Also did Marianna say how long she would be in Reynosa? She bounces between Veracruz and Reynosa and very rarely NL. You could probably understand my agony when I walked into NL Boystown on May 4 and one of my flame girls girls in NLBT says "I just talked to Marianna this afternoon and she says she called your name and waved at you from across the street and you kind of smiled and kept walking down the street and missed out on going with her."

Marieanna did not tell me how long she was going to be in Reynosa. I do not speak but a few words of spanish so that makes communication hard. I don't think I will go again until December or January. Evidentally some caution is warranted out there. I was drinking in the Boa Bar there and talking to the owner. I told him that my taxi driver says boystown is very dangerous. He said that sometimes the army walks in when his bar is full of mafia people and in his words things get kind of tense. But he assured me that they would not fight in his bar. Also I understand that a bunch of drug dealing goes on in there.

I wanted to comment on that a little, but my better judgement keeps me from doing so. If senior members want my perspective on the narcos / mafia, feel free to ask via PM. I can enlighten and relieve some misconceptions about their activities. I am going on 5 years of residence in Nuevo Laredo, with several Reynosa visits.

Went to reynosa boystown Saturday afternoon and Monday afternoon. Had a cab driver drive me around.

The 'formal' zona de tolerancia in Nuevo Progreso is about 1. 5 miles from the bridge, beyond the intersection with Route 2 (Matamoros. Reynosa). If before was unsafe, now it is even more dangerous and visited by very few locals. It is much smaller than Reynosa BT. No real clubs like Lipstick. The 'new' clubs are on Main street of Nuevo Progreso (Av Benito Juarez). Three or four blocks from the international bridge you can find Koko Bombo club, Thursday. Sunday, after 3 pm.

I have been to nuevo laredo and ciudad acuna numerous times but mostly when things were safer on the border. I read the post about hot but expensive women in nuevo progreso. Where do you find them? Is there a club like Lipstick in nuevo progreso? Also has anyone been to lipstick in reynosa lately. The last trip to hunters club I made was very disappointing so I would like to explore other options.

Went down the weekend of May 3-5. God I really am getting bad at keeping up with this forum. I keep telling myself 'Too tired tonight, do it tomorrow night! ' Better late than never I guess.

Me and a buddy drove down from way up Friday night, got to the preferred hotel, made it into the Zona at about 2:30am. There were still plenty of doorway girls to go with. No one gave us issues for being gringos.

I met up with a girl who previously did nights and by calling her by first name, I got bonus points on the ride she took me on. Good stuff. No back to the search party. Showing girls a phone pic of his sorry face asking 'Mi amigo caminan? ' eventually I did find his wasted ass face flat on a bar countertop, thankfully not mugged, shanked or shot. Guided him out of the Zona, into the hotel room where is breath promptly saturated the entire room with ethanol. But it's the thought that counts.

With that set aside, went BACK to the Zona, with 20 pesos ready, the guy saw me and hand motioned 'no worries, frequent flyer, pasale! Pasale! ' Honestly, the selection wasn't as filled with hot chicks as the night life, but there were still hot chicks among the so-so chicks, ended up going with 3 more girls, and there were at least two more I regret not going with if I had known they were going to clock out when they did. Maybe they just grabbed lunch idk.

The best part actually sucks cause I won't be able to claim this until probably late October: The ambient temperature in the doorway rooms and our hotel room was at just the right condition. No A / C no heating, just right. That perk will be greatly missed. .

I wish we had a three day weekend, because I could've used two nights in Reynosa rather than be called into Laredo on short notice, but don't worry, the Bridge Customs gave me plenty of shit.

Also if anyone has friends in and around the San Antonio area who are curious about pillaging the freshness of Reynosa, I am open to mongerers who can help offset the cost of gas and maybe hotels, cause that's adding up fast for a two day escape for one person.

Coming back by the new Anzalduas bridge should be much faster. However the distance within Mexico is about three to four miles, instead of the less than a mile when crossing by the much busier Hidalgo bridge. I'm stil very hesitant to go back to REX, though.

Last weekend I was in Nuevo Progreso, across from Weslaco. It was much slower than during the winter months. Most of the winter texans are already gone until the next fall. I saw a 'men's club'. It was still closed, but it was early (11 am).

Progresso prices are insane $130 US for 1 hour, the girls are hot, but damn, gringos have ruined prices there. Reynosa, Just go in the day time, they like messing with gringos, just go and come back, easy as that, there are American TX plates on cars there, and it gets packed on the weekend, just use your head, but I agree are hobby no matter where can sometimes turn deadly.

Park your car for $3 on the American side and walk across. Get an older cab driver, it's less likely an older driver will try anything. Like I said before it is close but take a cab, if you take your car at the border it will take about 1 1/2 hour to cross coming back. Just look around the area for a nice girl.
