Changi is very efficient*, you rarely get long queues or have to wait for your luggage, but it can happen. I estimate times as follows:
    - 5-15 minutes from gate to security.
    - 5 minutes at immigration.
    - 10 minutes to collect luggage.
    - 10 minutes to change terminal (probably 1 or 3 to 2).
    - 10-20 minutes to check in again.
    - 10 minutes at immigration.
    - 5-15 minutes to reach departure gate.
In other words, you are likely to do quite well. But if things go wrong, you're in deep doo-doo!

IMNSHO, there's no way I'd risk it.

Singapore was my home airport for a while, and I have also connected through it many times.

    * CRITICAL QUESTION * is the SIN-BKK leg on the same ticket?

If so, go for it. You can check your luggage straight through, no need to collect and re-check it, plus the airline will know that you are coming and facilitate transfer if time is tight, and if you do miss the connection they will rebook you.

If not, Changi is very efficient*, you rarely get long queues or have to wait for your luggage, but it can happen. I estimate times as follows:

    - 10-20 minutes to check in again.

    - 10 minutes at immigration.

    - 5-15 minutes to reach departure gate.

Which all adds up to about 60-90 minutes. Without any delay to the arriving flight.

    * they once took my bag off the luggage belt because I took too long to get there.

You can check the % on time or when the latest flight arrived. The good thing is that they can make up some time on the flight from the states and usually arrive early. However, Murphy does happen. When that happens, I have arrived on time to 3 days later. Furthermore, you might not be able to check all the way through. You can try. The only risk is the Asian leg, which should cost less and you might be able to rebook in worst case. Singapore is easy to get around and you should not have a problem finding a place to stay and rebook.

    - check luggage through and go from gate to gate (60 minutes is ok).

    To the hardest.

    - pass immigration, collect luggage, change terminal (1, 2, or 3), check in again for the new flight or at least drop the luggage, pass immigration again, go to gate, security, board.

I have to do the latter, if I arrive with AF and I go to KL with Malaysia, for example. In such a case, 3 hours is the minimum to be reasonably safe (and everythiing is very efficient in SIN).

DON'T DO THAT (without knowing exactly the procedure).

Why are you going through customs and immigration, you should be able to check through to Bangkok, even with different airlines. Not all airlines will do this but it's worth asking before you fly. If you are flying on Star Alliance then it should be possible. There are several terminals in Singapore and going between 1 and 3 is pretty time consuming. There are heaps of flights between SIN and BKK, just book a later flight if you are not sure.

I've been though SIN's customs & immigration many times, and they do it pretty efficiently. That being said, 90 minutes is a risk I wouldn't take.

If everything goes perfectly, you'd have no problem, but at least in my case, there's this guy named Murphy. If your flight is late, or it lands right after several other large flights, or you get randomly selected for a secondary inspection, your risk gets real.

I have had a 30 min connection in SG to Indonesia before with Singapore Airlines, while it was a dash from the gate to the new aircraft, my luggage made it and I was not the last passenger to get on board.

If you have to grab bags, exit and re-check in, it could be tight.

Last time I flew to SG, I was waiting over an hour for my bags, and I was flying in a premium cabin, with supposed priority baggage!

I think it is possible if you can check-in in advance and don't have luggage else it can be tight. Tomorrow might be very busy day due to CNY but Changi is amazingly efficient. You need to take into consideration that if you have to go between terminals there is some distance as well.

Normally when I go to Thailand I make sure to be there 50 minutes before but that is a bit tight sometimes as well but I am walking slow and not running. Good luck!

    Ipanema

Hey had one to many beers and little bit of whiskey last weekend that got me into some kind of mood to go check OT.

Saw some police on floor 3 when looking around but seemed like more routine visit then something else.

Did not really find anything interesting if this was due to my intoxication level or what is available I don't know but let's just say I expected more on a Saturday. Luckily there was some influx of ladies when I finally settled in Ipanema and I must say there is some talent from Vietnam that makes the most primitive functions of my brain to turn on despite being in a more sedated state.

That said finally found something interesting a quite petite Vietnamese with augmented boobs. Lovely face and smile but unluckily it turned out to be a close to a starfish unwilling to do anything almost. So if you run into a 20-25 year old girl named Ling take caution even if here body is smoking and she has a sweet face. One thing that surprised me seemed to be that her boob job was very unprofessional and left her with multiple scars under one of them when I asked it was apparently very cheap.

I was quoted so many different prices that night I almost gave up and went home. Anyways I will try this a bit more sober next time and hope I will not have to pay 200 for sub-par performance!

Hope everyone else has better luck!

Of course. But there's lack of information.

Pacific stars are closed and there's no more parlours with above mentioned procedure.

Very risky. Consider, you can't get rid of her if the deal goes sour.

I liked an ad on backpage. Great pictures, claimed the girl was Polish. I contact, agree to the fee (1500 outcall -- outrageous, I know, just wanted to try). She arrives at the hotel, and it's not her. It's an African lady instead. She asks for 2000. I say it's 1500, she calls up her "boss" on the speakerphone and it escalates to him screaming at me to pay her the money. After a few minutes squabbling with them, I think to just get it over with and and give her the 1500. She's still insisting on 2000. I go to the phone to call hotel security, she physically grabs me and the phone to prevent me from the call. I threaten to call police, and she leaves. As it got physical, I didn't want to escalate further because what was left was beating each other up. Nastiness for all involved. So I just chose for it to end and accept the loss because I'm stupid to put myself in this situation..
