San Ysidro crossing is easy. Example: last Saturday 8 PM. From trolley walk 5 min to the border, 5 minutes of formalities with visa at the border, then 5 min walk to Tijuana taxi and 10 min taxi ride to Hong Kong cost $ 5. Total 25 min and $ 5 one way.

I don't know crossing in Otay Mesa.

The cheaper way: park auto on the trolley parking lot. You can park free at trolley stations along the blue line from 8th Street station to Beyer Blvd station. (station: 8th Street, 24th Street, E Street, H Street, Palomar St, Palm Ave, Iris Ave and Beyer Blvd stations) (important: Max parking time 24 hrs) and take trolley to San Ysidro (one way ticket price $ 2. 50 or for seniors over 60, medicare, disabled $ 1. 25). After visiting Tijuana, Zona Norte or Zona Rio, take a trolley back to your car. Last trolley from San Ysidro to downtown San Diego 1258 AM sharp next trolley after 4 AM. If you come back after 1258 AM, take a taxi or Uber to your car. In this case, Beyer Blvd. Station parking is the nearest to the border. And so the cost of parking will be only $ 5 or $ 2. 50 for seniors for 24 hours. What do you think about it? I always park in this way.

I can't give exact figures since all cambios change almost by the minute. But I can say it's probably the second best after the one just next to the highway on ramp by Ped East.

If you are talking about the parking lot behind jack-in-box. It is 8 buck for 8 hours, 24 for 24 hours on the week days. The weekend rate went up to 12 bucks for 8 hours.

If you turn right after getting off the highway, there is a drive through cambio just before the outlet stores on the left side of the road with a tall sign that says "Mexican Insurance". When I was parking two plus years ago, it was eight dollars for overnight, out by 8 AM. Pull up to the drive through window and tell them you want to pay for parking. This is also one of the better places to change dollars for pesos.

But from the following sources, it seems they should earn much more than what you said.

    1. The average Mexican household consists of 3.8 members, earns $843 a month and is headed by a person just shy of 50 years old, according to the 2014 National Survey of Household Income and Expenditure.

    2. Money, while it cannot buy happiness, is an important means to achieving higher living standards. In Mexico, the average household net-adjusted disposable income per capita is USD 13 891 a year, considerably lower than the OECD average of USD 30 563 a year. There is a considerable gap between the richest and poorest the top 20% of the population nearly fourteen times as much as the bottom 20%.

    From OECD better life index.
From my limited time in Tijuana with a friend and her friends. I could not keep up with them financially in terms of spending money. When out. They ordered food and drinks way beyond what my cheap American family and friends do. They also were constantly going away on weekends or for a week. I suppose they were all above middle class but I felt poor being the American that couldn't keep up with the fine dinning. Weekend getaways.

Mexico has a 6-day work week, so $300 pesos / day equals $1800 pesos / week ($100 USD) maximum and normally more like $1200 pesos ($67 USD).

So a WG charging $100 USD and pulling 3 customers / week could, in fact, live like a queen. Assuming that she kept the entire $100 USD fee.

I wasn't holding them there against their will.

Haha yes they work for HK. I'm sure mgmt was missing the fichas all three bring in especially one of them. MGMY wasn't stoked on 2+ hrs in my room. The girls were all pissed off about knocks as well.

I don't remember mention of a fine, but there was definitely a concern that management would be unhappy.

Some thoughts on this topic. First, HK is running a business and they don't make any extra money when their resources are spending extra time in your hotel room. Regardless of how the girl is paid, she is essentially an employee of HK, she is not a free lancer. Second, there could be a concern for the girl's safety. Third, if you want super long sessions, you should make appropriate arrangements in advance. Maybe arrange an after hours session with your favorite girl.

I know we're talking HK. And I don't know their kickback schedule. But I know with escorts, if they earn $120/ HR, they pay the agency $20. Finders fee I suppose. LOL.

And yes, the stories I know personally, they are fairly wise, financially. With the slightest bit of financial saavy, they can earn a mont's wages in less than a night and set themselves up well.

Happy for them. But my initial point was, that comfort level, more often than not, may lead to a decline in service. I've had numerous exceptions to that rule. But I find those new to the business or short-timers provide the most genuine experiences.
