I haven't been to Hunters Club in about 3 months and was wondering if anyone has been there recently and can provide an update. Last time I was there the place was miserable. Maybe 4 women in the whole place on a Friday. Tino the owner has been a major contributor because of his high ass drink prices and room prices, etc. Also, Crosbys restaurant has been closed. The whole city is like a ghost town now. Any update would be appreciated.

I was there a couple days ago, not BT; its been literally YEARS since I've even wanted to go up there, esp with the crooked ass cops pulling you over for bullshit.

As a few days ago, I haven't noticed crosbys closed at all, maybe you confused it with another place?

El centro is pretty OK I would suppose, but if you ask the girls its dead for them, so that makes it better for us, as itll be a buyers market so to speak; get down to Tochos or Jessies and you can have your pick; just not anything really above a solid 6, but worth it when you have a good cheap beer buzz and only want to spend about $20 including the room.

The club's business is based on Hunting Season in Del Rio and greater Val Verde County, and when hunting is in season, the lodge is hopping, BUT when it's not hunting season the lodge is a dank. I, unfortunately, found that out after the fact, and experienced HL in it's dank mode. So scan the hunting season's calendar THOROUGHLY.

Year round though, there are some bars on Guerrero St the taxi cab drivers will recommend if you're looking for action. Most of them speak English and already know what you're in Acuna for if you look the role.

Actually hunters USED to be jumping all the time. What it is now is all the shit thats happening all along the border. People just don't want to come to these towns. And I know acuna is safe, but again its the rumors and etc that go around and I don't blame people for just not wanting to take the chance.

You don't really even need the taxis to take you anywhere, just walk around downtown and you can do fine; just don't get anything from the guys who speak english who always ask you want something you want a girl etc and who give you the sob story of how they were deported, fuck them. There are only a couple of guys who are legit and some of those are in jessies bar, and some of the meseros around the places.

I had to go to the demist today, in Acuna and I ask the Cabie to take me up on the hill before we went back to Del Rio.

The timing was not good, as it was about 10:15 A. M. When we got there was about 4 or five car at the Hunter's Club the Rio Club was closed.

Two men were inside, both with the club, I bought me and the cabbie a beer. ($4. 00 each) The bartender ask if I want a girl, I said why else would I have come there. So then he ask if I want big girl, a small girl, a thin girl or one with big tits. I said how about a thin one.

I think I'll stay right here in Nuevo Laredo, Acuña is a 3 hour drive for me. My last visit there was for a business trip to Del Rio, so travel hotel and food were all paid for. Where can I store my car on the American side for a week?

What's happening? I do indeed you Bbond, and it makes total sense all across the board. That's some great info on the whole passport deal. I have got to try the Nuevo Laredo gig sometime indeed. A complete rip off to say the least. Here's my Acuna testimony:

9 years ago, I stayed at the Ramada in Del Rio, TX. Being a veteran of El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Panama, Belize, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, and a large percentage of bordertowns, my expectations were not high at all. I was anticipating a boring time. Oh my God, was I wrong on that one. After about 7 beers at the Ramada, I called a cab to take me to Boys Town. I must admit that the hill was weird.
