The border closes at 10 PM Arizona Time. Remember, Arizona does not do daylight savings time so at the moment that would be Pacific time. If you talk to the parking lot attendant, they can make arrangements with you to park overnight. You can then stay in a hotel.

I'm new to this and planning a trip either to Los Algodones or Nogales. Is one better than the other to get a first taste of what Mexico has to offer? I'm looking for something safe, fun, easy. Seems like all of you know what you are doing!

This could be a controversial topic. I am sure you will find a diversity of opinion on her but in my estimation I would say Los Algodones is the better of the two even though it does not have as many places.

Nogales right now is having some very hard times. The tourist money has went dry because the United States government has issued a travel advisory for the area. Now as far as if it really is as bad as the federal government says, that is a different issue. The problem for them is though now Americans are scared to go there so it is a fraction of what it used to be. Many of the mongering establishments have now closed. They have had some issues there with the drug cartels so I would say it is not as safe as Los Algodones but you have to remember it is all relative. Tijuana has a reputation of being a very dangerous place but yet if you look at the crime statistics the city I live in, Phoenix, Az has a higher crime rate than Tijuana so it is all out of proportion. Nogales has other issues against it besides the safety issue though.

First of all, Nogales is a LOT more expensive than Los Algodones. In Los Algodones you can find a bar girl that will service you for in between $60 and $100 with no problem whatsoever (this does not include the room fee). In Nogales expect to pay between $150 and $300. For that money you do not even get a nice hotel room, you literally get to fuck on a futon in a closet! There are a couple of reasons for this. First of all, Nogales is just south of Tucson where the U of A is. Unfortunately the students all go down there and are naïve and pay the high prices! They do not care, they are trust fund babies! Mommy and Daddy are giving them money!

The second reason is that Nogales is located in the Mexican state of Sonora. Sonora has more conservative laws than Baja California does (Los Algodones, San Luis Rio Colorado, Mexicali, Tecate and Tijuana are all in Baja California). This is why they have everything done in closets. The laws will not let them make an arrangement with a motel like Los Algodones and other Baja California towns do. In order to skirt around the law they have to do everything in closets. In Los Algodones they can make arrangements with hotels.

The third reason is the touts in Nogales and the very pesky bar people. The second you cross the border into Nogales these pesky little touts will come up to you wanting to take you to different clubs. They of course will want a tip too. They are very persistent and very annoying. They absolutely will not take no for an answer. They will literally follow you around the second you get over the border and even if you ignore them when you get to your place they will want a tip and will make a scene if you do not give them one. And as if this were not enough, when you finally get inside whatever club you pick then the waiters will start hounding you every 30 seconds to get you to buy drinks for the girls and to buy dances, arribas etc. You really want to just tell them "Leave me alone! I want to relax for a minute!" but you can't because then of course you will piss them off and everyone knows what happens to gringos when gringos piss off pesky waiters! Can I say policia and moridida. LOL.

Los Algodones only has two places but it is a hell of a lot cheaper and it is a lot more peaceful. There are no touts there and at the two bars the waiters will leave you alone after asking you the first time. Also, since Los Algodones is right on the border nearly everyone in the town speaks English so you will not have any troubles there. In Los Algodones they actually want you to come to the town so they are very friendly and will go out of there way to help you. Los Algodones is very safe having almost no crime issues. To be honest, I do not think the drug cartels waste their time with that small little town because there is not a hell of a lot there. LOL. It is impossible to get lost there as it is really small. You can usually find a girl there that speaks English with no troubles either.

To be fully honest, I would recommend Tijuana to a first timer because it is very tourist friendly and it has so many more girls. The girls there are comparable in cost to Los Algodones girls. All of the action there is in one place and there are plenty of English speakers. Mexicali is very good too but the only issue there is that you almost have to speak fluent Spanish as there are not as many English speakers there. Of the two you asked about though I would definitely say Los Algodones is the best.

When you go to where ever you decide to go, feel free to use my google map of all the places to help you get around. If you have an Android or iPhone smartphone I recommend using it from the phone with its GPS so you can walk around with it. If you do not have a smartphone you can print off the area you are going to. It will show you where all the places are in Tijuana, Mexicali, Los Algodones, Nogales and San Luis Rio Colorado so you need not even ask. The link is below:

The "window of opportunity" at the Hawaii Club these days is from noon to six weekly for the quality girls. The A Team is now working from Thursday to Saturday from 2 pm until 8 pm. After 8 pm they start migrating back to Mexicali. Dancing has been starting at 2 pm.

I went into the map the other day and found that it was severely fucked up by people that do not use this board. A lot of the places were moved into the wrong place and certain things were removed. Some of the info was outdated too. I am in the process of moving the map to a new google maps site. I am making it so that only the map maker (Me) and other people I designate as corroboraters can make changes to it so this way people do not go in there and screw around with it so that it takes me 4 hours to fix it every time. Unfortunately on the original map I was not the original map maker, I was only an invited corroborater so I did not have the ability to change it to make it so that only I and people I designate can make changes. The original map maker had made it so anyone could change it and it appears that he is no longer active on ISG and he no longer updates the map. I now have Mexicali and Los Algodones fixed. I recommend using it from a smartphone with GPS on it so that you can walk around to the places. The Snowbirds have migrated back to the north. I spent last weekend at the Hawaii Club. Three of the A Team girls crashed in my hotel room Saturday night after the four of us got stoned. As for the hawaii Club, the A team is arriving on Friday afternoons around 2 pm and dance until 8 pm If they are not making a good cash flow they retire early in the evening. I been following you all for some time here on ISG, and because of you I found Los Algodones. Thanks for that! I went there like 3 months ago, after finnish work in yuma I jumped the border for 3 hours and it was well worth it.

I'm planning on going this Saturday, just want to make sure there will be good talent.
