Thanks for the reply, Ketamonger. I've been back to Northampton a couple of times since my last post here, so maybe I should share my experiences.

SW action - really bad. Went out on a warm friday night about 22.00 for a bit of recon. Parked up and took a walk around the Grafton area. Saw only one skanky looking girl at the top of Priory street who seemed more like she was hiding than looking for business. However, I heard somewhere that the heavy police activity has meant the action has moved on. Is this true? If so, where to?
