 3 girls there, one of them being Lorena, whom I met on the previous trip in July, 2003. The other two did not appeal to me. Lorena is very slim and well toned, small firm breasts, pretty facial features, a small scar from a c-section on her belly (not noticed before), divorced, and about 5 foot 5 inches. The ďmassageĒ portion was still $300.00 Pesos for the hour (currently $27.65 USD) not including her tip.

I took a shower first and when I was done, directed me to the massage table. Lorena is very pleasing, passionate, and willing to do just about anything. After about 20 minutes into the massage she began teasing my balls and anal area which immediately gave me a hard-on. Since I knew she liked oral, I grabbed her and began DATY. She became so hot and came wildly. Then, after slipping on a condom, I planted my member in her very wet pussy ďdoggieĒ style, stimulating her anal area with my fingers as I am thrusting forward. After a while, I pulled out and switched positions, me on the bottom. Lorena started giving me head, first with the condom on, then she took it off and finished me CIM while her finger was up my ass. We showered, hugged, and then I took a bus west to Ave. Juarez.

I spent a total of $75.00 for a decent massage and two pieces of tail. I had a pretty good experience this visit despite a few derelict Americans asking for money. The food was decent and I did notice one finer dining establishment on Ave. Juarez near Ignacio Mejia. I will try this one next visit.

I'm afraid the "real world" in Mexico is a little more complex than this cynical analysis.... all the expert advice you can dig up (except your insurance agent, of course) says just the opposite. The Mexican government says the opposite. The U.S. State Department says the opposite. The Juarez police will tell you the opposite. The man I worked for in El Paso sure didn't let any of his service trucks go to Juarez without Mexican insurance. In the face of all that evidence, if you think you are in good hands with State Farm, more power to you. Hopefully, this discussion will persuade someone new to driving in Mexico that in the event of a serious accident you are going to wish you had bought a Mexican insurance policy.

I tried a two-girl experience at Encanto. The total cost was $50. The problem with this is that, because of the narrowness of the massage table, we had to use the floor. Luckily, the girls were able to spread a blanket on top of it.

By the way, the girl that ripped me off the first time I was here, Perla, had worked a couple of times when I visited this place. Needless to say, I did not choose her during the lineups, even though, from the expression on her face, she expected that I select her. I believe this is the case mainly because I had sex with her that first time. After leaving the room from the two-girl experience, I sat near her in the entry area and she pretty much ignored me. I can tell that she was not a happy camper. Mexican women sure get jealous. Perhaps I will choose her the next time I go here just to see what happens, but, to be sure, I will not be paying more than $30.

Also, can anyone direct me to Loryed. I sure would appreciate it. I tried to find this place but could not locate it.

Depends on the situation. If you are having dinner with a chica and she says "muy rico" it means "tastes great". If you're doing the nasty, it would mean "feels great". Alternative meaning "very good".

Another often used variation (especially by my ex-gf) is "que rico". Means basically the same thing.

I rather doubt that Perla was really jealous. She's hardened up a lot since she worked at Sirena's a couple of years back. Being with her now is totally different than it used to be.

Loryed's is one of the easiest MPs to find. Just drive east on Paseo Triunfo de Republica, traveling in one of the right lanes. Right after you take a sweeping curve to the right (south) you will see a big superstore on the right (west) side of the street. There is not a sign saying Hipermart, but that's what it is (and a good place to shop, by the way). Turn right (west) on Fray Pedro de Gante, which is the street that runs down the right side of the Hipermart building. At the end of the Hipermart building de Gante deadends into Fray Marcos de Niza. You will see a tiny stip center facing you. Loryed's is on the second floor.

If you want to hop a bus, go to Vicente Guerrero and Avenida Juarez, catch any bus with the word "Hipermart" on the windshield and follow the directions above.

Location: 249 Fray Marcos de Niza
Telephone: 617-7917
Hours: 10 a.m. - 9 p.m., Mon. - Sat. , closed Sun.
Price: $25

As you surmise, it literally means "very rich", but in real terms it means she highly approves of the way you are making love to her. She will also sometimes whisper "asi...asi...asi" when she is about to come. That means do it just the way you are doing it, puhleeze.

Ah, the project which seems to be governed by the Rule of Halves.

Here's the story on the book. It's ready to print, minus the strip bar section, which I've decided to add later. It has 14 MPs and the three main *****bars downtown, complete with maps, directions from the free bridge, from Ave. Juarez, and from the Villa Manport Hotel. However, not one but two very influential people in the city have strongly advised me not to publish this information in book form. Those of you who have been frequenting the MPs a long time know that the MPs are barely tolerated by the city officials. In their minds MP's, prostitution, drugs, the city's poor image elsewhere, even the missing girls---all these things roil around in the same cauldron in the minds of the conservative element in the city.

One of these men was an international banker before he retired, and the ruling class was basically his circle of friends for 40 years. The other individual is a very wealthy one who is also very well connected...so I have to give some credence when they tell me such a book would eventually fall into the wrong hands and would not be well received.

So the information is going to have to be published on the web in downloadable pages---which brings about a new set of hurdles for me. I'll need a security script to handle log-ins and registrations, and the book will have to be converted to HTML pages.

None of this is any big deal for software developer, but it all takes time, especially converting the book into HTML. It comes across, but every page has to be doctored up and made into a printable format.

You have no idea how this development disappoints me, because I worked day and night to meet the August 22nd deadline I imposed upon myself. Yet my friends are making some sense to me. You want to keep a low profile in Juarez, always. Too many people are starting to recognize me, and everyone in the MPs know who I am because of this project. I would not be hard to find if someone in power was upset with me.

It might also not be a good idea for you guys to be walking around with the information in book form...

Much as I loathe the idea of yet another round of tedious effort to get this information out to you, it will probably work out better for a few other reasons: 1) you can print out the pages in color if you have a color printer; 2) you can print just before you go and be sure you are getting up to the minute information, vs. having a printed book which will eventually be out of date; and 3) no one is going to bother you for having a couple of pieces of paper folded up in your pocket which have nothing but maps and directions on them.

I appreaciate your interest, and it will happen in the next few weeks. I just need to take my time with it, because, frankly, after 3-4 months of nothing else, I'm a little burnt out at the moment.

Oscar MuŮoz has really really turned El Encanto into a nice place. He is very eager to be in the guide and had me take photos of the sala and some of the rooms. He also has three really dynamite looking girls. One of them is slender and has beautiful boobs. She started off asking for $10 extra for oral, then got so hot she did it any way. To say she was enthusiastic was an understandment. That was Friday night. The next day I came back, took the pics, and got with a smaller one who also had a gorgeous tight bod. I can get hot thinking about either one of them and am seriously considering springing $50 for them together.

I went to place an order of vitamin V from Generics-online (the place in India) and saw the following on the pay page:

"Recent regulations prohibit sales of any prescription drugs to state residents of Illinois, Kansas, Missouri, Michigan, Nevada and Texas. We will not dispatch any orders to these states. Also we do not ship to APO (Army Post Office) and other US institutional addresses."

Don't remember that being there the last time I ordered. Has anyone placed a recent order? Did they accept and ship it?

have you thought of taking your book as is, and converting it to a pdf and selling it online that way? it would seem to speed up the process of making it available, as the conversion process is merely to print it to pdf. the pdf format has some built in security features, from password protection, to preventing the ability to copy the text/images of the doc. just a thought.

Regarding the insurance debate: I have no desire to have the last word or be "right" all of the time.

But I wrote State Farm Corporate after getting home Sunday night. I had seen a terrible wreck Saturday involving a car with Texas plates and a girl laying face up unconscious on the pavement. I also wanted to know because a lot of people take my advice to heart about Mexico in general and Juarez in particular and wanted to be sure I was giving the best information I could obtain.

I told them in the email I wanted State Farm Insurance if it was true I would be legally insured in Juarez.

A lady from the corporate office left a voice mail on my home phone on Tuesday, and I will quote her verbatim:

"Mr. <......>, thanks for your interest, but our policy will not cover your vehicle while driving in Mexico. In fact, we strongly advise anyone driving in Mexico to obtain insurance from a Mexican company licensed to sell insurance. Feel free to call me if you have any questions..."

I don't care about being right, but I do care about people thinking they are safe when they are putting the lives on the line when driving in MX without a Mexican policy.

My first Juarez Trip:

After researching wsg for about 6 months, I finally made decision to go to MP paradise Juarez.

I always have wild dream about beautiful girl massaging me in juarez after reading lots of reports from wsg, especially DE's report. Thank you, DE, for all your good information.
So I went to Juarez a weeks ago. After eating fillit mignon, I found encanto on the way to Villa manport. To increase my sexuality, I eat vitamin V, then went to encanto. There are about 7 girls at encanto. Two of them are attractive to me, a big busted babe and pretty face babe.

I chose pretty face babe. Her name was Lorena. Altough she has pretty face, I didn't have good experience with her.
She has C-section scar and brace on her teeth.
I paid $40.
5 min poor massage, 10 min sex, 5 min shower without soap.total(20min)
rejected kiss on her lip. rejected doggy style, just cowgirl only.

I read good reports about lorena, but I was disappointed about her. She was very rushed and the service was poor.
Also, she rip-off $10 more.

Lorena : face(8), body(7), attitude(3), service(3).
I'll never go encanto again.

After big disappointment, I went to two of DE's top 5 MP, brenda and sirena.
At brenda, there is just one girl. pretty face with some scar. she was better than lorena.
Massage was better and She didn't rushed me and did every position what I want including doggy.
paid $25. total(30min)
face(7), body(7), attitude(8), service(8).
At sirena, there are three girls. All of them are not attractive. So I just left.
Overall Juarez trip : C+
I remember Someone reports that RLD is better than MP in Juarez.
Now I think that's true.
I'll try RLD next time instead of MP.

Happy mongering.

1) Candy from Genesis
2) Letty from Casa Colorada
3) Yvette from Consuelo
4) Jessica (perhaps Dreaming Eagle's busty provider) at El Encanto
5) Arlene at Marylin.

Irais (E ra ťťs) at Genesis, a little big, NOT FAT, tight, pretty face, big firm tatas, and excellent service....especially after you get to know her..WOW.
Candy is a great choise too, one of the horniest girls I've done there.
won't go wrong with either one.....

Last time I was at Casa Colorado, there were actually TWO Letty's there. (Great creative name choices ladies). The one I had the pleasure of being with was petite in height, weight, with a great set of breasts, really tiny rear, and VERY enthusiastic. I'm guessing she was late 20's maybe early 30's,because her mannerisms were much more refined than one often finds there. She really tried hard to communicate the entire evening, and we actually were able to do quite well!

The other, has dark curly hair, nice rear, beautiful face, but a personalty that just makes me wary of her. Not unpleasant, but just on edge all the time.

Along with all the MP ads in El Diario is a new ad for Gimnasio-Vapor Imperio. The address is 2550 Texcoco. Does anyone know what the deal is there? The ad said grand opening. Maybe I'll investigate on my next visit to CJ.

I saw her once---tall, slender, nice smile? I checked back for her a couple of times, but she was either busy or not there both times.

Candy is probably the girl that you mentioned--she is tall, slender, and has a nice smile plus one of the best techniques in giving oral sex that I have ever encountered. At Genesis there is a list of schedule that the manager has while in the lobby. You can request whomever you want . If she is busy, you can reserve for her. If she is off that day, the manager will inform you. The girls are required to be done in the massage room at a certain time period.

At least two of the managers speak fluent English. One of them, Mario, the son of the owner, is actually a US citizen and attended high school in Tucson AZ. His is the SUV that is park on the premises that has Arizona plates. He just finds living in Juarez more enjoyable than El Paso.

The Letty at Casa Colorada who I am referring to indeed has dark curly hair, a nice rear, and a beautiful face. She might appear to have a reserve personality in the bar when among strangers but she changes once she goes upstairs, at least with me. Anyway, I believe that I have had a good time with her, both in the bar and upstairs, because I have known her for some time. As you know in these places, YMMV. The ability to speak Spanish helps a lot with regards to this. Her actual name is Leticia, which is, I presume, a name common in Mexico.

I have met the other Letty that you encountered. She does indeed have a nice and friendly personality.

I am sorry to say this but, according to Candy, Irais has quit. She does indeed have a nice large body, something that you can squeeze. I especially like the technique that she uses when giving BBBJ--putting a piece of chocolate candy on her tongue just prior to licking your member.

There was a Candy there around OCT of last year who met that desciption. She was awesome, but she said she was 2 months pregnant at that time. Said that she was going south to have her baby. Might be the same girl. She was super nice, joked around, danced a little (in the small dark room) and was very into the experience. Not the best massage, but that was probably the only downside to her. Gotta luv it.

In no particular order:
Alejandra at Venus
Candy at Genesis
Marilu at Queens
Kelly at Fausto's
Paula at Venus
Lilliana at el Encanto
(some for their looks, some for their enthusiasm, some for both

Good choice on including MariLu from Queens Place. She is one hot piece of ass. Not much to look at but she is very submissive and responsive in bed. She always sucks my cock without my asking and once rode my cock for 45 minutes (in hotel).
I love the way she coos for me. "ooooh, ooooh, oooh Mugroso, oooooh me encantas". I recommend trying this next time you go, pull your cock out of her twat and make her suck it. I have done this numerous times. She loves it. I have yet to dip in her asshole but then again its not my thing, she just makes me feel dirty. But then again isn't that why we all go to Mexico?
I never waste time anymore when I go in. I go straight to MariLu and up we go, no fischas, nada.
At first I paid 70 bucks, (120 for TLN) but as time went on I pulled the ol', "mami, I only have 50 dolares. Vamos?" So negotiating is in her vocabulary. Once I tried buying her about 4 five dollar ficha drinks all the while rubbing her up and down and some light fingering. I got her so horny I handed her 10 bucks and motioned my eyes upwards and off we went to the rooms.
One position she loves is the spider monkey. Try it on her.
This is my first post here and I have viewed a few posts so far and look forward to being an active participant here. Juarez is my specialty as I am from El Paso and can be there in 15 minutes. I have been to Nogales once.

this is the last time iím going to address the auto insurance issue in mexico. this forum is about pussy not insurance . so here goes. your policy is a contract between you and your insurance company. anything said verbally by agents or others is probably not going to hold up under adjudication over what is written in your policy. in addition the written will almost always take precedence over the verbal in any contract.. the following is a exact word for word quote from one of my auto policy with state farm.

quote:
ďthe liability, medical payments and physical damage coverages also apply in mexico within 50 miles of the united states border. a physical damage coverage loss in mexico is determined on the basis of cost at the nearest united states point.

death, dismemberment and loss of sight and loss of earnings coverages apply anywhere in the world.Ē unquote:

this quotation is in the boiler plate of the policy on page 4 under ďwhen and where coverage appliesĒ. i donít know who de spoke with at state farm but whoever it was they are not familiar with what state farm writes into there policies. i have an acquaintance who has allstate. he says his policy says basically the same thing. i havenít seen the policy so i canít say for sure about allstate. it might be a good idea for everyone to look at there policy under ďwhere coverage appliesĒ to be sure about your policy. in addition, as stated by el paso gentleman, state farms has mexican attorneys on retainer in juarez.. where some of the confusion may come in here is commercial vehicles and operations. commercial vehicles and business are total different. insurance, licenses permits, everything. de referred to his boss sending vehicles and trucks to mexico. that would be totally different. a few years back i did some business in mexico. we had a american insurance (not state farm) that partnered with a mexican insurance company that provided insurance while our vehicles were in mexico. we had no restrictions on going 25 miles into mexico. but if we were going beyond that we had to give them 24 hrs advance notice. doing it that way keep our insurance cost down. i stopped doing business there simply because of all the red tape involved for the amount of business we did there. i just decided it wasnít worth it. in spite of all the above. iím going to repeat what de thinks is my cynical view of mexico. i think it is a ďreal worldĒ view. as an american you have 2 strikes against you from the start in mexico. if you have a serious accident in mexico you probably will be held, maybe in jail, your vehicle probably will be impounded, you may or may not get it back.. it doesnít make any difference what insurance you have or how much. in de defense, state farm came out with a ďwarning noticeĒ a while back. i think it was with a premium notice. it stated that if you where going to travel by car in mexico without mexican insurance and you were involved in an accident you may be detained in jail for days and your car impounded. this warning was what prompted me to have a discussion with my agent. i expect de to come out swinging on this one as he does not like his word to be questioned and he gets very defensive. heíll have the last word as iím not going to address this subject again. i think itís been beat to death already.

to limit my possible losses i only carry about $200.00 with me when i go to mexico. also i use a vehicle worth about $2,000.00. once several years back i took my very expensive sports car to show off (yes i am very dumb) with the girls. i had arranged to take a girl to a motel for a few hours after she finished work and then take her home. sure enough on my way back from taking her home i was stopped by the police. they check the car over and all the documents (including the insurance). it was very obvious they wanted to confirep001e the car. i was just about to offer them the $100.00 i had left when the cop in charge said i could go. that was the first and last time i took that car to mexico. i may be dumb but iím not an idiot. when in mexico i thick itís best to be very low profile. dress nicely but not flashy. donít ware anything such as a rolex or other expensive items. blend in a s much as possible. another thing i find myself doing is adjusting my driving to the local ways. drivers in juarez are very aggressive and when iím there i have to keep reminding myself not to drive in a similar way. the few minutes i might save arenít worth the risk. mexico is a dangerous place for anyone, but it is more dangerous for americans. on another posting iíll give you some examples of personal experiences as this posting is getting quite lengthy. i think some of your best defiance there is a low profile and anonymity. even de has alluded to this in his reluctance to publish his book on the advice of 2 influential people. the one safety net the web offers is anonymity which he gave up when he made it know to mp owners about the book. it seems to me the only think he would have given up by not consulting with them would have been the coupons and photos of the inside. at this point it might be very dangerous for him to be critical of anything or anyone in his book or web site. if you are known and in mexico you donít want to offend the wrong person. in addition the powers to be in mexico want to blame all there problems on everything but the real one, there corrupt government and law enforcement. they just might decide that de s information is one of juarezís problems. just my cynical view i guess .

i have just reread this posting and it comes off as i have little regard for de. nothing could be further from the truth. we do disagree on the insurance issue and he thinks i have a cynical view of mexico i think he has a polly anna view. but i recognize that no one, but no one has contributed to this thread more then de. he has hundreds of posting, most answering questions and giving out useful information. this is all very time consuming and take a lot of effort. we can disagree and still be friends.

I went to the bars last night, and it reminded me why I usually stick to the massage parlors. Don't sit down or order a drink until you've spotted a girl you like and asked her to join you. The moment you sit, sometimes before, the ugliest one in the place will attack you. You can't walk around the area without getting hassled by some dickhead that wants to 'help' you find the right place and get his cut.
It's kind of fun to sit and watch dancers before you choose one, and to sit and have a couple of drinks with a girl before going to the room, but having to fend off all the aggressive ones and waiters asking for tips takes the fun out of it. I believe in tipping for good service, but the ones that ask for tips get lesser tips than those that don't.
I found a nice looking girl at Queens named Jessica, very petite, so the night wasn't a total loss.
Next time it's back to the masage parlors. Has anyone taken any of the girls from El Encanto downstairs for a couple of drinks bfore a massage?

YES, I am familiar with Jessica at Queens. She is a real cutie and a nice kid. The only thing is she wasn't very good in the room. Non responsive, no oral, one position. She did get completely naked and spread eagled in all her glory though. Maybe she has improved with time but then again maybe it was me. ClydesDale, was my favorite putita MariLu there? The latest I hear from friends is she is now living above the Queens and has 7 not 5 kids as what she told me. I feel the urge for some nasty, maybe Iwill visit tonight.

'ClydesDale, was my favorite putita MariLu there?'

No, she's the first one I look for. She definitely would have been more fun. Jessica wasn't bad though.

September 16th is Mexican Independence day. Does anyone know if the MPs and bars will be open?
